i am a blaster main so i decided to play reno when he came out, i started playing him alot so much so he became my new main. i am level 59 with reno and i got 1927 peak with reno alone. But there is one problem idk if its with the nerfs but all the sudden i feel like orb is holding me back. it was never like this i always had no problem using orb but now it seems the weapon doesnt kill or is good enough well IN MY EYES. now when i ever i play reno in ranked im always using blasters and throwing away orb instantly.
honestly ive been considering of switching to another legend who has blasters except isaiah (im not good with cannon).

it is a bit of a commitment but it'll be very useful for the climb to diamond, particularly if you're playing artemis

both lance and scythe benefit greatly from using spacebar instead of W to jump

if you do want to stick with using W to jump the technique i found for lance slight dair is to sorta roll your finger from the W to S key while performing the combo

its a little hard to explain but essentially instead of pressing W then S to input the combo you'd press both of them together, one after the other

once you get the technique down it actually becomes easier to input than using spacebar lol

Make sure if you have the options "collapse crossovers" on in preferences that shes under the legend instead of having her own section on the character list (like a normal character skin) that could be a reason why you cant find her, also i recommend restarting if you're 100% sure you cant find her (she will either have her own icon or be under that chracter

No it’s not speed does the most by far of any stat. Ulgrim sigs are slow half them can be jumped, artemis lance ssig is almost instant and basically zero risk, her scythe ssig is fast and kills early af, her lance nsig is a grounded upwards kill option that doesn’t commit you to anything unlike ulgrims which sends you off the ground and doesn’t hit as high. My rank doesn’t matter all of this is objective

dont chase dodge, to dash after a light attack instead of chase dodging you hold the down key

if you want to do a different attack that isnt downlight you'd dash (dodge key + down key) then let off the downwards input and do another (side/neutral)

hold down
light attack
when you hit, jump, hold towards the opponent, and press light attack
to get it true press the jump and the attack at the same time

practice in training room. activate "show stun" in the menu to see if you get it true (if a dodge window count appears - you did it wrong)

true combos are important in general gameplay. so see this as an opportunity to learn them for your main weapons.
