Techtest will use your monitors refresh rate, that could be changing but it really shouldn't be, regardless I recommend trying the launch option -framefixunbounded (see bot message below this one) as it'll completely uncap your fps

To enable framefix, make sure you are on the techtest branch of Brawlhalla in Steam, then set your launch options to either -framefix or -framefixunbounded. Both launch options will enable framefix - however, -framefixunbounded will also disable VSync, uncapping your FPS in-game. You can also combine either of these options with -setfps 60 (or your desired FPS, usually your monitor hz). Depending on your hardware, you may see different results with each - try both to see which works best for you.

There's a low chance you get multiple 15s
Hypothetically if you get 16 elo for every match you end up at plat on the dot at 1680, cause they times the elo you would get by 3 for each win

I have an iPad with a Magic Keyboard and I wanna play Brawl using it because mobile controls are plz no. The keyboard definitely works because when I press buttons in-game then it jumps and attacks, i.e. W jumps, Z/J light attacks, C/L dodges etc, but the only thing I can’t seem to do is move left and right which is sort of a problem. When I go to Edit Controls then it doesn’t show Keyboard Controls, so I can’t map any buttons either. Can someone please help? Thanks!

most likely one is you're focussing too much on the outcome of a match rather than what happens in the match

if you want to win more consistently you should focus on getting more consistent on the individual things that lead to a win rather than the match as a whole

you should treat individual events in the match as their own "wins": if you successfully land a difficult string that's a win. if you break neutral and gain an advantage that's a win. if you successfully punish your opponents whiffed move that's a win

you can kinda trick your brain into rewarding you for every good decision you make in a match so you continue to make those good decisions

you can also share screenshots or clips or whatever to people which can help reinforce that good gameplay and the feeling of success that comes with it

I am lagging, a lot in-game. Latency lag my guess, as I am teleporting all over the place. it's only recently started happening since the patch, i've tested on other games so on so fourth and there has been no issues, I have tried using tech test with and without launch commands, also the same for the normal version of brawlhalla. my pc is also good enough to run brawlhalla, any suggestions?

1. its just a bug and will be fixed by a restart
2. its because a purchase you made was refunded

tbh, i'd forgotten about them i'll see if they can be put in the new system too, but that may take a while as they're functionally seprate commands (like %cat vs %active)

im basically a dev almost kinda (totally real)

eac on uplay and epic is very wonky
supposed to not be needed cuz of the monolithic game exe

but it ranked still needs it for some reason

uplay's manifest has a folder for eac but theres no exe
epic's manifest doenst even have a folder for eac
even if you get the eac files from steam the uplay verision doenst know to look for them so it never uses them
(epic uses a weird uplay version with a mini ubisoft connect client and dlls)

hell uplay and epic dont even have techtest branches
which just screams "these versions are afterthoughts and arent fully supported [yet]" to me at least
