I've been experiencing more passive encounters literally experimental. In fact, I've played like 10 matches so far and every single one of them was passive af.
I just want to see if I got something wrong or if I'm missing something.

there's no dodge cooldown after an attack. you misunderstood the test features

"dodge cool down after an attack"? there isn't a dodge cooldown after attacks, only after gravity cancelled attacks, this is to stop people being able to stall offstage with moves like volkov, thor, vector nsigs. this actual change has no tangible impact in the game outside of a few frames extra to punish if you get someone mid-gc

and due to the other changes to dodge that were introduced a while ago to exp, it makes going for a gc less risky in terms of how punished you will get if your opponent catches your dodge, since the new cooldown is shorter than an entire gc punish as the dodge is in ranked right now, theres all the more reasons to go for an aggressive gc play in exp

needless to say more centralised/lower weapon spawns and smaller maps in the pool both promote more aggressive play too

basically just unlucky, but no amount of changes they do will stop passive players, you're always gonna have people who parry because its a great strategy especially against people with no patience, learning to play into passive with passive is an important skill and always will be, even if its "better" to play aggressive (which its not, right now)

you WILL need to add -noeac to launch options to prevent the anti cheat from screaming at you

note that due to rule 4 we wont help you install it

there ARE alternatives:

1. using the techtest (fixes 90% of issues)

3. setting brawlhalla to high priority mode in task manager
4. (assuming you're using the techtest) adding -framefixunbounded to launch options (if you're getting weird jitters, try just -framefix)
5. disabling names above players (no idea why that works)
