serious question: can you chase dodge in the opposite side of your enemy the reason im asking this is because i tend to go for long scythe combos and i see myself dying in alot of times and ive tried cding the other side but it doesnt seem to work anyone help?

no. chase dodging must be towards the opponent
you CAN turnaround during chase dodges by inputting the reverse of the move you hit with quickly enough, but that wont change the direction you're going in

to the other side of your enemy? yeah just hit them forward then chase dodge through them. you can chase dodge in the direction you face + up + down, you cannot chase dodge the opposite direction you're facing

i think going offstage with them is fine too scythe is best offstage when you're above them which you will be

you dont need to practise with fast fall just use it when you think you should

its pretty important for movement in general at higher levels

ensure your aimup and jump buttons are separated to follow this guide effectively

first way is more inconsistent than the second

dlight > jump > cd > nair

if the dlight is gc-ed (gravity cancelled), you do not need to jump
the cd (chase dodge) is horizontal
this is a true combo on any dexterity

second and better way to dlight nair is the buffer version

dlight > buffer cd > nair

you buffer the cd by jumping in the first few frames of the cd emitting
the timing for this is very percise and will take a lot of practice

the only way to get over 60 fps is on the techtest where it will be the refresh rate of your monitor (hz), if i have a 240hz monitor i will get 240 frames. if you are still getting 60 fps on the techtest then either your monitor is set to 60hz or you have -setfps 60 as a launch option (which is useless might as well use the non-techtest build)

lag dash is when you hold back during a dash to cancel its momentum. really good for micro spacing
