aaah gotcha, didn't know you meant that. To clarify, people level-up martial skills inkwell/vernal and panacea/soulshade, and both of these use umbrella/fan. They queue up for trials as both healer and dps for faster queues. If they enter as dps, they go in as inkwell/vernal. If they go in as healer, they go in as panacea/soulshade (game autoswitches you if have presets saved - sometimes glitchy).

I am playing with Deflection assist open. Maybe my reactions are bad, but while the enemy is taking damage, they look like they lost the balance, not holding their weapons properly. And suddenly they decide to attack, as if they are skipping some frames in between. Similarly, sometimes they fell on the ground. And I continue hitting them, they immediately start standing on their feet and attack. And sometimes skills are too shiny and I don’t see if they are attacking me. Will I get better to adapt to the game mechanics, does it feel weird to anyone else?

Mobs don't have clear animations, you can learn their timings tho with more experience with the game

Uh what you mean about them losing their balance > your weapon is staggering them
Some enemy animations/attacks pull them out of stagger, or your stagger effect ended and the enemy attacked with low windup
