-framefixunbounded disables vsync and enables framefix, whereas -setfps 60 would cap your fps at sixty, since you shouldn't need more frames than whatever the hz of your monitor is - capping it can help prevent screen tearing and fps jumps/drops
if you have a higher hz monitor you'll want to cap it at whatever that is of course

-setfps is not connected with -framefix, it's a different launch option that has been around for a while and just sets an upper bound for your fps

Ok, here are some tips I wrote out a while ago

Against lance, stand somewhat far away and avoid their sair or dair approaches and then punish. Lance has a really linear approach game, so it's easy to avoid and punish. If you jump over their sairs, they end up in a really punishable spot. Don't mindlessly drift into dlights if your opponent is more passive, try to float around them or approach with weapon throws. Lance players like to ground pound the wall a lot, so be prepared to jump around it and punish their weak recovery

In the air you can also try to get above them since a lot of weapons have dairs that are quicker than and outrange lance nair

I'm on linux, and the game won't run at all with easy anticheat enabled, and with the -noeac option applied, it still only launches under the beta tech test. Also, even though I'm on far better hardware than my old computer, framerates stutter and are difficult to play with.

-unlockfps is a pretty old launch option (superseded by setfps), heres some better things to try:

techtest beta, under the "beta" tab in brawlhalla properties in steam, general engine improvements, locks fps to your monitors refresh rate (eg. 144hz = 144fps ingame)
-noeac launch option, disables the anti-cheat useful if you think its causing problems, cannot be used in tournaments (ranked is fine)
-framefix launch option, input delay improvements, added just a week ago but is generally better for most
-framefixunbounded launch option, the same changes as above but uncaps your FPS completely
-setfps x launch option where x = target frames (eg. setfps 1000), will not go higher than your monitors refresh rate though, unless you use -framefixunbounded

I would try techtest on its own first, if nothing is improved but its not worse then just leave it on, then try -noeac, if nothing is improved then remove -noeac, then try -framefix, if nothing improves remove it and try -framefixunbounded, if still nothing improves then try -framefixunbounded with -setfps x where x is your monitors refresh rate, or a little higher

Hello , I'm a mobile player .. I'm actually a pretty good mobile player but I wanted to upgrade my playing skills and I couldn't do most true combos with my mobile only .. so I bought a convertor Otg for mobile that turns the Type C to USB.. I plugged it in and bought a PC twin controller .. the controller and the Otg convertor both working in a playstation emulator.. they've worked when I fixed the settings inside the emulator.. when I go to Brawlhalla and click any button like up , down , right , left .. it doesn't work but when I click any other button in the controller it opens the settings menu .. when I try to get in the controls settings inside the game it doesn't show controller pad as it shows in YouTube videos .. it shows touchscreen only .. when I get in a game and try clicking any button it just pauses the game and opens the menu .. what should I do to make it work ??

DO NOT GO OFFSTAGE
if they take you offstage try not to drift in, a lot of options can be avoided by holding away shortly after getting hit, then starting to recover after they miss a move
a lot of scythe players go for the same read repeatedly even if it misses
a lot of moves are not as punishable as they seem so try not to rush in every time your opponent uses a low risk move like nlight or sair
if you have a weapon with comfortable range and good power like axe or rocket lance then use it, they have good matchups into scythe
try to dodge weapon throws even if youre onstage, they can set up for several combos and strings on hit; if it misses theyve disarmed themselves

unless you have gauntlets i seriously would not recommend going offstage against scythe, active input lets them repeatedly drive you away from the wall and deny touches (even if you do have gauntlets i would still advise against being offstage)

on top of scythe recovery being a string out of basically every move and spiking on its own
