She has some nasty multi hit attacks that if you miss and get caught in - will cost you a lot of health. So the idea is to parry or dodge them in time. If your difficulty setting allows (story or recommended) then you can turn on deflect assist as well, unless you already use it. I think it is less of about the weapon and more about how you react to her moves
