Okay, first of all, good artist never draw with a mouse (if someone reply me and say "ohohhh you're wrong, there is good artists that draw with a mouse" I'll cut off his head) buy a tablet (Wacom or Huyon are good ones) Second, as you said, you had 0 ideas, and that's the biggest mistake you've done. Like, who is this character? Why is he surprised? Why he wears that thing on his eyes? What is that can on the right side? So before you draw something, at least make a concept of your idea. Next thing, I dont like how you played with color, it's almost monochromatic but you added that green thing on the top of the can. Why? You can search in the internet how artists use color in their work. There is a lot of schemes like complementary, monochromatic, etc. Also I dont like how you made the lineart. The character is lined with black, the gun is lined with white, the can is not even lined. Find a balance, if you want your artwork to be lined, make everything lined. Next, your character is boring, I mean: red hair, black shirt, that thing in his eyes, and a gun. Nothing special, it doesn't make a story. The place is also not detailed, what is that background, and the table? And that can! Oml please remove it, it makes such a dis balance in your work, the viewer will struggle to choose which thing he must look at, the character or the can? And learn anatomy, your character doesn't look like a healthy human. If you cant buy a tablet, then I advice you to practice some vector art, it doesn't need any skill of drawing (search in youtube what is it, and download Adobe Illustrator for that) Ok I guess I finished
