those exclamation points start taking away your jumps after a bit

and you should try vertically as well, it helps a lot if you mix up your dodges in higher elos

that thing you tried at the end on gauntlets, slight dair works well as a dodge read for a lot of people but you need to jump with the dair so you can get the hight

Sword is jack of all trades hammer is heavy hitting but can still do cool grabby combos unlike axe which just sair brrr, spear is more of a spacing weapon that can keep you away pretty well

Blasters are a spacing weapon that don't do the same thing as spear, you need to do that yourself, lance is very high priority and hits fairly hard

Orb is cooler sword with diagonals, bow is ranged can be used for lots of stuff

Scythe and katars reading weapons so long strings

Gauntlets either long strings or shorter combos can be either

Greatsword is just on the ground reading weapon

Cannon is kinda like lance but more strings and less heavy hitting

throw combos aren't really useful to the point i'd practice them, just make sure you know when they work. imo you dont need to freestyle anything you should use whats optimal but make sure you're not just missing because that combo is adapted specifically to a reaction like for example dair > gp on scythe would rely them to hold in to get hit by the gp, but if they jump away it wont work, smth like that you'd want to adapt to

on spear? ehh you can throw it in as a mix up but recovery is fine too since it has more force and exhausted recovery is still great for juggling/sky gimping them

you probably misunderstand what/how priority is if you want a legend that "has good priority" but for scythe legends with easier weapons theres artemis, jiro, mirage, volkov maybe even mordex if you want another string weapon

i would either go through and rule out the ones you dont like 100% (dont rule them out if you haven't tried them properly) and give each one left a good chance, if you don't like them go to the next one, give them all at least till level 10 if you haven't already

I don't know if I could help with what mediocre stuff I have. (Trust me, I too main Caspian.) All I can say is space it out and punish when the stars align. With Caspian, it's much easier since his sigs help deal with his middling range problem and even then, if you hit a player with a light attack, you could combo shit.
