If you're getting an error related to "easy anti cheat", add the -noeac launch option in Steam -> Brawlhalla -> Settings -> Properties:

1. Right click the game in the library
2. Click properties
3. Go to the general section
4. In the bottom text field, add -noeac

Brawlhalla will now launch with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.

Please note that you will not be able to play in Ranked or Tournament lobbies when EAC is disabled. As of Patch 6.07, EAC is required for Ranked and Tournament lobbies.

also for throw and dodge direction it uses the angle of the stick instead of its position
and the angles are adjusted for stick height

but what matters is the increased deadzone, and it's possible the increase throws off your timing just enough to drop it

you can only gc a directional dodge with an attack of the same direction (neutral for up dodge, side for side dodge, down for down dodge), and you need to input the attack VERY EARLY into the gc.
so you can't delay it. you basically have to attack while you dodge.
also you can't do this after an attack due to chase dodges.

tl;dr don't try to do it. just spot dodge and cancel that.

It is unlikely. You can email [e-mail] but they rarely respond, seeming as though it’s an anticheat issue you’re best to get in contact with the easy anticheat support but again, it is unlikely to happen.

I suggest watching pavelskis movement guide to help with general movement techniques like dash jumping
Combos can be worked on in the training room, so can dodge reads if you set the bot to dodge a certain direction after getting hit
To stop dodging in you simply need to remember or catch yourself after you dodge, it’s a simple habit.
