in this case theres not much you can do, i dont really think dodging to stage was the right play where you paused anyway, it cancels your invincibility frames (doesnt really matter in this situation but its still a bad habit) and you could have made it with your last jump back. if you find you press your dodge and it doesnt work (of course making sure its not on cooldown) then you could always test for input lag or keyboard ghosting

2 things. First of all your gameplan isn't horrible but it isn't the best either. With gaunts slight can be a good option sometimes but on wiff it can leave you pretty open. Instead, try to go for dlight into slight/dair/nlight because dlight is a pretty fast option, those are true out of dlight, and they leave you in a spot to read a dodge. Also zaiel is a low dex and speed legend, which can cause gaunts to feel kinda slow. For now I would suggest playing higher dex/speed gaunts charterers like wu shang, val, and caspian @winged berry

Under protonDB the lag is way less frequent ( getting a stable 40-60ms in-game) while on windows i noticed random spikes :// so i was wondering if windows firewall (or any other windows junk) can cause network issues? and what can i do to reduce it
