dlight > jump > cd > nair

if the dlight is gc-ed (gravity cancelled), you do not need to jump
the cd (chase dodge) is horizontal
this is a true combo on any dexterity

second and better way to dlight nair is the buffer version

dlight > buffer cd > nair

you buffer the cd by jumping in the first few frames of the cd emitting
the timing for this is very percise and will take a lot of practice

Ok, so for axe, approach with either nlights, dash dlight to catch jumps from far away, dash weapon throws, or from the air with dairs, but if your opponent spot dodges the dairs, delay them until they spot dodge. When attacking from the air, you can bait someone trying to catch your landing by jumping before you hit the ground or bait an anti air by jumping right as you enter anti air range, afterwards you can punish with dair. Jump up to meet people above you with nair when they get within range. After slight nair, you can try to react to their dodge and punish with a nair, sair, dair, gp, or gc nsig. Don't be afraid to follow them up high with nairs if they like to jump after getting comboed. Another very important thing is to be patient sometimes and let your opponent approach. Axe is very good at catching approaches, and you should look to play patient and approach as a mixup or if your opponent plays sluggishly. When catching approaches, use dlight to anti air or jump nair, use nlight to catch grounded approaches or landings, but be careful to not get baited into thinking they're going to land and then have them jump out of range, if they're doing that, go back to dlight or jump nair. Nsig is great as well and hits on platforms on some maps. Use sair to punish laggy moves, nlight to punish quick moves and gc nlight to catch movement in the air when they try to get stacked with you. Recovery can be a quick kill option, but don't get too predictable with it, you can finish a string or combo with it if your opponent panic jumps. When edgeguarding use dairs, gc nlights, or go low and follow them back up with a recovery. When they're on the wall you can sometimes go for eggdrops, or just float above the wall and wait for them to commit to something.
