The zheng family died like 12 yrs ago, why are they white haired now?
The people in mc's dream before boss fight with zheng e
I thought a'ruan was dead and frozen, or zheng e is cold fungus poisoned. But the others are dead

Can anyone explain the lasts scene with veiled lady?
What is the Jade pendant and why does aureate pavilion want it?
or manipulated her
Visual storytelling primarily (that's hallucination/visualization of Zheng E's inner turmoil, so devs can afford creative>>reasonable decisions)
The real surviving family members have black hair, if not elderly grey
Hello
I just would like to get this out of my chest. As a player with maybe 22k-23k Points in Scholar this game is almost trying to insult the role.
In a "Breathing" Jianghu, your high Scholar points should have triggered a progression like this:
Step 1: Local Candidate (Xiucai): You gain the right to debate local NPCs and influence village prices.
Step 2: Provincial Graduate (Juren): You gain prestige and the ability to post official "Bounties" that other players must follow.
Step 3: The Imperial Exam (Gongshi): A rare, server-wide event where top Scholars compete.
Step 4: Court Official: You are assigned to a city. You have actual legal power—you can pardon criminals, declare festivals, or call for the "Imperial Guard" to clear a bridge.
Instead, Where Winds Meet gave you a powerless title and a "combat" skip button its freaking frustrating.
I know that there is also Talismans but is that just really it? Have you seen the bounty boards lately being so empty of requests for scholars sometime?
Chat how do we know that aunt han brother that got organ take to qianye is a brother. Aren't the shimmer quest show twin girls?
@royal plover gonna ask aunt han admirer
I think it was something about how they dressed him up as a girl
Yeah i just noticed in video show han brother and liang family make him dress like girl and dancing
Guys do we actually travel to the past in hexi? Like is what we experience real? Or is it really a dream?
A dream
Huh I thiught it was the past
It's all the painter's dreams. But since he's a special person, he's able to dream vividly of the past. The Veiled Lady is also a special person, a harmonizer. She resonated with his dreams , constructed a dreamscape for us, and threw us there to uncover Golden Peach's secret.
Thx! And whag was the golden peach supposed to do? And what was the story of fang bai?
The golden peach was believed to bring prosperity to an empire, cure all diseases and resurrect the dead. But ofc it is bs. Nonetheless the entire jianghu seeks it.
Fang bai
Palm strike master (Lan Shou Chi)
||Since he was young, he always wanted to matter. He first learnt martial arts from a teacher, Palm Strike Sage (is not Palm Strike Master) and then he joined inkbound order, he would apply to become an administrator for Chang'an but is rejected every time. ||
||He had a girlfriend, Lan Ao, she was sick. When Fang Bai had the courage to propose, Lan Ao rejected immediately. She said that he couldn't understand her, though it made no sense to him, there is nothing Fang Bai could do. The girl, Lan Ao never told him about the puppet poison or who she was (daughter of Palm Strike Master, the person that split the cliff into half with a a palm strike, in the quest is currently a lowly inspector serving for Zhu Youli). ||
||Fang Bai was heartbroken, so he left and went to the country side to wait for a carriage to go to Chang'an. While waiting he saved a young painter, Huajing. The painter wanted to draw his portrait but Fang Bai rejected. The painter wrote down his address and threw the note into Fang Bai's carriage as it was leaving. ||
||The stories we pick up in the misty forest are written by Fang Bai to the painter. He wrote about little things that made him happy, and they became close friends.||
I'll continue, this is long asf
||One day the golden peach came to Qinchuan. Fang Bai didn't know that Zhu Wen had already killed the Tang emperor and sent soldiers to massacre his sect. Inkbound order sent their best disciples to carry the peach to Chang'an sine it was believed to save an entire empire. The soldiers killed almost every single disciples but none of them revealed the secret of the golden peach. Fang Bai knew none of this, so he invited his painter friend to see the "exciting event", however when he arrived he was in shock, that the person carrying the golden peach, Palm Strike Sage was dead.
If the golden peach was believed to be taken by force, then it won't have a trail to follow. Fang Bai wrote down that he killed his own master to seize the peach and that note you can see in the misty forest pinned on a tree.||
||His teacher told him to pass the peach to Palm Strike Master, but the legendary hero was now such a lowly person, how could Fang Bai find him in the entire jianghu So he went and told the entire jianghu a traitor named Fang Bai had murdered his master to steal the golden peach. He made an invitation to the hero assembly hoping everyone would show up. ||
||Before any of that, Fang Bai wrote to the painter to sever their friendship, as he didn't want the painter to get into the mess. ||
||Lan Ao b4 the assembly knew about Fang Bai's suicidal plan, so at the assembly, she disguised as him and tell the entire room who dares to kill her. Later on Fang Bai and Palm Strike Master realized what Lan Ao had done, so he gave the real peach to Palm Strike Master and they both went to the assembly with a fake one. ||
||The moment Zhu Youli reached out to grab the fake peach from Fang Bai, he gets stabbed to death, and Fang Bai also gets killed by other people in the assembly.||
Its a brief explanation for the character Fang Bai
Details are still missing but enough to understand
It is my understanding that, after getting the golden peach (iykyk) and finding his hometown destroyed, Painter (Huajing) started seeing vivid visions of people from all across Hexi. He settled and worked on expressing it through painting, drawing and destroying and drawing again, until ultimately he created the mural ||we find at the end. His body was failing by that time, but his will was strong, and the visions(dreams) were still tormenting him. That's when Chuyu found him. She tried entering Painter's dream, but was unable to connect properly and reach deep into his soul to find "the secret".|| The lady later came up with a plan to get YM to enter Painter's dream.
The visions that Painter saw are somewhat similar to YM seeing flashbacks like Zheng manor – they're harmonizers (special kind of people in WWM world), so they can vibe with the world and pick up the past. It is safe to say that the general gist of events is correct, but some artistic details aren't [ex.: Liangzhou likely was normal on-the-ground city, no floating cups; Qinchuan had normal ground, not paper-taxtured; etc]
Finally, thank you for the explanation.
The story ended with the death of all the handsome men.
Ylan tran you have Chinese name now!
On the bright surge, it's about the painter's dreams and the voices of different characters/figures and their longing for home & peace, while the dark surge is about ||the passing down of the Golden peach & a key introduction to YM's identity||. Most importantly it started because the veiled lady wanted to know about her identity & her past as well (but failed), so she took a gamble on YM, but this experience also let YM face & see through themselves
they slapped each other to death 😄
Regarding the golden peach, you can read this message and the quoted one as well: #1478069586526998578 message (I'll try to use simple words) Note that, the confirmed harmonizers are both BaiChuYu & YM, and they are both the only ones we know to have the talent maxed out as well (they're both special). The basic skills such as wind sense & communicating with animals can be trained through time an effort, but high level skills like YM being compatible & able to resonate to all "sounds" of the world (from how they're able to enter the painter's dream, and relieve the past like in kaifeng where they went back to the day the Zheng family got massacred) isn't something everyone can achieve. Even though the jade/golden peach is able to amplify one's sensitivity towards the "sounds" of the world, to be able to listen & resonate to everything requires a high level of talent (which BaiChuYu & YM possess).
FINALLY, new cutscene

Harmonizers
Considering uncle Jiang knew we were a harmonizer
Was he possibly a harmonizer too
hhelpwwhay
|| he doesnt know ||
|| no one really knows what harmonizers are aside from harmonizers themselves. ||
I think he does cuz in the events tab, KNOW YOUR JIANGHU
A text there mentions uncle Jiang left a personally written tome on harmonizers for the YM
Honestly it was both through wwm girl and checking it afterwards that I was like damn it's quite literally there
hmm, idk I’m not convinced he knows exactly what a harmonizer is
It dosnt say its personally written by him either
i just checked the in game text
what it means is actually
he left behind a book that contained a hidden message
hidden message left by whom idk
written by whom idk
oh wait actually
there was also the cutscene from the beginning
after void king
so nvm maybe he does know

Wang qing dead after zhongdu bridge, Li zuo main villain of the story
Villain, he created the aureate pavilion
Thanj you so much ❤️
Thank you! ❤️ I really apprefiate it
Thank you! This is an amazing explanation! ❤️
Li Zuo (on the right) is alive, just has white hair now [you can see him in Void King campaign and Bai Chuyu's story, journal entry "Last emperor"]
Wang Qing (on the left) died just before Jiang Yan picked up the kid that'd grow into the protagonist, the story is mentioned in many places in Qinghe. Journal entry exists, but doesn't have his face or model, just name
Hi
where the dev? i need some help and discord don't have the help or reporting in game, when death screen, ( there a player is trapping people in their killing zone of the map, by using the co op, feature and the game map death instantly when out of map, with the trick of selling Trade of high Percente to trap people in to infinte death
it's like a disign that they turned into trap of unleavable... by the game itself
it's a trap of seeing the people see the people by the feeling the power to do whatever they wanted on people without consent and not whatever they wanted on thing to do.
it's easy to escape in real life, but hard in game, due to there's no chance to even to even to think. so yeah, it's intend to make everyone blinded to hurt that one person in the trap as entertainments of frustration....
i'm not mad, i'm just explained right now, so you the dev can check the problem and the game out, so people can abuse it anymore, simple, if in co op and if a player is instantly 3 to 5 time in game co op, instantly disconnected that person from the co op, remember ( of Instantly )
and yes, you should a a hub of chatting too, at least there is a place. it's simply make people feel powerless in any location, to have something to do something., good luck
So our real father is dead?wang qing?
"Discord doesn't have..." you didnt even try looking, here: #🦢ask-devs-anything #reporting
Wang Qing is not MC's father. As far as we know he only had adopted children, including Jiang Yan (MC's adoptive father) and He Ran (appears in encounters). You can say Wang Qing is MC's adoptive grandfather
As for MC's blood parents, it's cn.ver spoilers ||no namedrops, but based on surroundings of Jiang Yan picking up MC, the parents are most likely dead||
So, it was Uncle who was being pursued, not us, from the beginning.
Now this makes us a secondary character.
It was! Uncle Jiang = Jiang Yan, he was the one playable and carrying the child that'd grow up to he yhe MC. MC addresses his adoptive parents as uncle and aunt, but they're by all parameters the adoptive parents (and MC calls them parents on a few occasions in dialogs with NPCs)
Jiang Yan is main character of the prologue, while MC/we are the main character of the story (can be argued otherwise for Hexi, but for simplicity reasons, MC is the main character)

Reading comprehension check❣️
Yes, yes, I understand, all handsome people die in the end.
Good thing the gray-haired villain is still alive
so far
Keep him alive for my sake
Runner-up in the child neglect olympics
She wasn't his real daughter at all, and the uncle didn't care about us; he was just traveling.
This makes two of them
Woah
I don't even know where to start here
So
Both MC and Chuyu are adopted around same time. She's a few years older, but it barely makes a dent.
For 13 years, as we know from MC's positive memories of childhood, MC is raised by adoptive parents +the community is actively present (Jiang Yan and Han Xianxun are the parents, and then there's Tian Bushou, Chen Zixi, Ruby's parents, and everyone else around). At the same time, as we saw from Chuyu's memories, she was primarily left to her own devices. While MC formed strong sense of self and socialized, Chuyu formed deep sense loneliness and insecurities.
Three years before Main Story started (so, when MC was ~13yo), Jiang Yan left for plot reasons, leaving the kid with trusted community. Li Zuo didn't go anywhere, he just proceeded to do nothing
I guess if 13 years of raising an adopted child is "just traveling" in your books, that's on you
Funnily enough, that's exactly the mistake Chuyu made
Still better than Feng Yi's children, so I guess Li Zuo is doing at least something right
Feng Yi catching strays
Always time for Feng Yi hate on my clock
Hey everyone, I’m Peace. I’m in my early 20s, originally from Pretoria and now living in the UK.
I’m someone who’s been through a lot personally, so I understand what it feels like to deal with anxiety, low moments, and trying to figure life out while still pushing forward. These days I’m focused on school, handling my responsibilities, and just working on becoming a better version of myself.
Outside of that, I enjoy things like music, movies, anime, gaming, learning new things, and I’d love to travel more when I can. I’m pretty easygoing, I like real conversations, and I appreciate people who are genuine.
I’d like to connect with people who are mature, respectful, and just good vibes overall. Whether it’s to talk, share interests, or support each other, I’m open to it.
Amusing how the oldest and the youngest sect are everywhere in the jianghu

Feng Yi hate session begins
is it anakin and luke
Damn no one reply me, i ask about which quest doing first in chronological order?
Don't think it matters. One of the side can be completed before main quest. The other side quest only can finish after main quest. So whichever side quest u start with u'll end up in the correct order anyway
I just want to do it in chronological order, like in liangzhou quest happen not in chronological way so its difficult to me to dive into story
✊
@royal plover
It's the first one you run into after entering and going through a little bit of Qinchuan
considering the notes in the know your jianghu, I'm sure he knows a thing or two, arguably you could say Jiang might be one, because harmonizers have different levels, basic talents like wind sense, beast communication technically is also what harmonizers can do, but to be able to achieve levels like YM & BaiChuYu (being able to establish connections in living and dead, entering & resonating with someone else's dream, creating dreams like what baichuyu did) requires high level of the talent, which is why it makes the 2 special. The jade is there to amplify their talents, so think of YM & BaiChuYu getting the max level talent & being supported by the jade at the same time.
you would start the my friend chapter first, so just follow the flow, my friend is a chapter that chains all the quests, and you wouldn't be able to proceed with my friend without completing the campaigns & jianghu legacies required
There no quest name my friend
Exactly, and honestly I wonder if in the future we would become good friends with bai chuyu
the full name of the quest is friends, to the end, which is the msq
considering ||we're getting jiangnan map in cn soon, and a lot of things were pointing to jiangnan + aureate pavilion's base is also around there, it wouldn't be surprising if we meet baichuyu there||
Honestly the two of them need a break, just getting dragged into useless conflicts and wars
The fortunate thing is that YM grew up with love, good morals & connections from Aunt Han & Uncle Jiang that protected them throughout their journey, while LiZuo didn't let BaiChuYu get involved in any of the aureate pavilion's operations still, I ain't forgiving what the crazy villian had done so far, but after all they're still kids, and YM honestly haven't got over with the trauma despite the strong facade they put on
Nooo u reminded me of blissful retreat again
atp this is shared trauma
Helloo
ive been dreaming of the little peaceful events in kaifeng and u mentioned it fahhh
hi
Luckily the YM has battled their inner demons
But right now they gotta let the tears flow or it'll weigh heavily on their heart
whats up people
Hii
wats up folks
Doom scrolling this channel, waiting for more content to pile up
Can I ask how many mythic total count in all season? Since day1? Like count in badge title?
There's also ||Masked Troupe and Silver Needle along with some other sects there in Jiangnan, certain important NPCs are gonna be very involved there so they're gonna break them up to campaigns and lost chapter quests||
when the math sect release 🙁
hi
That’s so fricking cute but no need for ai 😭
Mc shared scene with aynur made me realise just how angry she is
YM is really handling their emotions well, they wouldn't let their hatred blind them🥹 with a heartbreaking fact that neither YM nor aynur successfully took revenge ||until this point of time, the devs love to mirror the character's story||
Hello
Not really. Anakin and Luke have each their respective stories, while WWM decided to make prologue the taster for combat gameplay, and they had to either pull time travel or use experienced character for this one. Using Jiang Yan as an entry point makes sense, because he is experienced enough to let players start with action instead of "press D for ➡️" and he is connected to MC, so the introduction section tie into the greater story. Unc's 10 min of fame barely make a dent in the story, and the amount of time players spend with MC
👀
Hello
This is absolutely cutie
What this poeple wish quest mean?
Still not finish yet, only finish first tomb when we go to inn at jade gate pass
There 2 identity we can use, whos they, why when i chose as masked troupe the guard try to kill me
He's a crucial character in the dark surge, without him the golden peach wouldn't have been able to pass down. Lan He is his original name and he was a masked troupe disciple, who decided to go out from Chang'an to retrieve the golden peach by faking his death by fighting & "died" under thugs. Xu Jian is the nickname he used after he faked his death and as botanist to hide his true intention. He knew about the golden peach since the person who passed it down to guoxin was the second leader of Masked troupe.
Is this masked troupe leader who give peach to gou xin?
Yeah, the second leader Lady Gongsun
Whos fang bai
an inkbound order discple, you'll learn about him when you proceed with the Sunken City Lake Campaign
What with the third tomb, temple massacre?
the bounty hunter could be one of the golden peach holders after SuoJing (it's unclear how many people held it in between, or who exactly the bounty hunter is, the bounty hunter may be the same person as the only survivor of the incident) until the Palm Strike Sage
4th tomb is about wang qing right, but this is happen years after qinchuan, bc he still not be born at this time?
And the guy play with him is wang huo, his brother? But why he suddenly turn into li zuo?
Who is the veiled lady and the old painter?
how he get's so old while i met him just couple of min ago and he was almost in my age...??
am i was dreaming for all the time?
During qinchuan, the two were already born. The people's wish is about the stories of the few key characters that once held the golden peach, which is why you can't be strict about the timeline, it's very messy. Wang Hou is a title used for nobles/emperors, which is referring to LiZuo in this case.
Wang qing and li zou are friend?
Yep, Hexi is a dream, specifically the painter's dream. For the veiled lady, if you completed everything, she already told her name, and I recommend reading the dark surge about The Harmonizers, which pretty much explains BaiChuYu & YM's identity
So wang qing knew li zuo still alive?
||He died b4 li zuo bro 😭 ||
yeah, wang qing, lizuo & qingyi knew each other, and were once close friends but grew apart due to different ideals
i just can't understand a lot of thing plus a lot of confused you know..the translation is the most pathetic things ever happened in my life..!!!
Have you unlocked all of the dark surges? To explain this, I'll have to explain everything right from the start, because it's about the jade we're holding, I don't want to spoil without consent
Remind me What years wang died?
This not our fault, the translation really bad, and most of quest happen in the middle of something, so we dont know what the char and why doing it without collecting other thing from other side quest.
Beside in hexi quest its force player to learn about Chinese history which is difficult for non cn player, bc this game not plan to go global at the fist place.
bro you can spoil...,,,
i have finished everything...plus all the 100% exploration too (except for 2)
I still carry Aynur stone it’s one of my favourite accessories
Hexi had the best side characters
#1478069586526998578 message If you read this & the quoted message (I did this before hexi, so the terms & words I use might be different from what you see in game), it explains what exactly the jade (which is the golden peach) is along with the veiled lady's & ym's special identity.
Origins of the jade:
Back then, it was said that the Tang empire was offered a rare fruit that was described to be as big as a goose egg in gold. The fruit was recorded as golden peach (original name of the jade, given by Lady Gongsun). Yet rumours of the jade spread among the jianghu, some say it can revive the dead, some say it can extend ones age by 1000 years (Tang at that time is still at its peak). Lady Gongsun (The second leader of Masked Troupe) took a real "gold peach" which is the jade, and sealed it in a wooden box, waiting for someone worthy to pass it down for. It was then she met young Guoxin and passed it down to him.
Summary of the people who once held the jade:
Lady Gongsun -> Guoxin -> Lan He/Xu Jian (crucial character in dark surge who risked everything just to retrieve the jade, the jade got snatched by foreign forces, but he and YiChao managed to reclaim it together) -> Yichao -> Huaishen -> Suo Jing -> multiple wanderers -> Palm Strike Sage -> Fang Bai -> Palm Strike Master (Lan ShouChi, Lan Ao's father) -> Painter -> Wang Qing. After the ZhongDu bridge war, the jade broke into 2 pieces, and is held by BaiChuYu & YM, while YM had their's snatched by Uncle Jiang at the start of the game.
In 946, the zhongdu bridge war
Also I heard that all of them are connected in some way like Aynur’s brother was the assassin sent to kill the young general, I think Lian Daozi grandfather was the guy that gave burlap sack water?? I’m not too sure also An Liuli’s teacher is another character
The emotions were so heavy that I am still coping from Hexi
yep, lian daozi's great grandfather was XiaoLian in the burlap sack quest & also AnLiuLi's teacher
Could you remind me who XiaoLian is?
Ik that name but idk him at the same time 😭
I love how Qinchuan tied everything together like it wasn’t just random stories
So wang qing is name, but when come to li zuo wang huo is title?
And I like how slow the quests are because it really immersive, although I hated burlap sack quest at the start
the young man that burlap sack saved, if you read the ledger in the inn of LiangZhou Melody's quest, you'll get to know that XiaoLian's name is Lian ErLang
Wang Hou is like sir/madam in the past, except it's used for nobles/emperors, and yes Wang Qing is a name
I’ll have to read again, also I keep seeing the Erlang surname all over
And i though li zuo like already 100 years when wang qing death, bc he doing immortal surgery thing
LiZuo was born in 892, while Wang Qing is 1-2 years younger than him, in 962, LiZuo is 70, so he's not that old
So how is the painter and Wang Qing connected how do they meet
but it's true that LiZuo most probably achieved some sort of state, what exactly it is or how, we don't have an answer yet
The only thing we know is that the painter gave the jade to another "Fang Bai" (we know the painter is severely near sighted, so he most probably recognized the person through their vibe/personality), it's not clear whether if someone else held the jade before Wang Qing or not, so the possibility is there, but Wang Qing's overall vibe does resemble Fang Bai.

Thank you so much
how to fix the innerway light and shadow is not working and stopped giving me buff
can i chat with you or massage you privately...!!
as i have a thousands question in my mind...
from the very beginning of this game like who we are?
what's about our uncle and what's the relation between him and aunt han? and a lot of you know...!! why the witch attacked blissful retreat blah blah
if your are comfortable only then...
or we can simply chat here
I have a theory about that
yeah pls
I think the witch is actually that shady girl we saw on the chess board when the shimmer talked about aunt hans past
No actual relation between Jiang and Han. They just wanderers who happened to meet
She is also the one that’s behind aunt hans brother death
there was 2 girl yeah i can remember one dies and one is aunt han as i understand actually
They met by chance
bro??!!!
One guy one girl. Girl is Han, guy is hans brother
And I think tian ying was the middle man for the meeting
The bad girl made the guy cross dress
oww man!!! this chinese boys 🤣
Because she loved pretty things
No I think there’s more to it than that
bro if you don't mind can you write all this in one single msg?
it's easier for me to read then ...
Bro if I need to explain everything from first to the current day of wwm It will become a quite interesting story but a huge one at that
Look up some lore channels for wwm like wwm girl on YouTube
There’s so many people in this story that It makes one piece look pale
yeah i know...😶
There's very good coverage of lore and obscure information that people easily missb
She’s really good at explaining tbh
And she takes out every single reference behind her logics which is quite remarkable
which video is good and lore accurate?
i watched 3 or 4 videos and there was very different different story in some cases!!!
I duno. I mostly watch Chinese content tbh but wwm girl has very good reviews in the community
But I came here(lore-chat) to ask a question: is uncle Tian( the medicine guy ) and tian ying the same dude?
No
Bt the med guy is super sus
Uncle tian is a cross dressing woman. Tian ying is ancient China version of James Bond. Very different
Kinda like the unfated
Qinghe storyline is basically tian ying die another day movie
What if uncle tian is the result of James Bond cross dressing?
ohh i see...chinese i don't understand so only option is looking for the wwm girl
Yea. There're a few others I think but I only remember wwmgirl
Dude is literally called - thousand faced
hy any one help me

How
uncle tian story is quite a shock to me imo
aureate's plan was to retrieve the list from aunt han, they probably didnt plan to raze the place down but it was simply the witch's whims to do so cause she wanted to the things dear to aunt han. qianye was weirdly obsessed with her
Imposter or did we really just beat this man into poverty?
imposter, real one is Zheng E
I feel like I've heard that name before too but i can't remember
Oop exploding chest got me
Why is unfated tian still in that moonlit place
i still didnt fully understand death of governor story
We have agenda in Where Winds meet now?
zhang huaishen is nephew of zhang yichao, basically many wanted him dead, ranging from the assassin, the eunuch (court), and even his sister/relatives
it's unknown who exactly killed him, but he was the also the last thing that was kind of keeping liangzhou together. After he died, it was soon lost to invaders
Basically the zhang family kind of reconquered the region and brought it back into imperial fold, got laws in place and so on. All this after the regions were kind of written off as lost/gone and they had virtually no support. This was kind of a miracle and they got on the emperor's good side. However they rose into significance and different forces schemed against them. This more or less backfired as they lost liangzhou. Huaishen was just the one that kind of got the "bill" as people didn't really target him personally but moreso the family in itself. If I'm wrong someone correct me.
No, just the English translation of surnames match
One theory is that when the Han twins were sold, they were described as sisters instead of sister&brother. After they went off the market, rumors continued to spread about two sisters, and the family didn't correct them bc who cares about two servants' reputation, it's not like anyone's letting them out. Shimmer, as an outsider, didn't get the memo, so he told YM the story based on this outdated information, while aunt Han obv knows she had a brother
You can also find Rong Yuan on nearby street, to the left (both are NMW fakes)
hi can i ask somethig
Title: [Urgent Petition] Request to Revert PvP Matchmaking Rollback and Separate Leaderboards
Dear Where Winds Meet Development Team,
The sudden decision to rollback the unified PvP (Arena) matchmaking between the KR/JP and TW/HK/MO servers has completely destroyed the PvP ecosystem for the KR/JP region. Considering the player base connecting via Steam in our region, this separation makes the game virtually unplayable.
- A Broken Matchmaking Experience
Queue times now regularly exceed 20 minutes. Even when a match is found, we are forced to fight the exact same opponent repeatedly for over an hour. In a game where combat depth relies on reading diverse weapon setups, martial arts, and parry timings, fighting a single person continuously ruins the core PvP experience. - The Logical Contradiction of Leaderboards
It is completely illogical to separate the matchmaking pools due to ping complaints, yet keep the PvP Leaderboard unified. It makes absolutely no sense to compete for ranking points against players we are physically restricted from fighting. - Unfair Operational Precedent
Caving to the "boycott" threats and ping complaints of one specific region, while ignoring the KR/JP players who accepted the ping difference for the sake of healthy queue times, is a blatant disregard for our community.
Our Demands:
• Revert to the unified Asia matchmaking pool immediately so we can actually play the game.
• If the matchmaking must remain separated, you MUST create an independent PvP Leaderboard exclusively for the KR/JP servers.
We expect a prompt and logical resolution.
Not the channel for this
oh sure! Just drop me a fr / dm, it's quite a lot to take in, but I'm definitely willing to help
it's not uncommon for ancient people who take in kids/people and let them cross-dress (mostly man cross dressing as a woman) to fulfill their "weird preferences" plus at the start of the quest Aunt Han's already mentioned she has a younger brother (as her father sold the twins because he lost in a bet, he may have lied that he had two girls instead of a girl & a boy)
Laufie do make videos too, but it's more onto the historical context, while wwmgirl's videos are highly recommended as he/she do explain the story very clearly. I do have another personal recommendation, her videos are in cn but she does have english subtitles if you're interested.
Please share the Chinese videos too. I’m interested
Search up 软软喵大人, she recently just uploaded a video about the people's wish quest

thats so sad :<
Actually zhang yichao and in general the zhang family never got imperial favour. After zhang yichao conquered entirety of hexi the imperial family was wary of potential rebellion as such never granted him title of governor. After zhang yichao elder brother died (he was the imperial hostage at the time) zhang yichao himself was summoned to Chang an to take his place a mere few years after his hexi conquest, essentially telling him to abandon his work
That's why in the story there was the great snake which was his selfish desire for power, and his childhood image which was his selfless desire to bring the hexi people back to tang empire fold and alleviating their suffering in hexi by seeking imperial support
He killed both sides of his desire eventually and returned to Chang an to be a hostage
Leaving little zhang his nephew to oversee the lands in his absence.
*zhang yichao
Yea correct my bad. Nevertheless, zhang huaishen died, and (not in story) hexi region was lost in a few years. In history he zhang yichao died shortly after in Chang an. Probably angered to death
Remember early part of the story where zhang yichao took that long walk in the sands conversing with the monk that told him to wait for his opportunity
The hexi Han people were suffering immensely and zhang Yi chao wanted to make a difference and waited and waited. From his early twenties he waited till 49 years old until tubo kingdom had their own discord and he conquered hexi
Yet after he left the territory, the entire region was lost. Wiping out his decades of dedication and waiting
If I were him I'd legit have a stroke
Yeah, he was really depressed to the point he forget almost everything, his soul was gone, both the kid, and the snake the moment he eliminated them, which is what makes his personality
Yea. It's really heart wrenching. His conversation with the monk he was young, vigorous, skilled in martial arts and military leadership. Yet he had to bide his time for decades. All the while watching hexi people suffer under tubo
Where Han people were enslaved from young to old until they were too elderly for labour, then they were blinded, and thrown into mass graves. He had to watch all that and bear it
The monk asked him. If he wanted to merely raise a ruckus, or make a difference. If he wanted to make a difference he had to wait
He dedicated his whole life in freeing the people from the tyranny rule, waiting half a decade just for the chance, but as long as the suspicions from the court remain, he could never truly return peace to the people, it's an endless cycle. The rebellions screw up things too much, the court also couldn't afford to take another failed gamble
Zhang Yi chao: "if opportunity does not come? What then?"
Monk: "u wait"
Zhang: "if it still does not come after waiting?"
Monk"u know the answer"
I can't imagine waiting till 49 years old myself tbh
LiangZhou as the wine cups, YiChao as the bow who truly made a difference and freed the people, but the imperial family only saw a huge snake that is going to turn against them anytime
Yea. Actually I was not familiar with the Chinese idiom snake in wine cup. But I can imagine the meaning
The Chinese language used is so poetic and archaic an overseas Chinese like me can barely keep up u have to read up in forums or watch some bilibili videos breakdown to keep up
Tons of stuff fly over my head all the time and after watch video I'm like "ohhhhhh"
Same here, I'm really really impressed with their literary levels, even those short descriptions hidden in items like accessories or even avatars have deep underlying meanings that when the gears clicked you would go "'woah, it's from here, things were like this"
Ya the depth of things are crazy. The story writing depth is immense. But then it's all real history so I suppose at least the writers don't have to do it from scratch. But it's so incredibly layered just that we don't really get the story payoff until practically the last few story cutscenes after u finish absolutely everything
Which probably less than 1% of the player base will get there
So I can imagine why there's so much negative feedback about the game until possibly the last chapter of every story arc
But the payoff is so huge... Like how it transition to the start menu image. My god..
I was completely lost for words
The process of threading everything and even if you reverse a quest multiple times you would always find something new that you missed off, and the way they thread in fictional content with historical content without one overpowering another is also mindblowing, I couldn't express how much I love immersing in the depths
Yea but one fail point I think is the fish fight. I think it's supposed to tie everything together but it's so poorly done tbh
I mean not tie em together but to provide a summary of hexi
But yea I barely noticed
not to mention the difficulty in translations between the languages with the culture differences, it's going to be difficult to understanding everything at once
Yea. Quite a few part in the story I noticed the subtitles remained in Chinese instead of being translated. I would be so frustrated if I couldn't read that
I did some research on the fish, it's talking about Tang dynasty itself rather than the summary of hexi, and most of the relation were hidden in the achievements itself. A carp is used to represent Tang because in cn 鲤(Li) & the imperial surname 李(Li) share the same pronounciation, so the carp soon has a honorific which is "Lord Crimson Carp 赤鲤公". The laws also forbid the people to capture / consume carps, and should be let free if they encounter carps. The fish also has a detail where there is a peony at the tail, as peonies are Tang's national flower.
We entered the dream as a fish, and watched the "fishes" fight. First stage is when Tang was at it's peak and blossoming, while in the second stage, the Azure Scale Envoy apperead which represented AnLuShan, marking the beginning of Tang's decline. In the third stage, the weather changed, a storm is coming. The azure carp would backstab us when we were exhausted, while the Lord Crimson Carp couldn't deal any damage to the azure carp even when using their ultimate skill. At the last stage, despite Tang's effort in recovering from the blow of the rebellion, the decline was still continuing, eventually the fish tank broke. The magnificent spirit of the Tang and the bustling glory of Chang'an are ultimately lost to the mists of time and history.
My guess to the small fish (which is us), is that we could be representing foreign forces & the commoners at the same time. In the first stage, the Lord Crimson Carp remains unfazed no matter how we attacked it, but in the last stage, the tank broke under the slightest force/attacks. When Tang was at it's peak, even though they were constantly at war with the foreign forces, and hidden public dissastisfaction exists, no one could shake the dominant position of Tang, but things took a turn after the AnShi rebellion.
There's even more to venture if we look into the achievement titles in cn, as they're all taken from famous poems that perfectly pictured the states & changes (tho the quest actually gives beta fish fight vibe imo XD)
Yea when I saw the achievements pop up one after another as I was fighting I had time to briefly read em I thought they just did a rush job with the summary. Can probably be done better as just a compendium text and put up a more coherent fight
I didn't think of carp tbh. I thought it was fighting fish but then what kind of fighting fish had a laser
I mean the name says carp but carp don't usually look like this
It's a fictional representation so I think the devs went creative with the design (by combining the 2 things that represent Tang, stated in cn news). The head and body definitely resembles a carp, with a flowy tail like a fighting fish that possess the splendor of that golden age when it unfurls its tail to dance, along with a peony hidden within the tails as the national flower. Honestly another thing I noticed is that global's news don't have annoucements like these whenever they introduce a new quest, boss etc, while cn they would give the players teasers and sometimes some basic info about the new updates.
What inner way should I use for Vernal umbrella and Snowparting blade?
Huhhh
P
Intresting 🤔👍
If wang qing is possibly our papi
Doesnt that make uncle jiang brother figure instead of father figure 😂
then li zuo is the mami
i see a cultured person (please censor the image next time it may be spoilers for other ppl)
Oh sssssorry
Is chu qingquan aunt han's bf?
yes
i wanna gaslight myself tho
Fr
all i wanna think about rn is qianye is obsessed with aunt han in a weird way
Chu Qingquan is the only character assumed to be dead that I actually want to be survive.
Fr I used to hope he was alive in my skipper era
||Then I redid story and yi dao said he ded ded|| 🫂
fahh yi dao 😭
Ohhhhh
There was some sorta smell on the fang bai dude, idk if its sweat or weed
But mc said yi dao would recognize the smell, and mc smelled it before somewhere in qinghe
What was the smell of?
i wanna explain but my dementia is activated
I'd like to think it was the smell of golden peach or mc's jade pendant unc jiang robbed
Still got no clue on how one peach became two pendants
[The painter said the golden peach couldn't be used cuz Chang'an was already destroyed. So he gave it to a different Fang Bai]
The scent is actually the scent of burning "buddha flowers", which is one of the "ingredients" needed to create dream puppets (if you recall the dungeon YiDao brought us into, where we encounter quite a few aureate pavilion memebers trying to create dream puppets). Lan Ao was infected by one of the dream puppet poison's varation (from the notes you picked up), so that Fang Bai isn't actually Fang Bai but rather Lan Ao in disguise you're seeing.
Nope, the devs have already confirmed that we're an orphan from the battlefield XD
Oof I got goosebumps suddenly remembering that shi
Who gave bro that pendant?
A mystery and one of the plot holes the devs has yet to fill in, gotta wait for more info regarding what happened in the zhongdu bridge war
||Li zuo's name was wang smtg in the part he was playing game with wang qing|| r8?
Wang Hou is a title/respecful addression to nobles/emperors (that you see in the chess match), just like how ppl call Wang Qing "general"
It's honestly unclear who else held the jade before Wang Qing, but it's also possible to think that the other "Fang Bai" is exactly Wang Qing himself (as the painter recognize the person through their vibe & personality). Nevertheless the more important question is what exactly Wang Qing is planning & did in the zhongdu bridge war, bc unlike in real history, Wang Qing already knew about the betrayal & it's pretty much a death match yet he still went & how the jade ended up at two kids.
How can i get cloud martial skills
There's absolutely no way the Zhenguan Jade would be entrusted to some random kid if said kid is just as important. Because with the nature of WWM being an online game, they will have to unravel more mysteries at some point.
at which point can we start cultivate immortality
When our hair falls off
Wow that's kind of depressing ngl
Well, it's really obvious
Daily hi
have you seen the current theories about that
what wang qing did at zdb i mean
(i don't know where to send this massage so sending in this lore chat,,so sorry)
can anyone give me all those reedeem codes?
Wwm girl have become goose girl!!!
pls tell me ruby came back alive
She has a grave
✊

This is jianghu.😢

dont worry you get scammer rat rubies later
i think you get other rubies in the cn regions too
Who is Lan Ao
The sick lady
Ai need code
Test
What’s jianghu? I thought it was where Kaifeng was but is it one of those we haven’t seen yet?
Jianghu is a general term. It’s, like, the equivalent of saying “the streets”
The life of a wandering hero, the common folk, the martial arts world
Can someone explain to me what happens at the beginning of the game like first I’m playing as some random guy with a baby and then I’m me like what the hell happened
u play as the baby, which grew up
the guy you played as in the beginning is your foster father
Anyone's here?
I need heal so I wrote on chat heal plz and I accepted and someone dude send the heal I accept and now I am die here for no reason can do anything help
When I click heal I keep rest up and die not cool who ever that healer was
Anyone can help me?
Get out of this channel this is for lore discussion
So where can I get a promotion?
I wonder how post-hexi story will top the peak of Qinchuan epilogue
All the stories r peak
Lan Ao you see in sunken city lake quest is || the daughter of Palm Strike Master, the person who is currently a lowly inspector in the quest timeline working for Zhu Youli the general you fight as a mini boss at the beginning. She is sick with dream puppet poison and would later join the sect Hollow Vale, shes also Fang Bai's girlfriend.||
I do see quite a few ||especially about analysing the ritual on the zdb & LiZuo's actual plans||
the sick lady with xiaopan, also Fang Bai's lover and the daughter of the Palm Strike Master (Lan ShouChi)
yupyup the theories makes sense to me too
LORE?? NO LORE. ONLY FIST. GIVE ME FIST!!!!!!
Literally everything makes infinitely more sense now thank you
||Especially combining with what LiZuo said (QuXia, the double meaning). certain close-ups of the soldier's state and how zdb is also being called as the dream puppet disaster. The harmonizer may be more than accident by design as a result of the various variables affecting the ritual
||
Jianghu is like in jjk, there common ppl who dunno about curse magic, then there curse sorcerer, if someone learning use curse magic they immediately step into jjk world.
Same like jianghu, there common ppl and there ppl knew kungfu and martial art

Wanted to ask something, why is it that in my solo world where ||moon maiden is, you know lady hideout beneath the lake|| Is drained but in multiplayer it is not?

Does anyone know when the next expansion will be realeased n what/wherell it be?
spicy broth bow - where can i buy that food?
Palm strike master not sage
Sage is fang bai's teacher
Lore monks I require wisdom
In current history and or era of the current game timeline.
Has Confucius been born yet or no. If not how long till he spawns in according to history of the game?
iirc conficius and confucianism was born/created around 500 bc, the current wwm story (excluding hexi) takes place around the very start of the song dynasty, ~1000 ad
daily
oops, just realized I made a typo
He is long dead during the game

yo hello i m new here
Where did the other girl end up?
this probly marked the 100th i saw this gif, never get old

Maybe around july. And i think the next map is hidden mountain
I was doing the scene of mission to friends to the end where u go inside the cave where painting of old painter is there and u want to view certain things
I went ahead a viewed blue pollen and when the question started the pollen disappeared
And now I'm not able to view it
So ChangAn is Wanderer's true home?
YM gathering ladies from each region
only by replay the quest\
no
like it was practically sinked by MC time/dream time
it make no sense to allow you to visit there
you can replay the quest (in future for global), just wait
hi have someone in here stuck and can login when was in online multiplayer mode ?
U're ded bro. Definitely dead
The Sunken City quest reminded me How much I love this game
No mc home is blissful retreat lol
Remember hexi is a dreamscape. And it's not mc's dream it's somebody elses
hi, I have the same problem, the screensaver just froze and won’t load anymore
my friend couldn’t log in either, are you from the Asian region by any chance?
But we see MC kid at the end of hexi main story. He was taken by Unlcle jiang but veiled women was abandonned by Li zuo
Ah u mean where mc was born?
Presumably near zhongdu I guess
But zhongdu is not Chang an
yes our is SEA server and we just login and logout a several time and now we can playing game normaly
they live happily ever after selling flatbread in chang an wdym
Oh really?
Finally, something happy
hello where is general chat? i have a info to ask about gvg
But for questions I would recommend you to use #🌱beginner-questions
ww les fr vous etes ou
are all parts of hexi released or any left?
All of them are out, including the final part which was added during Bujian Mountains in CN
She does a breakdown on the plot but imo it's not exactly what happened, because I remember the coin plotline being misinterpreted by her

No it's just an interpretation
changan is not only referring to the geographical location, if you read this pinned message (#📖lore-chat message) it will make more sense. YM was picked up from the Zhongdu bridge war, and the map will be roughly the area on top of qinghe
Interpretations can differ from ppl, but if you're looking for someone who sums up & threads up the plot & the relations it's definitely good (the devs love to leave open endings / holes that might or might not be filled, so some views may be different)
cool
Khans are currently a thing in game current history right?
I cant progress friend to the end quest in mustard hut.
No npc only yellow circle
No, there are no khans here at the moment, as that is a Mongol title.
It’s mainly the Han people and the Khitans. which have other titles
Yes, it’s for deeper depression about all lore
yea even in history.. historians tended to be really obscure and indirect when they said things (and some things didn't survive) so there's always room for interpretation
Like Zhang Huishen's death, some people knew but they weren't telling.. what they knew and what they wrote down were two separate things.. there's the implication that someone in the family (possibly Huaiding, Yichao's son) did it but we'll never know cos no one really wanted that recorded for posterity 🙂
Depends on which Khans you mean.. the Uyghur Khaganate controlled the area east of the Hexi corridor at that time. Aynur comes from there. The "famous" Khans (the Mongols under Genghis Khan) would not show up until hundreds of years later.
Qinchuan the best map so far
I see

.
Fr so peaceful
Can someone help me defeat Wucan in 180 seconds?
Since the game's currently in year 962. If we're in year 963, we're gonna help Big Zhao destroy Jingnan
jiangnan will probably be the next big city after kaifeng
Jiangnan is the location we're meant to be going after Bujian Mountains from the same questline, there's a certain NPC who's gonna come with us and I feel like Global should get the Blissful Retreat base before that
whatever the capital of southern tang is will be made into a city
Yeah but you see. ||Chen Zixi shows at the end of that questline and I think he and his little disciple will go with us to Jiangnan.||
Godmother? Aunt Han?
I suppose so, the translations are always off I guess 🙂
#🌱beginner-questions ? Also imma watch your channel, masked troupe is not easy but you do it for a living
I just finished Chapter 3
it might have been the best story I have ever encountered in a game so far
so many complications yet everything attaches together towards one goal to reach home
honestly this game deserves way more attention than its getting rn
Yeah, it's to differentiate the ways YM address Aunt Han, in this case YM uses 干娘 (which means godmother/second mother figure that's not biologically related), while in the painter quest YM used 养母 (adoptive/foster mother) our YM misses their aunt a lot

.
when will we get to replay the entire qinchuan quest?
Want to ask, what date inkbound sect will release?
We need a future expansion to replay the life of Tian Ying
Did they change the where winds meet voice actor for the female MC in hexi???? her voice sounds deeper.
What the deal with northern mountain platue, what with that little girl, is this still same story with the friend to the end quest?
I am looking for two players. Can they help me with some good clips so that I can make content?
DM me if you're interested.
we love lore

Hello
i just know for sure the guanyin lady and the anliuli guy is gonna be a tragic love story
this is gonna make me depressed
Why does Fang Bai appear after he should have died in sunken city lake? During the running cutscene
In the cinematic after completing the light/dark surge, who is the first guy that picks up the golden peach off Guo Xin, walks it through the snow storm and drops it off a cliff to Zhang Yichao?
Hey all
Eh I never heard my character refer to her as 干娘 before but 养母 more than once I think
I'm using male character tho
Idk if female might have different voiceline
That's the guy u play in the tavern filling out the travel document
Can't remember the name rn
Anyone having issues not being able to change seasons on PS5?
I just filled it out quickly haha
SOmeone can spoil me with "spoil alert" || || if the protagonist ||really come to qinchuan|| ?
Is there any way to replay the qinchuan quest
what is a harmonizer?
Good evening everyone
Can I have e the same account on pc and mobile?
Yes, just log your main acc to game acc/Google acc/ twitter and etc in the settings
Ty
Whatever happen to deer saint
ym used 干娘during that exploration quest in liangzhou (the msg I replied) tho
myb just a small detail that we missed out, idt the gender affects the lines, but from the increase in frequency of ym referring to her as 养母 shows how much YM is actually missing her
if you look back at your dark surge fragments, you would realized some parts of the text were highlighted in orange (his name & story were filled, mainly in the first & second part), he's Lan He, a masked troupe disciple that went out from chang'an to retrieve the peach
Hey y'all so when you get the map switch for Liangzhou, it says past and fallen. Is fallen the future/current state or an alternate timeline kind of thing?
Its past and further past
❤️
People with special abilities like wind sense, talk with ghosts, foresight, etc. basically YM has the ability unlike common folks.
Are we harmonizers or does the jade fragment contain the memory’s?

hi
Think of YM/BaiChuYu as salt and the world as water, YM is basically compatible & able to resonate with all beings
both, YM & BaiChuYu are the exceptionally talented ones that got backed up with the ability of the jade, which is to amplify their talent and act like a memory hard drive that records everything
Peak, do we still have our half? Ik uncle jiang took it but can’t remember if we got it back
No, unc jiang still have the jade
unfortunately we don't know why Jiang needs it but it's safe to say that it is in better hands in his than ours
yea no doubt for sure
especially when mc just 16 now still considered teenager
surely will miss his mother very much

can't wait future story
Yea we would have probably had it scammed from us the second we walked into Kaifeng
so true
Does Kaifeng palace push the story forward? I remember hearing about aunt Han when it dropped in CN. But Ik it’s also a flashback for big Zhao. No spoilers 🙏
Indeed!
Idk about Imperial Palace but I do believe the sections are in the present, dunno if we go to the past with the exception of Big Zhao flashback
Oh okay thats great to know. Honestly very excited to see aunt Han and uncle Jiang again
I do know that the scene you see her in the Imperial Palace trailer IS a Flashback bc you can go inside that same tower and investigate what happened there
but other than that we are kinda left in the dark as to the significance of its inclusion

Plus you get to see big Zhao as a rlly cute plump tiger
@scenic obsidian can anyone help me understand skinny arhat ending quest.
So skinny arhat is Worthy one buddha reincarnation something like that. So the scholar ask us to give wuzhen(aka skinny arhat) scrap clothes as symbol of gratitude for protecting Buddhist them from mutun. Wuzhen doesn't want to accept that he say he not worthy. The we search who worthy. Then zhang yichao. Zhang yichao doesn't want to accept.... Then we figure out skinny arhat is people is all the people in liangzhou who work together to protect. We want to put the rope at temple if i not mistaken. Then wuzhen say now we in peace skinny arhat is no longer a skinny arhat they just take their original role back monk is monk clothes maker is clothes maker coppersmith is copper Smith.
So we meet scholar the scholar say take that rope with us.
Then we found beggar ask for rope because he cold. MC say you're skinny arhat. The beggar say what is arhat i am skinny.
So we give the rope to beggar then mc say. "I understand it now, i understand it now".
What does mc understand blud. Please tell me if anyone know
You get thrown into an illusion by the guy in green playing the flute
Maybe skinny arhat is friend we made along the way
Basically from what I can understand, it about you giving back to the community.
The community was the one that help out the monk to reach to Chang An which is why he refused the cloth in the first place because by right, it’s should be the common folks, not him.
Now it is peaceful thus what use is the cloth place on a statue for people to worship at.
The begger is represented as the common folks thus in a sense, you are giving them back the clothes that represented so much hardship to bring the message to Chang An of liangzhou is now part of the tang
Basically that
燕云们,好久不见!
我想知道柏家是哪来的?
怎么楚玉的姓名是柏,不是李?
Is it fair to say tian Ying was us before us?
I didn’t mean to reply to that message btw
Or is tian Ying more of an anti hero?
It's shares quite a similar theme with the One Leaf, One life (gold leaf quest) where they portray the key to a plan/policy success is actually on the commoners, their efforts may not be as well known as those heroes or figures, commoners also play a huge role in stability. Skinny arhat was born from pain/suffering (representing the commoners who lived through the pressure), and was eliminated when those in need were assisted. That's why YM understood how the "Skinny Arhat" isn't just someone/one person who achieved great deeds, like the monk or general YiChao, but rather the commoners who contributed their strength on their own ways.
LiZuo named her baichuyu to honor LiuQingYi, Bai (柏, pine) bc it represents longevity & stability, if compared with 柳 (Liu, Willow), Liu is much more fragile). While ChuYu could mean that his QingYi is as valuable as a jade Not sure what language should I reply in
My knowledge of the game lore is not too good but uh I would not say he is like us before cuz I think he is already well established in the jianghu by then but I would agree that tian Ying is an antihero cuz he did lead the death of many jianghu warriors to ensure the tang envoy make his way to the kithan.
Do u think he’s still alive after the fight with us?
|| yes, there a cutscene of him applying a disguise before heading to the southern tang area if I could remember correctly. Plus it would be strange for some random young jianghu wanderer to off a guy of his skill level||
了解!柏就是双关语为李祚继续想念柳青衣。谢谢
Do we learn this in hexi?
From the dark surge qinchuan yes
And our experience from qinghe, kaifeng, and hexi
Harmonisers can do that. Huajing is OG example. Then we have veiled lady and YM
Ohh okay. I heard this term first time 🤔
It honestly fits the sect well, given that 满江红 is a poem expressing loyalty & determination to recover lost lands / contribute to the nation, which is also part of the reason why the 9 prisoners established the sect
I suppose it will be better when they fix the empty descriptions of the dark surge, it does give info about the harmonizers ~~but now it's empty ~~
oh okay. what is dark surge now
Yeah! This lore entertained me so much
The completion of dark surge shows us who we really are and what is golden peach
It was also throrized only certian bloodlines have this power.
Safe to say zhang huaishen is our great grand pa
Each map has their own bright (main quests you're doing) & dark surge (hidden story), if you go to journal -> tales & echos, you can view all of them
Li Zuo / (mostly wangqing) Wang Qing are more famously rumoured as our father XD tho the devs confirmed, YM is an orphan from the battlefield
Whose family lived at the zhongdu bridge… should live near farms, not bridges
Aintnoway YM is wangqing’s baby. Who the heck brought babies to war

Hi can someone tell me why i have higher ms (ping) when i paly in Co-op and how can i fix it?
at times like that people never know when a war will break, one day they're still peacefully enjoying life probably at the same day war will begin
though, that doesn't stop players from being a bit too imaginative/creative when resources were limited
oh okay\
i see
The game likes to give us Wang Qing POV just to screw us over
Remember, becoming a father at 50s isn't strange at all

If different maps have different "MCs" in their stories, like qinghe being Tian Ying and kaifeng being Zhu Yu, Wang Qing would be the "MC" threading the story of wwm (through the continuation of legacy, not only when he was still alive), he's the devs "selfishness", in terms of making this general who was almost forgotten in history to stay in wwm's stories, given that the little wanderer's story also started from the battle that Wang Qing is destined to lose.
This came from an official news record when the game was featured in Netease's Online Conference
So its like how Dragonball XenoUnivrse had those "what if stories and outcomes".
Except they're keeping someone alive, having AI of historic figures sorta fuze with that outcome.
Not to mention he was rescued by uncle Jiang from prison. He probably recognised who Mc is halfway in the fight like big bro Zhao recognise mc sword style lol
🥹
COOL
Tbf the YM is quite strong like no joke
Maybe not on the level of heaviest hitters but in wuxia terms, a rising talent of young dragon
Yeah, wait till our cloud step upgrade
T6?
Honestly I wonder do you think bujian mountains will be next like either next week or the week after or imperial palace then hidden mountain
bujian mountain is hidden mountain
we're getting imperial palace next

is there a youtuber who posted all parts of hexi story, that i can rewatch?
Guys pls why can I not complete the Lunar Eidolon boss fight quest? Every time I get the boss health down, it disappears after a cutscene where I draw a sword to strike.
will we get to see Weiyang in chapter 4 of where winds meet?

Qianye is actually aunt han's brother, he took the face of Qianye and pretended to be Qianye.
He dispises Aunt han for leaving him just like that
Anyone know when we getting fist?😅
It would be epic ngl
Knowing more about ember of east lore would be interesting with the map Weiyang
Might take some time
And please use #💬martial-pavilion or #🌱beginner-questions for this kind of question
So if Hexi and its region are set in the past , why are we getting refferences to characters from present in Qinchuan?
Those references are from mc's own memories and experiences and desires and imagination
So the stories we experience in Qinchuan are still set in the past?
Yeah
What dynasty sun tzu alive?
wha?
Hey everyone, does anyone know when bujian mountain will be released? Thanks
Ask in #💬martial-pavilion
Not here
wondering the same too
It's a recurring a theme of the game, why is wwm called so (in cn, 燕云十六声). Sounds are a key setting, and sounds can be heard at the intersection of winds. When winds blow through different "holes" (represented by the world's nature, whether it's the earth, mountains, living or dead beings etc), different sounds/rhythms can be made (风吹孔窍而成籁). Winds represent the world setting (amidst chaos where stability and peace may be broken by war/chaos anytime), while the nature, and living beings (the characters, including YM) are the wind instrument that produces different tones & sounds (different people, different lives). YM is able to listen to all these sounds, that's why you keep encountering ghosts, dreams or "going back" to the past, YM is naturally sensitive and is able to respond to them, making them the harmonizers (in cn,应律之人, harmonizing is one of their abilities, if you translate the cn term directly to english, it means "The one who resonates to the sounds")
That's why you would notice, a lot of characters actually share similarities with each other, even with YM, but their lives were significantly different
How do I blur a spoiler portion of a question I want to ask
Well I forgot the lore with shimmer of South. ||Is he aunt Hans brother? And is half of him qianye?||
To spoiler, do | | this | | but remove the spaces between the pairs of |
Sun Tzu lived during the Eastern Zhou dynasty (Spring and Autumn period)
Is this before 3 kingdom?
Yes! Eastern Zhou Dynasty is divided into two period( the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period), then it goes into Qin dynasty, and then Han dynasty, and then Three Kingdoms Period
Shimmer of South is the ruler of Southern Tang, the two kids you see in his quest on the chess board is aunt han & her brother
||Her brother is half of Qianye? Is that him during the 2nd phase of the fight with her?||
those are the more probable theories we have, it's not confirmed yet, qianye is most probably the noblewoman from liang family
Thanks I got it. I’m happy there’s still a lot more of the story to see
I wanted to know more context about unfated tian. I know he’s our uncle, and guided us a lot. But did he also grow up with aunt Han and uncle jiang? Was he a martial artists and anything else about him
Tian Ying didn't grow up with aunt Han and uncle Jiang. He was a legendary swordsman. In 936, after Shi Jingtang ceded the Sixteen Prefectures of Yanyun to the Khitans, the Central Plains remained ravaged by war, and countless common people were displaced from their homes. The young Tian Ying fled alongside his younger brother, Tian Qi, eventually arriving at a village by Baoshan Lake in Qinghe. There, they were taken in by a blacksmith and survived by working at his forge.
Hold on
Unfated tian is tian ying?
No, Unfated Tian is older than Tian Ying
Oh wait I got it wrong
Sorry I got it wrong, I though you are saying Tian Ying.
Tian Ying is 29 years old at present
That’s really young lol. For reference how old are uncle Jiang and aunt Han?
Unfated Tian should be 天不收. Sorry, I play on the Chinese servers, so I’m not completely sure about the official English translation.
Uncle Jiang is 35 years old as of year 962 and Aunt Han is around her 40s
Oh np. I meant the other npc from blissful retreat. He escorted us in the moon goddess quest
But I learnt that he works for aunt Han. And also was hired by tian ying
Unfated Tian is actually a woman
Unfated Tian’s exact age isn’t really clear. I only know that her birthday is September 28th.
And she’s had a crush on Aunt Han for a long time.
She did a face swap? Because I remember seeing a beard
Aww but is aunt Hans husband still alive?
She disguised herself as a boy.
Aunt Han's husband is Chu Qingquan, he was killed in a battle.
On the way back, while Yi Dao was carrying him, Chu Qingquan stopped breathing completely.
That’s so sad and I wish uncle tian saw yi dao before he died. But recently I saw a wild theory that ||aunt Han also saved yi dao from the fire with us.|| but I don’t believe that. Anyway for now I’ll wait for a happy reunion
And his body felt in the river. Uncle is so damn daed 😔 .
I was crying so hard I could barely breathe at the time
He is the only "dead character" I actually want to be secretly survive.
Poor samoyed WoH uncle.
I think Yi Dao is dead. If you choose Yi Dao when asking an old Jianghu companion to help you fight a boss, it even shows Yi Dao’s spirit.
Did you see it in a cut scene on CN server or is this lore from dark surges?
It’s in Yi Dao’s dialogue lines.
I kinda messed up a certian story part either because i went to fast or something, but involved lot of politics.
So guy in whitecrown fortress is brother of another govener in clearjade market, am i getting this right?
Then brother died, (one in whitecrown, and from what im getting at is the other went on military crusade to re-capture everything but the court of emperor were being d--k heads about it and not giving him the title and land that he secured?
But only gave him two peices of what he did?
Little kid is possbily brother that died and became the living brother strength and we ended up killing living brother inner demon which was the snake?
and i didnt quiet understand one journey with the guy againg with the monk.
This one
Not sure if related to the two brothers or not
You mean the “此身归唐” storyline?
if that apart of the two brother then yea?
unless its two different dynasty at that point
🤔
I know foretress was held by the tang
There're other helpers on the signpost tho and they aren't dead
If I remember correctly, the child we met in the Market was actually a young Zhang Yichao—you could also understand him as the symbol of Zhang Yichao’s original aspiration. When he was a child, Zhang Yichao witnessed the country falling into chaos and war, and he longed to bring peace back to the people. That is why he later resolved to reclaim the Hexi region.
Yidao is definitely dead yea but probably don't use the signpost to gauge
Makes sense
Like odd form of enlightment
But by the time he was in his thirties, people had begun to doubt his abilities, and he was never given the chance to fully realize his ambitions. So he asked the monk when he would be able to fulfill his ideals. The monk, in turn, asked him: was he trying to rebel, or to bring peace? Zhang Yichao realized that what he truly fought for was the well-being of the people and the recovery of lost lands, so that they could live in peace and stability.
Makes sense.
he was really restless.
Many years later, Zhang Yichao finally got the opportunity and successfully reclaimed Hexi, returning it to the Tang Dynasty. However, at that time the emperor was weak and incompetent, unable to recognize Zhang Yichao’s loyalty, and instead saw him as a potential threat because of the military power he held.
The Emperor refused to grant him the legitimate title of Jiedushi(governor) of Hexi, effectively branding him as a rebel. Zhang Yichao could not accept such humiliation of his loyalty, and resentment gradually took root in his heart, becoming a lingering knot in his mind.
Until the day he grew old, he heard the voice of his younger self questioning him: “Are you fighting for the people, or for empty reputation?”
Zhang Yichao then awakened to the truth—he had always fought for the people.
Mm what about the whole brother thing?
It mentions two brothers and one got sent to be a hostage
The general of Whitecrown fortress was another man, Guo Xin. He and Zhang Yichao were not brothers, but they shared the same ideals.
Ah so now its coming together bit more.
His brother was an imperial hostage. Kept at the capital to keep him in line
His brother died. And the court summoned him to take his brother's place
That's why u have the snake and the boy
Yes
At that point he had just finished conquering hexi. Imagine waiting from 20yo to 49yo and finally embarking and completing your lifelong wish and quest then instead of rewarding u with governor title, the court demands u leave your post and leave behind everything u ever worked for
Historically, Guo Xin was a general who died for his country in 808 AD. Zhang Yichao, on the other hand, can be seen as a successor to the ideal of defending the nation’s territory. Zhang Yichao was born in 799 AD and died in 872 AD.
at end of it so far it seems like he choose to fight, seeing as he took up a sword again?
He picked up the sword to kill the lil kid who represent one of his desires
After that I don't remember any pick up sword part
Interesting, thankyou all for explaining this to me.
Yeah, Zhang Yichao cut away his inner demons and decided to accept the emperor’s arrangement, returning to Chang’an in exchange for the stability of Hexi. Later, his nephew—Zhang Huaishen—succeeded him in continuing to govern and defend the Hexi.
I saw some Uruks in a shattered library in the sky. Are they supposed to represent foreign invaders or something?
in my point of view they are like Bleach's hollows 😄
Yes, they represent the Tibets at that time but devs didn't want to offend so they made them raptors instead of men
Instead of fight, it's actually submitting to fate & eliminating what makes up his personality all this time, the sword was later passed down to his nephew. There's nothing much that can be done when the court's distrust never fades, and it only got worse when his nephew HuaiShen took over
Makes sense and also kinda sound horrbile for the nephew.
Uh i just got done with the Lian Daozi story and it confused the f--k out me
Or at least start of it?
apart of it makes me think he related to Zhang Yichao
LianDaozi and the paper moon quest (2nd main quest for LiangZhou), took place at the same time with the Death of the Governor quest, the two are not related, but LianDaoZi's great grandfather is XiaoLian (Lian Er Lang) from the burlap sack quest

Yes she kind of is lol
I would recommend you wwm girl's videos if you're interested (she posted one combining the two main quests in LiangZhou), or 软软喵大人's (she posted separate videos for the 2 quests, and she has english subtitles)
Hellooo idk if this is the right channel to ask, but I’m just wondering, if I go to hexi before starting kaifeng main story (i’ve finished qinghe), how would it affect my story experience? I really want to go there to unlock the inner ways for umbrella+rope dart but I also care a lot about experiencing the overall story 😅
it doesnt affect your story experience
I'm new to this game and it's so overwhelming 😭 there's tons of stuff.
daily text
Hexi TLDR; prelude of story
Yea I mostly watch 喵大人 its very good
veiled woman is ym parallel?
tragic😭
Her name is inspired by Liu Qingyi, Li Zuo raised her as a weapon than a human
YM and Chuyu are both Harmonizers (they also possess ||half of the jade aka golden peach||). Chuyu was taken in by Li Zuo bc she resembles his dead lover but neglected her, YM was supposedly taken by him too if it weren't for Uncle Jiang. So yeah, it's like two sides of the same coin.
They were picked up from two different locations in the same bridge
i see.. so the angle where ym is probably li zuo's child is now debunked?
That would just complicate things a lot since some theorist in CN tend to gravitate towards Wang Qing over Li Zuo and melon being a sliver of hope from the dead soldiers is some feng shui bs
But then again I tend to prefer mundane and original lore from the writers having an alternate take on history
Like they gave a massive uplift on Wang Qing and turned him to a tragic hero (based)
Might even make it better since actually I think Hexi is historically before Kaifeng (isn't it?)
devs confirmed, ym is an orphan, they're neither LiZuo nor Wang Qing's child

Need help
This is not the right channel buddy
there's a channel for this #card-exchange-hub
They only said orphan found in Zhongdu Bridge, they didn't say the jade was entrusted randomly to them
Why everyone after fang bai, and how fang bai have the peach?
If the baby (our melon) was found wrapped then it's a suggestion the baby was not just born today
What Wang Qing did in the zhongdu bridge war, what major events happened (other than what we know from the Twisted Destiny encounter), it's honestly a question mark. What I can say is that, Wang Qing as the jade holder, definitely had some sort of plan in trying to break through whatever is going on in the war it will be complicated to explain, but the theories we have now are slowly getting filled & verified at least ||which very much explains why the hell a baby and a kid is present and even survived the battle||
fang bai got the peach from the palm strike sage, everyone in qinchuan is basically after the peach, the moment they caught wind that fang bai has it, it's natural that everyone would come after him
Palm strike sage and palm strike master are different person?
long been debunked since the CN recent updates
tho it hasn't been clear how YM as a baby got the jade, there's someone who gave him that jade def
||The Hutuo campaign gives a bit of new info about Wang Qing and turns out he actually chose to take the poison to not only hold the bridge and keep Jiang Yan away but to not lose to a bet with Li Zuo as known in Hexi's ending||
||He also did it to spite Li Zuo's offer to become immortal||
Despite the question marks, it's not hard to notice that aside from the whole jade, harmonizing, sounds theme, the other theme is exactly longevity. A lot of people were obsessed over immortality, like Sun BuQi (who got obsessed over it thinking it could eliminate the suffering from illnesses), and LiZuo (to build a nation of pure kindness, he aimed to achieve this by implementing dream puppets/immortality), even commoners too (who once came to wraith village to seek for ways to achieve immortality, or in hexi's everdeer story) and more. These all represent physical immortality, and it comes with a price which is you'll lose your emotions and sanity, the qualities that make a person "alive".
Wang Qing took a different turn, which is spiritual immortality, achieved through the jade (like a memory hard drive) & YM/BaiChuYu (who brought us to experience the past that got buried). It can be seen during the chess match, from the first match when they were still close friends, in the second deviating in terms of ideals and at last, knowing there's absolutely nothing that can be done for the death match, Wang Qing decided to become one of the pieces, entering the dead match not to reverse the outcome, but to interfere with something, so that Jiang, and as much people can stay alive. As long as there are surviors, as long as someone is able to respond to the calls of those beings, his story (and the others who was forgotten) will be told and known by the future generations, thus being "immortal".
Why ppl think the peach can give immortality, where tjis rumour start
it came from the jianghu. since something so valuable and mysterious where only very few know about it, people would speculate a lot just like what we were doing now when wwm still haven't filled in the plotholes XD, my message above just explained how the jade actually achieves immortality but a different kind
there's also the theory that it can make the wearer see the future
that's why Jiang got a small glimpse of YM facing Li Zuo
There is a theory we are going south on a new update after we finish the quest on north
no images?
not a theory
in cn qingzhou just came out, but in second half of 2026 will be Jiangnan (the south)
i want to share a burlap sack summary for checking it, but links dont work
...?
Do the story related or different burlap etc.. like burlap with the two pivebirds
Can we buy stronger weapons from the shop or stronger weapons are unlocked as the game progresses?
I'm sorry for the noob question. I'm new to game and there's a ton of stuff in there to do
One lore question: what is the obsession with white hair in Chinese lore? is it related to nobility? or power?
I really want to understand why gacha hair is always white or extremely light color
Honk honk
I think it's popular trope in cdramas, white hair = powerful entity that not belong to the earthly world (fairies, demons,....)
Thanks for the info! ❤️
Also just rule of cool in media in general: you can see this in Japanese and western fiction among others as well. Edit: it can also signify trauma, aka Marie Antoinette Syndrome. Zheng E would be a likely example, since we saw him with dark hair as a child.
One more question: That kpop/cpop/jpop facial features is just modern take right? that is not related to chinese lore right?
Pure aesthetics, yeah
ok got one more question
That ghostly skin/ yuki onna type skin
is that also related to "powerful entity that not belong to the earthly world (fairies, demons,....)" or is that modern thing?
It can be supernatural or the application of makeup that was fashionable in certain eras, depending on the character or figure. In the case of the Moon Goddess quest, and the individual seen there, it could also have to do with being out of the sun for a long time. I would say let context help you decide what fits.
If I recall one of the npc voice lines in Kaifeng comments on white makeup catching on lately (English dub)
so mostly its a makeup trend
For non-supernatural characters I think the mundane answer will often fit. These things do have foundations in their historical context (you can look at paintings and illustrations from this time period) while also having artistic embellishment/interpretation by the devs, is how I see it.

from dev's perspective, it makes sense, pictures used to have lighter skin painted for humans
For players, it just modern trend right?
something like this
If you were to search "Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period art/fashion" I think you'd find it more illustrative. It's not all one or the other, but a blend of historical and modern stylization, I'd say.
The graphics aren't hyperrealistic (which honestly I prefer) for example, but they do feel convincing for the setting. For cases of stark white pallor, we see both supernatural examples and have references to the makeup of the time, and if you do a search you'll see that white makeup and how that looked. If you're asking whether characters are all presented 100% historically accurate, I would think stylization and artistic flair are certainly involved as befits the medium and genre. Others are more qualified to comment in depth, but wuxia has a fantasy feel to me so I keep that in mind.
I think its ok for devs to take some artistic freedom, the story is heavily inspired but not exact ancient lore
Yeah, I feel the same way
thanks for the info ❤️ @lofty hinge
It’s partly a newer visual trope. In older wuxia (the Jin Yong era), a young person with white hair usually meant something dramatic had happened, extreme trauma, forbidden cultivation, heartbreak, demonic possession, loss of control or overwhelming grief. White hair symbolized damage, sacrifice, or inner collapse. A young person suddenly turning white haired was meant to feel tragic and unsettling, not glamorous (for example, The Romance of the White Hair Maiden).
Today, modern audiences often read white hair as “cool” before “tragic.” Over the past 15–20 years, especially with the rise of Xianxia dramas, gaming aesthetics, anime influence, and CGI fantasy, white hair gradually shifted into a visual shorthand for transcendence, immense power, emotional detachment, or an otherworldly aura. The symbolism changed from “this person has suffered” to “this person is extraordinary”.
To summarize it all, a lot of it comes down to marketable aesthetics. Young white haired characters became visually iconic and easy to sell, they stand out immediately in posters, games, cosplay, and fan art. What once symbolized trauma or corruption gradually evolved into a stylized premium fantasy look.
Wow that is amazing information! it makes sense! 💯 Thanks!
I have seen White hair used for demons in other lores too so yeah i can see the same in Chinese lore
"What once symbolized trauma or corruption gradually evolved into a stylized premium fantasy look." ..
this is soo true
I stopped watching or reading Wuxia or Xianxia after the 2000s. It’s changed quite a lot since then, and it now feels like a completely different genre to me, one I just can’t fully immerse myself in.
Basically, I’m old 😝
thats perfectly fine.. for me this whole genre is new.. i am noob with this genre
Coming from broader fiction (I can't speak with any authority on wuxia or xianxia), white hair does still get used for trauma symbolism, but the audience itself will interpret it as a coolness upgrade even if they see the torment/loss that caused it. It can be meaningful but a lot of people seem to disregard that part.

Yep thats true
Hey guys im new!
Hi new
Welcome
I'm new as well
Hi
Why can't I top up my Where Winds Meet account with money from my Steam account?
umm wrong channel
Ya true that
Hi
hi
Heyyy
Hmm
yo
if anyone wants nitro or account cosmetics for lower lmk
I was wondering if I could find enough Global players to recreate the 7 freaks of Jiangnan or better known in the east as the 7 Eccentrics for Roleplay purposes,Someone suggested that each leader of each sect to be used as models for this if anyone is interested in bringing one of the saddest most harrowing tales in the Wuxia world with me PM me please
Is qinchuan the final chapter?
More regions with more story will be released in the future
Check if the region restricted
One thing is pure aesthetics, or symbolization of power like some of them mentioned (or even more unconventional reasons), but if it's on the characters, it's portraying a famous saying 一夜白发 (Hair turning white over a night). It usually means when one experienced heavy trauma/pressure that it was so bad until their hair turned white really fast(means becoming old as well)
final chapter of Hexi
not final chapter of the game
famous saying really reflects truth too... i have seen so many people that start early white hair growth.. and its all due to intense stress
yeah i think i can understand now the whole concept of white or light color hairs in lore
hi
is Zhu Wen the guy with the fancy armor sitting on the chair while there is a servant stuttering on stage? in the first cutscene of Sunken City Lake
That's ZhuWen's adopted son Zhu YouLi, the quest would introduce him
So im learning about this Yuri story now with blind Cao Lady and im trying to figure out, if this past event has any meaning to our current player.
Didnt it zhu youli
Just proceed to the end of hexi & you would realize qinchuan wrapped up everything, ym also developed a lot thanks to this dream, it made them see through themselves
the papermoon story has a lot of depth as well
How do I get to that screen with artifacts, that shows the irl stuff
found it, and also thanks for explination!
is there more story after paper moon quest? or is it the latest
Yes and it's tying everything together only question is with all politics was current emperor around (fat zhaou) or no
Qinchuan is the last expansion of Hexi (hopefully)
The main quest for Hexi is over, as for the Lost Chapter quests...
Qinchuan quest is about the Painter guy
Qinchuan is not the part of main quest?
The Hexi quest follows up from Qinghe while the actual main quest follows up from Kaifeng
now i am more confused 😭
hexi is a 3 part map, jade gate pass->liangzhou->qinchuan. The main quests are in different individual stories for each quest, so if you are asking about the continuation of Paper Moon, then nope, the story of the girls ends there. Qinchuan would feature different characters
I don't get who are these childern and old man and my guy drinking wine to hallucinate them
but qinchuan also has a main quest right?
different person's life?
how big is qinchuan quest then?
technically speaking, it ends at paper moon, but you can see qinchuan's main quest as "friends, to the end" since it threads all the other quests in qinchuan
does it conclude other stories of hexi? like whole veiled lady thing and all
Can anyone tell me how to get the special effect , when we use the thundercry shield effect by pressing the q button. I seen some player have that effect.

So i noticed lot of artifacts from history are either in France or British museums is this from them raiding places and junk throughout history?
Just started qinchuan's main story, is there a reason the moon shattered or will that be explained later in the story?
There's a joke about the british museum I wanted to say but I'm afraid they took it too
wow
The moon means home
And when you arrived, it shattered, signaling that you're too late, and chang'an is already destroyed
#📖lore-chat message, the moon shattered means the "home" everyone was missing and also the hope towards peace and stability is long gone. The moon is a major theme of the game as well, and if you're interested the quoted msg is a brief summary of the moon's symbolization
hi
Hello
Parallel to the heartbreaking sacrifice of the Burlap Sack is the story of the Anxi Army and their legendary commander, General Guo Xin.
A direct descendant of the famous general Guo Ziyi, Guo Xin was tasked with defending the Anxi Protectorate after it was completely cut off from the Tang court. Known as the Last Grand Protector, he guarded the Whitecrown Fortress with an army of loyal veterans. These men aged into their 50s and 60s, their hair turning silver as they stood watch in the desert, holding the line for an empire that would never send orders, and reinforcements that would never arrive.
is this correct?
haha
can anyone explain me this and liangshu's melody quest stroy guyss
hi
wild
So if my draw not lucky what i get with 1 dollar then
Nothing it's a weekly draw depends on the entry if 20 entry 2 battle pass will be given too 2 lucky.. it's as a lottery thing.. but you can get a chance to win BP for only 1$ risk per week
Yes this is lore chat
Could someone recommend a site where I can get a summary of the lore? I have a vague idea of what it is but I don’t really get it lol
Huh I swear I got a ping
idk about site but i got all the lore from wwm girl on youtube
A large number of exhibits in British and French museums were acquired during the colonial period. This is particularly true of British museums when it comes to Asia.
The East India Company, which operated as a militarised trade monopoly, played a significant role in this. The Opium Wars were especially impactful — the British essentially forced Burma and parts of China to purchase opium from them in exchange for silver and artefacts.
As for French museums, a significant portion of their collections from Africa and the Caribbean likely falls into the same category.
Yes, it’s true
But you need to mentioned that Guo Xin lived before history about two generals, he lived in times after rebellion of An Lushan.
ohh
I can write it more detailed
okay
cant wait for the announcements on may 15th
General Guo Xin from the game was a real historical figure. Following the An Lushan Rebellion, Tibetan forces seized the Hexi Corridor and completely cut off the Anxi Protectorate from the Tang court. Guo Xin held the defense for decades without reinforcements or orders — the fact that his soldiers’ hair turned white on watch is a matter of historical record, and stands as a testament to their loyalty. The emperor eventually reestablished contact and granted him the title of Grand Protector, but never sent any real aid. Guo Xin’s ultimate fate remains unknown — he simply vanishes from the chronicles after 808.
In the game, passing through the gates takes us 70–80 years forward into the Late Tang period. This is where we meet Zhang Yichao and Zhang Huaishen, who devoted their lives to reclaiming the Hexi Corridor. By that time, Lanzhou had changed hands multiple times between the Tang and the Tibetans — the city had known both occupation and destruction. Zhang Yichao launched an uprising against the Tibetan occupation in 848 and restored the region to Tang rule, but his nephew Zhang Huaishen was betrayed and killed by a relative in the 890s — just years before the final fall of the Tang dynasty in 907.
what announcement
ok thanks
what's the reaction ?
I just miss clicked
lol okay
i have seen the burlap sack and lianghzou melody, about to do paper moon. but how do i connect all these sepearate stories and also find a connection with our younge master?
It will all come together at the conclusion. You may have noticed already the theme of longing for a home that is lost.
when 's the conclusion ? which quest
"Friends, to the End" questline in Qinchuan will ultimately culminate in what I consider a satisfying and meaningful conclusion to this arc for the protagonist, and we get set up for what comes next.
ooh okay , that's cool
Yeah I thought it was both visually and narratively well done, and I like what it does for the protag's character development.
It felt kinda small compared to the rest but that’s because I was more engaged with the final chapter
ohh okay
the NPC xue chou, is he based on a celebrity of some sort in china? his face is really unique
his face is literally andy lau lol
Assassination
Please mark spoilers for that
I do not know what the moon grape farmers are realated too
(heavy TLDR) MC basically stepped on her "nobody in main office imperial palace bothers to read schematics, so I can put whatever I want for my revenge plan in there" plan by y'know reading the ship schematic and being buddy-buddy with admin (Zhao Guangyi in this case, but both bros are MC's buddies). Next step was "whatever, might as well blow up the boat now and get the little menace before his mingling reveals anything to my boss"
Spoilers for that quest: t's a story about ||avenging loved ones who were cruelly slaughtered by someone with power. Note the mirrored revenge sequences at the end, which tells us that the MC's rage and grief is still roiling around inside, just like Aynur. Also, of course, survivor's guilt.||
It felt to me that this was our first overt acknowledgement of these feelings still being present, as Kaifeng's political turmoil didn't give the protagonist any breathing room to do so.
what is sleeping puppet poison do to one person?
They turn them into a puppet
kinda like zombie
oh and ||lo an|| was fighting it from turning into those thing?

Tbh is the sleeping puppet poison related to the undead army of the ghostlight market? Cuz there are some heavy similarities btw both of the effect
Ghostlight guys consumed poison but you might have noticed it made them spectral, rather than zombie-like.
How do i unlock gone with the wind?
sleeping puppet zombies are zombies. ghostlight market are actual ghosts
So gone with the wind and gently south wind arrive are same quest, the f with their translation
