so keep your distance and try to bait with safe moves like slight, stay about the lance user and use things like dair (but dont spam falling dair cuz the lance player can just dlight you), and when you get a punish stay on top of the lance user and get extended strings
remember that your nlight is a good fast stacked option, but lance dlight is something youll have to be aware of
finally, play a bit of lance yourself to better understand how lance players think

30 mins before brackets start, youll do precheckin, you have 30 mins, if you dont show up youll be removed from the bracket (doesnt count as a double loss or dq, its as if you didnt sign up)
then youll be placed in a bracket, and youll check into each set
once you and your opp have checked in, one of you will get asked to create a lobby, usually if this is your first time playing a toureny you wont be making they lobby
then you connect to the lobby ingame, play the matches, report scores, and repeat unit you lose two sets or win the tourney

correct its 1680, so what happened is during your placements you actually went over 1680, but the game shows your peak elo as whatever you ended your placements on but kept the plat icon, etc because technically you did reach 1680, its a kinda silly bug. we dont know if this counts for end of season rewards, etc though

i think its a mod i downloaded from a website and yea basically pasted it in

open the files in your favourite non-mspaint (cuz mspaint doesn't work well with transparency) image editor, and remove the white parts using some selection tool or color based selection.
you can do it using powerpoint but if you want it to be a nice process, download and use paint.net
