You'd be done faster than you might think.

Gathering enough ebon iron to max out all 8 mystic skill slots (+ a bit of extra) requires 9 runs of full 5 Outpost (Joint Battles), all chests claiming triple rewards (i.e. 60 energy).

Most people only care about the 4 - 5 main mystic skills they use for combat and ignore the puzzle ones, so you should be done even earlier.

Yeah, that's normal.

For me personally, I always go for mystic skills first, not out of performance, but more for efficiency.

You get gear while running outpost, and though the sets are random, if you roll good lines, you can just convert.

And also, purely anecdotal among 3 of my friends and I, we find that shells (golden and rainbow) seem to drop more abundantly in outposts than in STs. So we often see this as a good preparation for the gear tuning that will come afterwards when we focus on Sword Trials.

And in a way, Outposts have 'an end in mind', once you're maxed out, you can stop doing them.

Whereas gear, there's no real 'end goal', there's only 'good enough', but can always get better. Difficult to put a stopper on it and move on to something else.

1. The patch notes say the Wandering Tale is fixed that does not give the Dagger? How do I get said Dagger now, if it was bugged for me?

they fixed the wandering tale for players who didn't activate it before the patch notes
and as for the antique and the anecdote if you didn't get them during the quest then you are soft locked from them until they give us the option to reverse the quest

Yes you do.

Just by entering, you already get sin leaf, but winning + getting a good kill score will exponentially increase the number you get (maximum I got with winning + about 8+ kills was about 1,500).

But if you die early or evacuate early, you get around 200-300 per round.

I think the absolute worse scenario is making in 2nd place with a good kill score, you will get only around 700-800.

Yeah, so if you play for fun, more power to you, it's quite an interesting game mode.

But if you play for sin leaf (such as myself), you will find it extremely demoralising. Especially if you lose to some explosive bow spamming dude you can't even see or find after he traps you in the fan cage.

Yes, it allows you to retune a retuned line indefinitely (once every 7 days). But you can only reroll one line in that gear.

Because when I approach the entrance, the guard in front mentions I look like I know a lot about medicine, but... Then nothing happens. He's not marked as an enemy or hostile, but there's no option to respond to him. If I go past him and the guards all attack, he'll then move and become an enemy, but the alternative option for clearing never shows up when I go near him.

First way run outpost and focus on mystic skills first second way get some lvl 91 gear with a good base stat and enough gold/rainbow shell and start with tuning if u alredy got an good lvl 86 gear piece u can modulate that to lvl 91 gear

Base stat is first roll on a weapon and what u want is at least purple and in ideal case something like crit/ affinity or max physical and about what is good depends on what weapon u play
