I have a question, does anyone know who the shimmer of the south is?
Li Yu, the king of Southern Tang iirc
Sir/Ma’am this is the lore channel

whats this?
i shouted then i died
Immortal girl are so white
Liangzhou story not finish yet
Also konghou just look like harp
(Instrument)
do u guys know how i can equip a new avatar i just purchased from draw shop? for some reason its not showing up
bro same
I think it wasn't supposed to be in the draw shop so soon, but at the reset, since the whole outfit will drop then. Which means, I think you'll get the avatar during the reset.

I just finished the beginning of Ch 2 where they infiltrate the party (gathering of heroes) and the basin that creates money got stolen... and our MC gets accused of being the distraction while their partner steals the real thing. So I'm going to guess, is the kid in the mouse hat the one who stole the thing? Either that or the aristocrat still has the real deal.
Sorry if I'm using all the wrong terminology I didn't play it in English 😅
Rq, which one are you calling the prince? The one in yellow/gold clothes (Ember of East)? Bc there's a prince in the scene, but I don't think they ever address him like that
Other than that, keep playing the reveal is not that far, won't want to spoil your fun 🫰
Yeah sorry ember of east i googled it. Not Prince, but like young aristocrat. The term can't exactly be translated to English, no wonder they just call him Ember of the East and do away with the social title lol
Ooh okay thanks for not spoiling. The struggle of wanting to know immediately though haha
The term gongzi got translated as "mastermind" or "young master of [smth]" depending on context, but yeah, it's confusing
Oh. Wow they really keep switching how it's called just to get around it 😅
The struggle is real, but at least for MSQ you just have to keep yourself from spoiling the fun of the twists and turns of the story
At least they didn't pull "esteemed gentleman" or anything of sorts (the bar is on the floor for eng-cn translation, ik)
Ah I see I got confused too because it is possible to refer to princes as gongzi as well and I've seen that in other media, but rarer as it's preferred to call them huangzi instead
All I'm going to tell, it's confusing on purpose
Right. I cant access the game for the next little while so it is going to feel like a long wait! The story is surprisingly intriguing in this game
You can probably check out the MSQ on YouTube, but it's just not the same😭
Yeah, better to experience it firsthand instead 😆
The game is cultivating everyone's patience
because typically, gongzi is a respectful term for a male of usually certain prestige
huangzi is the true title for a prince, but for most people (basically exception being those above them), its rude to call them by their title
bro
can anyone elgit tell me who the hell i fix this blindness issue in light her way mission
all i see is blackness no object highlighted
lool
What minatour represent for?
I just watch a video on Zhang Yichao and all I wish is that his body is at liangzhou there so he could finally come home. He did so much to show his loyalty to the tang empire but in the end, they just still distrusted him cuz of the An Lushan Rebellion
Like please tell me there is a tomb or memorial for him at there. I just want him to come back home. Not forever stay in a gilded cage
Unfortunately, he died in Chang’an.
But there’s an ancient mural painting in Dunhuang, which is the closest modern city to the Jade Gate Pass iirc
I know but just tell me his body was at liangzhou so at least he is at home

Damn you tang empire, you could have least give him some respect
yeah at its height it was oh so good, and as it was falling it failed in so many ways
Man an lushan really REALLY screw them over
it goes beyond an lushan
or rather, cracks were showing before the rebellion
those issues created the circumstances which allowed him to have ripe opportunity to carry out the rebellion, so its not like the fall is completely due to him
Actually wat was the cracks? I thought it’s was like similar circumstances to a very famous mustache man where Germany was getting so screwed over that it’s decided to enter its villain era and he was the trigger. If not someone else would have done it
eunuchs having too much power, they were able to have huge influence over appointments, which lead to political instability within the court
an lushan rebellion was also partly fueled by this kind of political rivalry, between an lushan and a chancellor
Damn eunuch rlly screw everyone
If tang gave him respect and acknowledged his achievements, yichao wouldn't have to sacrifice his brother, nor himself or his nephew. Tang was pretty screwed so it's natural for them to be traumatized with all these issues, especially when they were literally dying down.
They can't bet on the good in people, bc if something else happened to them, they would be done for
wukong
As if they knew anything about the many lives in the dynasty
eunuch screw over every dynasty
guess they don't like their d**ks cut off
The whole story is corrupted...hard to say if it is false or bit of true at all....just imagine with historical names
What is mutun representation here?
I beat chapter 1 and I still have no idea what is happening in the story
Uyghur probably
anyone knows what happen to Lian Daozi after that? is the story continuing in next map Qinchuan, like the connection of this story since jade gate pass?
his story ends there, qinchuan will have another story
Wait until the desert...
Seriously this quest design is outrageous, just present the story in cutscenes or shorter quests because nobody cares about that dream.
The story is kind of interesting even if it's confusing
And I know it is a dream because someone told me ! I was in the middle of it just skipping everything.
I liked Yi Dao
Nop it isn't and the wait it is presented is even worse
Wdym
There's been a few dreamscapes in the game already in chapter 1
Qianye phase 2 was in a dream
Yes that's what happens when you deliver your content in a boring way
it's a peak dream, for chinese
The dream in hexi is representation of young master stage of grief. That's what youtuber said. And i think so too. The young master is still grieving after blissful retreat incident.
You won't know it, because the reveal that it's a dream is not out on global yet. Some lore discussions are littered with spoilers from cn.version. The quest design imo is fitting for concept of MC being an observer of Hexi story, not participant [still, will be hit or miss for some players], but the decision to split it in 3 parts spaced out over spring is the most questionable here
When you were confused in previous locations it meant you needed to do more exploration and uncover the clues. With Hexi, it is confusing and you need to wait to get the full picture, which is extra frustrating and also clashes with previously set gameplay of "confused = go find out what you missed"
it's going to be very hard to give the full picture for now, so we can only help with the small stories in the condition of no spoilers, until qinchuan is released with the full bright & dark surge

wsp
Nope, it's never revealed, the liangzhou melody's story is pretty much open ended in terms of the girl's identity
Oh
The mc dream hard
Incorrect
One popular but totally unconfirmed fan interpretation says the Liangzhou Melody actually traces the girl’s identity back to a disguised traveling qin master who was never meant to be found. In this version, every time the melody is played in different regions, it subtly reshapes memory in the listener’s mind, causing them to remember a different “girl” depending on where they first heard it. Some even claim the tune is less a story and more a coded map, and the missing identity is just a side effect of the song existing across multiple timelines, and unfortunately I’m obviously lying
God damn it
So, the person states there's no in-game reveal and you say the statement is incorrect based on fan-theory? Thanks for at least mentioning that you're recounting a theory, but the bar is low
Hello, could you please lend me your hand guys ?
where can I contact with the game support because I have an issue with its updates
Yo guys,do u have a bug on the snowball plays encounter?
The end of the message contains the answer
You're not wrong to be fair, like I said, it's open ended, some people think she was the pipa itself, some think she's actually lian daozi himself (an alternative personality/imaginary friend totally contrasting his own), since lian daozi has always been facing identity crisis, or like you said, the physical representation of the song, carrying the hope of those who wish to return to homeland. Some even analyzed that the pipa master they met in the tavern, is a pipa's physical representation, specifically the 狮子丸, one of the 3 pipas that Japan gifted. Legends say that the pipa was lost at sea (matching the story told by the pipa master). The compilation of songs at the end was also portraying how he finally understood his great grandfather's situation, and how home is actually defined.
Since the game decided to leave it like that, it's totally free for the players to interpret it anyway, since some people also chose to think that the girl was real.
Why is the story back and forth? I am so confused.
I understand that all those characters are heading to Chang'an but why?
Why do we jump on this story? Weren't we exploring Kaifeng?
Filler arc to explore world, give context to some stuff and give MC some personal development time and introduce some characters before story gets back on track
iirc we are only in hexi because the strange lady we met promised to tell us more about heavens pier and aunt han, but in the end pushed us into the painting
what ethnicity is aynur?
turkish, from what i heard aynur is pretty common turkish name
prob have to wait for official soundtrack release to verify
❤️
I got so many cutscene skipped during my play, i wonder why some cutscene feel disconnected and when i check the cutscene on youtube, i relize this game chopped many scene in my play
Who is inside this massive coffin?

vampire
Story will continue... It's not over yet
Probably Uyghur
where u find this
Fishwood River Underground
Some tomb being guarded by some tomb raiders
It's a big coffin made me really curious who or what in it. The note just says it is the forbidden blight or something I can't remember.
I think that is where || Zhu Yu || is buried (?). Anyone could cmiiw, its been a while since I've done that dungeon
@uneven reef There is also another one guarded by creepy dolls. A red coffin, most likely a bride.
it's zhu yu from what I remember and verified with a friend @/ettyeternal
Who is Zhu Yu?
previous river master, wife of feng yi, mother of feng ruzhi and adoptive mother of zheng e and zhang cuo
I see. So it's only sealed with a scary warning to ward off tomb raiders?
It's an original song created by the game, it's sung in cn (hope I'm thinking of the same thing which is the folksong of the bitter draught quest)
yep it's from bitter draught
Hi everyone, I’m Summayya. I enjoy gaming in my free time, but my main focus is growth and building opportunities. Open to working with trustworthy people. DMs are open.

I just figured out what I gotta do to grow in this game. It’s a lot. Amma be dreaming in my character running through china
You are trying to find anyone from your family
The main motivation of MC/YM/YW, whatever you wanna call them, it's that they're a 16yo who got separated from their family members and are now trying to look into any leads... but they're also a genuinely good person, so they will get sidetracked to help people (mostly in non-main story quests)
what would burlap sack say?? "awhhhahhuhhhh"
yep, If you read the lore right
When you first enter liangzhou from whitecrown fortress, you follow the road snd u find many coffin laying on tge ground

Why did liangzhou fall

#📖lore-chat message you can refer here

Pretty sure it have to do with the fall of the tang empire
Hmmm
may i ask what does call boat/open boat ticket mean?
This player has called in 174 boat events since 18 January 2026
Boat Name
霁淮鸾栖
Ends
in 28 minutes
Region
Global
something like this
The horse called "Er Ma".. the wine seller called "hao jiu" 😄

Cause the governor’s death leads to the Liangzhou captured by foreign adversaries.
It’s men actually, feminized version of LiBai(李白), GOAT of Chinese poets.
Why exactly did we fight murong yuan for the plans? Didnt she herself design those plans?
She need to use our hand to fake her death.
She embodies the archetype of the heqin
(和亲)
princesses-royal women sent throughout Chinese history to marry into northern nomadic tribes in the hope of securing peace through diplomatic
alliance.(已编辑)
In reality, most of these princesses did not end well. The game softens the tragic nature of the heqin tradition through a more poetic and romanticized portrayal-but if you pay attention, you'll notice that during the boss fight, she is actually crying the entire time.
The tradition of heqin (marriage alliances) in China lasted for over a thousand years. It began in the Han Dynasty, exemplified by Wang Zhaojun (c. 54-
19 BCE), who was sent to marry the Xiongnu. Later, during the Sui Dynasty, Princess Anyi (early 7th century) was married off to the Turks. In the Tang Dynasty, Princess Wencheng (married in 641 CE) was sent to Tibet.
In essence, heqin was a reluctant diplomatic strategy adopted by ruling governments when they were unable to fully defeat their rivals militarily-an act of concession framed as appeasement.
The coins would have been marked "Dali Yuanbao" - "Dali legal tender". He probably said "dali 15th year" because in his mind this is 15th year of dali, he would not have known the Tang dynasty collapsed last year because they were cut off. The term "dali 15th year" comes from documents found together with the coins that imply they were minted about one year after the dynasty fell.
Ancient China don’t use Common Era calendar
Ancient China did not use the Gregorian calendar system; instead, it used era names 年号(nianhao) to mark years.
In ancient China, years were not counted using a continuous numbering system like “2026.” Instead, each emperor would declare an era name (nianhao), and years were counted within that era.
So instead of saying “the year 1100,” people would say something like:
“the 2nd year of Xuanhe”(宣和二年)
Era names were not arbitrary—they were carefully chosen phrases that expressed the emperor’s political ideals, aspirations, or responses to events.
The meaning of “Xuanhe” is “proclaiming harmony.”

Similar to the one used by Japan emperor to declare a new era
Do you think where they got that from?

Both of Japan’s era names “Shōwa(昭和)” and “Heisei(平成)” were derived from classical Chinese texts.
Yea i know.👍
“Shōwa comes from the Book of Documents《尚书》, and Heisei comes from the Records of the Grand Historian (and also the Book of Documents)《史记》. Both are rooted in classical Chinese political philosophy about harmony and order.”
She already decided to destroy the ship even before ym intervened, Ym is too good of a tool to be used to fake deaths

honk honk!
Genuinely love the humour in this game
what means hao jiu?
it means really horrible translation because you're missing all the puns and context
It means good wine
Wine 🍷🥂
If you do the quest in the lower part of liangzhou (it has a golden icon) you can switch back and forth 🙂
"hao jiu" means good wine 😄
they should stop the stupid phonetic translation or assigning english names and do it literally instead. too much context is lost. most obvious one is changing Red Thread to "Ruby"
This.. they should keep all the original names
I agree!!

It doesn't work like that
The Chinese name is phonetically similar to good wine
But it's not the actual words good wine
U want something similar in english it will be some rubbish like gud whine
yes because he doesn't actually sell good wine, he sells fake wine lol 🙂 that's the joke
fake wine still make drunk
Pity we can't buy parting tear to drink
Sure blissful not having any more but the village still produce wine
Should have some for drinking
Should i clear everything in jiquan before do Governor campaign?

It's honestly up to you, but if you want to know more about the governor, you can do the blade awaits & glue to glory encounters
Are pocketrope boss and qingqing same person?

Why in paper moon quest zhuge ha talk like qingqing already dead?
You meet those NPCs in full form in Liangzhou, Zhuge Ha is the leader of the Pocketrope Circus
If you're gonna ask stupid questions again, at least read the story enough to know what's going on
I wont ask if im understand the story, mute this server it bother u,
U never show up on this server before, why bother now
There's an encounter about the circus if you want to know more about qingqing & the group
Already do that encounter, and thus qingqing still alive here, but when in paper moon quest when we play as an liuli and talking with zhuge ha, zhuge ha says "if qingqing still here" something like that, like he already dead
The day of Guanyin's marriage was the same day of Huaishen's death. Liuli replaced guanyin's place because she wanted to fulfill her promise to guanyin, that she will bring guanyin the freedom she had wished for her entire life, her sacrifice truly broke Guanyin free from the invisible shackles (her family & political marriage).
I wondering too 🤷
Im confuse who blinding guanyin, is her grandmother?
Ppl said an liuli is dead, but we saw her reach the moon, i dunno which one true
It's just comparing qingqing's personality to hers, that qingqing won't do reckless things/knows what he is doing exactly, and if anything happened to him, he won't regret. Liuli was different, she was set to help guanyin who was a noblewoman, when liuli herself is only a performer.
Interestin
Guanyin went to attend a banquet at the Zhang manor (Huaishen's residence), but also there's another saying that guanyin intended to leave with liuli that day (since liuli and zhuge ha was waiting around the area, I think attending the banquet was a reason guanyin gave to leave), she was blinded by the assassins, a lot of the participants of the banquet at the zhang manor was wounded as well
iirc, those assassins were targetting huaishen, but huaishen managed to kill all of them (you can eavesdrop the ladies talking at cao manor for this info)
It's safe to say that she's dead, not much people survived from that incident, the ending when she ran towards the moon is mirroring her promise to guanyin, that she will turn into moonlight and lead guanyin's path. Ever since the start it was already hinted, from her promise, to the charm she taught guanyin & asked guanyin to think about her whenever guanyin recites the charm. She was destined to help Guanyin break free from the cage.
The attack so clean, it even not showing that the assassin reach guanyin sedan, so i though she already blinded before the attack
Why guanyin mother save liuli?.
And what just happen to guanyin, is she reach changan?
because the grandmother is not evil nor bad
shes just a product of her times and the traditions they had
lowk reminds me of enchanto mama head (the head of the family) in a way
whos enchanto mama head 😮
Anyone pick guanyin book on pavilion? They say an liuli dead explain on it, but after reading i dont find any clue
And there signpost say that guanyin and an liuli reincarnated as kids at harvested village
correct me if im wrong but
mc gets stronger as we prog through the story and defeat world bosses and such
especially their footwork
Would the mc lose against yi dao in their current state?
debatable, keep in mind yi dao was also already seriously injured when we met him
ah
Still, I would say we're definitely more agile than yi dao
🔥
in typical power rankings people might suggest at first glance that yi dao is weaker than qianye
but yi dao had been running for days before that
while previously also was carrying chu qingchuan
Yeah Yi Dao was one foot in the grave already while fighting her
yup
He was also busy protecting us
plus qianye is a bush camper
sent out like a thousand people before fighting him herself
Most likely, his fighting style is prob more focused on strength (but not to suggest he isn’t quick)
but judging from what we see from jiang yan in opening fight
definitely
nameless sword in general is more emphasized on speed
Unfortunately it does have gaps
probably because mc hasn't mastered it yet
I don't think mc would honestly beat half the people they do if they actually wanted to kill them
Like Tian Ying is a good example
Correct me if I'm wrong ofc
yeah no i agree
Mc needs to start lifting
tian ying deliberately hold back cause he recognizes jiang's swords style on YM i'm scared of what would happen to YM if he did not use that swords style
of those we fought, the only ones who fought with intent to kill so far is just really Lord Shi
Mc is also NOT wise, regularly trusting shady individuals and getting poisoned/knocked out
tried to drain the energy and strength before she goes for the strike tactic ahh
speaking of which, compared to yi dao, mc does not have resistance to certain ailments
ong
yeah
definitely not, he's a fledging, but glad ppl like ying ying and zhao brothers are there to kinda guide him ngl
yikes
MC is nepo baby 😄
either through the mention of Han Xiangxun's name, or important figures seeing Uncle Jiang's swordstyle on them; had helped the MC in critical moments
story over, you died.
makes sense though, since MC is just 16 and have little time in jianghu
100%
it would be too much of a trope if they became op quickly
That's true
i'm enjoying the growth
exactly, tho i do want to see them grow slowly (and they are) but guess in a way this is how their aunt han and uncle jiang is protecting them
mhm
Mc is weaker, but not weak per say. Not many people have their reaction time nor agility. Case and point: fire arrows when fighting the lady with the long sword and fire bird
can feel a bit frustrating on the choices YM make but then again they're are freshly out of home, and a child in an adult body with martial arts (got almost human trafficed, almost got poisoned, several near death experiences)
What mc needs right now is the right mindset
they're honestly just not fighting with their life on the line
Not enough ferocity in their strikes
about to see that development with qianye soon
hopefully
to be fair i don't think MC is fighting with intention to kill in most of the fights either except lord shi
That's true, but that's also a weakness
not everyone will go easy on them
in many of the fights, they're likely just looking to "beat" them/stop them (Murong Yuan, Zheng E, etc)
in a ruthless world like jianghu true, but i guess their kindness in a way is an advantage as well as a weak point. but they also had different intent to fight
its not at the moment but its for MC its like
Yi Dao shoulda taught the mc a few moves
theres a certain category of people who from MC perspective deserves to die
I see
e.g. ||qianye ||as prominent example
yeah this is the big one
you'll see it in ch4
qianye is a bush camper who goes after children and weakened foes
happy to see lil melon go haywire
also in imperial palace, they'll show that MC did learn some moves from yidao
but its a more subtle detail and not explicitly mentioned
nice
mc did inherit the blade tho
world boss
yi dao just pops by and throws ash at her
and we unlock the sword appearance
unless we don't count that as canon?
feels like in a way it can be canon cause feels like it's a dream YM had trying to deal with the grief of the loss of blissful retreat but yi dao's sword triggered that memory in them, they passed out, dreamt yi dao said goodbye to them plus memories of old blissful retreat and acquired the sword
I mean, could be. Mc is schizophrenic lwk
dreamt whole memories from a fish scroll
in hexi
their resonance with the world to see past of the world through the lens of peoples (e.g. Zhu Yu, Zhang Yi Chao's master, etc.) might have also added to it ngl
this might be the 'power' they have with how they can sync with the 'sounds' of the world
oh yeah, good mention
apparently wind sense is a unique talent?
unique as in, it's more heightened?

Because in one quest I forgot which, someone asks the mc about any special methods to do something I forgot (sorry)
mc mentions that they have really good hearing
wind sense is unique in a way not many people know it (master wuhen boat quest, where the thief mentions it's a rare skill) but not as deep as YM's skill to see the past imo. it only allows the present hidden clues in a way and what I understand
the mirage boat quest?
forgor
I see I see
oh yeah maybe
He says that that hearing is quite the problem
Oh yeah, question
what happens when someone loses limbs in the jianghu?
no way to reattach them?
martial arts that help regenerate/reattach?
the setting of the story a bit more set in wuxia so reattachment is not out of scope but very rare, however mohist members might help get them a machinery limb or hollow vale might find a semi working but risky/costy way
I feel like it is here when we ask what is part of MC's power and what is gameplay decision... like no way the MC just got dropped (in 12 years years of feud) into literal events of 12 years ago, but also if the devs showed it as cutscene instead of "dungeon" it would be much more boring gameplay-wise, and same applies to the other examples. Did MC in some way experience the content? Yeah. Did MC literaly walk around influencing things? Probably not
wdym by hollow vale
what would they do?
hollow vale is like the cousin sect of Sliver Needle where if SN is the ethical, kind, and helpful doctors, Hollow Vale is more like the experiemtal, sudicial, taboo medicine practitioners
ah i see
What about aging? In wuxia people do talk about immortals
and we gain solo levels named after such things
"beyond mortal"
If Silver Needle is Medical Practice, Hollow Vale is the insane people in Medical Research
and we also increase our vitality+endurance
aging is pretty normal however for some individuals that try to achieve immortality as a goal, they will get the same status as 'immortal'. for example li zuo the white hair emperor
through various means
Oh so it's possible?
vitality and endurance seems to be wuxia martial arts metrics from how I see it
yup li zuo semi achieved (or fully? not too sure) that
well yes, but vitality in general is tied go overall health (not ingame)
Based on some of Water Lady and Ferryman's content, jianghu wanderers are expected to age normally, unless they indulge in some shenanigans (facial editing like auntie, or bugs like Li Zuo, etc)
Bet, I'll make MY mc try that
you all can be little mortals
From what we saw so far, it has variety pack of side effects, so it is generally not recommended
Live forever in cranky 80yo body
Doesn't stop their joints from creaking
Strong but do you really want to be like that for rest of life
i mean, it's between death and eternal life
I support Li Zuo's thesis of getting it early/midway
i mean, that works too
yup but some ppl want to live as long as they can even if body is crippling in a way so i won't be surprised if we get a quest/lore piece of someone like that
yes, I'm people
understandable ngl
I think people with chronic pain conditions can weigh in on that, but atp of discussion it is very much a personal preference if you can deal with it or not
midway it is
That would be interesting, ngl
Funnily enough, he isn't even old old, he's like a bit older than Gu Le and Qiu Yuehai and the rest of 8 heroes gang
oh lmao
I mean, he is older than them, but not to the point that it is outside of humanly possible number
not might, but yes
i haven't verfied with the current up to date cn lore so didn't want to sound so sure when i don't know anything yet
but thanks for your confirmation shui shu
we learn more about it later, coming very soon

i haven't started Hexi arc yet, but even in Kaifeng, it seems the hints are already given sparingly. in the Encounter quest around Masterwood Hamlet, the masked Murong Yuan mentioned she feels that MC can sense harmony or something along that line. which could also explain why they can learn martial arts simply by peeking
i am curious about how the jade will come into play with YM's skill of resonance
true true
Could you tell me the encounter name
Hello guys, I’m an Asian player. I have some experience I want to share with you. It may not be suitable for this channel, which is about the problem of game crashing while loading at 90.10% during startup. I spent a lot of time finding the reason, and finally, I discovered it’s due to voltage drop on my CPU (I guess the poor quality of the CPU could not function at low voltage, which leads to game crashes). This issue commonly seems to occur with Intel 13th and 14th Gen CPUs. Then I tried updating the BIOS to solve the problem, because the updated BIOS provides stable voltage to my CPU. And it worked. I hope this sharing can help someone who has the same problem.
sorry, i checked and it isn't Encounter, it's Wandering Tales. i mistook it because of how deeper and longer it is compared to most of Wandering Tales. it's called [Lu and Mo Debate]
do
Is that the boss in ch 1?

I mean the color of my game has random distortion of colors
not normal no, we had someone in my guild with purple flames instead of normal ones
Idk what to do

u
What is hairgloom symbolic for in paper moon, at the end disguised liuli give guanying hairgloom to granny, and the granny shock, then when they obabout to fall from the cliff we saw granny wearing the hairgloom and liuli shock seeing that?

Use intense it makes it look much better
,

Is there a chart of timeline and connection of the hexi stories/lost chapters?
I really hope the expand the story on LiZuo, he is somehow said to have achieved immortality without the side effects we know so far
He still sitting above buddha head statue waiting for the game update to his story
iirc, that was originally Guanyin's, liuli was probably surprised that granny was wearing it, which means granny most probably knew the girl inside wasn't guanyin but liuli instead
Yeah, but how granny know the bride not guanyin, when liuli give granny hairgloom granny suddenly recognize she is not guanyin, but how? , i lost something here
any clue about this?
It's not really that much here. The comb was originally given to guanyin by the abbess (which, guanyin refused to accept it and wanted abbess to take it away), it's still guanyin's possessions after all. If not worn, guanyin would have just left it a her package or at her room, but instead, LiuLi gave it back to granny. That's when granny knew the person in there wasn't guanyin anymore
Imo the comb probably symbolizes her family (Cao Family), the returning action means guanyin is set to break free from the cage, since Guanyin has always been the good kid, she never really resisted forcefully
That make sense
Btw, lord liede(who gonna marrying guanyin) know there gonna be cout at zhang's and ask for faster bring the bride and take shortcut road even lord liede are nomad tribe which is outsider.
While the cout brought by zhang yichao son
It's a coincidence, even if he knew something is going to happen to the zhangs, the shortest route would mean that they want to settle things as fast as possible to survive, because chaos is inevitable
This reminds me ...he came he conquered and he died
That dude will not arrive China in about 2 hundred years from our current storyline in Kaifeng.
Less carbon emissions
Less climate change
Less global warming
Problem solved(God! Please! NO!)
honk honk!
Why liangzhou fall after the governor's death
For the sixth times, because Liangzhou were captured by foreign adversaries after that.

😂

After snake quest, zhang yichao let down his ego then go to changan to be political hostage there and let his nephew zhang wuishen become liangzhou governor.
After 7 or 10 years zhang yichao passed away on changan, then death of governor happen, there cout orchestrated by zhang yichao son, killing zhang wuishen let to liangzou destroyed by tibetan
If im not wrong😅
But why yichao son going rogue 🤷?
I'm for anything that'd stop messing with my numbers atp
||devs couldn't stab each player personally, so they decided on other methods of inflicting suffering||

there's a reason why yichao didn't want to pass the army down to huaiding (yichao's son), and passed it to huaishen (nephew) instead, he knew huaishen is the perfect candidate to continue his will. It's messy because huaiding his power hungry, and tried to work with huaiyue (huaishen's sister), but huiayue also has her own schemes , in which she wanted the army all to herself.

The actual history is more complicated than that, but it’s fair to say the dev team were utilizing all the rooms in history to make a pretty good story.
So first Zhang Huai Song died around 50 years old.
The death of Zhang Huaishen was caused by his decision to send troops to follow Zhu Mei, the Military Governor (Jiedushi) of Jingnan, in supporting Li Yun as emperor.
This is one of the theories
His ego bring liangzhou into ruin, did he working with tibetan?
Or tibetan attack liangzhou after huaiding become liangzou governor?
Yeah there has been a lot of discussions regarding this topic, and nothing is certain bc of the lack of records, the game did utilize the 3 explanations we have so far, inner conflicts, foreign adversaries & court side like you said
It’s the opposite, his willpower is holding Liangzhou together, after he died the whole things collapsed.
I refer to his son, not yichao
Or in other words, the Liangzhou we saw at first is somehow a fake reality portraying a city that is in both harmony and peace, like a utopia in a region of warfare.
No, I don’t think so. Huaishen was doing his best.
The broken Liangzhou is the real picture.
After governor dead, zhang huaiding become governor then tibetan attack liangzhou?
More complicated than that
First, his governorship didn’t get certified by the emperor
well, huaiding passed due to illness 2 years after he took over
Because the emperor doesn’t trust him
And worry about he became another ambitious warlord
Second, there are inner divisions in the governor’s force
Which we can see it from the quest
Last, the Tang government pretty much lost any possibility to reconnect Liangzhou with rest of the Chinese territory.
So the pressure is enormous
Zhang Huaishen was like Sisyphus pushing a boulder uphill—yet the course of history had already sealed the fate of the Tang dynasty. Liangzhou stood like an isolated island, surrounded on all sides by wolves ready to close in.

in simple words, huaishen is basically facing all sorts of schemes, doubts, suspicions, you name it from multiple forces, he did his best, but one's power is limited
I am always using the metaphor of Game of Thrones to describe Hexi
The Dasan Pass is the wall
And Jade Gate Pass and Liangzhou were the territory captured by the white walkers.
And Zhang Huaishen is pretty much the Jon Snow.
Except he doesn’t have aura of main character.
Hello, please keep this channel for wwm lore-related only. And event with rewards will need to be approved by @opal dock first to be advertised in the server for safety reason. Thank you for your understanding.
When paper moon happen are there already war inside changan?
Cz when a liuli inside the sedan, the carrier talking about "before there famous snack shop on changan name of an shop( liuli mother?), but now the market already ruin and there no an or li anymore"
Im confuse with the timeline
Let me walk you through
We can assume papermoon, liangzhou melody, death of governor already 10 years after snake quest
How to start the starlit canvas event i havent done the main story quest
The Tang dynasty experienced two major internal upheavals.
The first was the An Lushan Rebellion. It originated from the rise of An Lushan, a powerful frontier military governor of mixed Sogdian and Turkic background. An Lushan gained the trust of the Tang court—especially under Emperor Xuanzong—and was granted control over several key frontier regions. Over time, he accumulated enormous military power and autonomy. In 755, he launched a rebellion, proclaiming himself emperor of a rival state. His forces quickly captured both Luoyang and Chang’an, forcing the Tang imperial court to flee the capital. The rebellion devastated Chang’an: the city was looted, depopulated, and its political and economic centrality was severely weakened. Although the Tang eventually suppressed the rebellion, it marked the beginning of the dynasty’s long decline.
So what An Liuli was talking about were referring to this incident
The An Lushan Rebellion was a major reason why Liangzhou became an isolated outpost, surrounded by powerful enemies on all sides.
The second major upheaval was the rebellion led by Zhu Wen in the late Tang period. Zhu Wen, originally a subordinate of the rebel leader Huang Chao, later defected to the Tang court and rose to prominence as a powerful warlord. However, he eventually turned against the dynasty, seized control of the imperial government, and in 907 forced the last Tang emperor to abdicate, formally ending the Tang dynasty and ushering in the era of division known as the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period.
And Zhu Wen’s rebellion happened after our story in Liangzhou
I Forget there an lushan, an lushan and an liuli have relate family?
Not really
They are both Chineselized Turks I believe
An is the a really common family name for Chineselized Turks
Like a lot of Muslims have the common last name of Ali
I am 90% sure both An Liu Li and An Lu Shan have Turks and Sogdian background.
I know is confusing.
But liuli mother happen to be in changan and run snack shop is true? I remember hear it somewhere before, i forget its from liuli or zhuge ha dialogue
We can’t verify that.
But it’s pretty common for Chineselized turks to do business in Chang An
They brought a lot of Middle Eastern style gourmet into China
So it’s fair to say An Liu Li have a legitimate ground to make that claim.
But, no where we can verify
The game doesn’t have a map of Chang An
Otherwise I’ll go figure out what type of gourmet they sell.

Oh that took me a whole day to finish it. Otherwise they have good noodle. I hear from my mom that kinfe cut noodles is their specialty. I once remember there a street where they sell food and by god there was this rlly gud smelling mutton on a stick but can’t try it since at that time, I can’t eat spicy

To make things clearer for you here's the rough timeline, based on irl history, 867, YiChao went to chang'an, Huaishen's death was in 890 (same time as liangzhou melody & papermoon), so there's roughly 20+ years in between

How does the headless general died? I don't understand when they said "The general died twice".
Also what's in the box? And what does it mean by General's sacrifice?
nice day
First time he died in the battle (Zhongdu bridge war), second time was his dream puppet state, where uncle jiang ended his life just before he lost his sanity, the box contains the flower/poison that will turn people into dream puppets
aka zombie
history is great

Wrong channel
I am not sure if anyone answered it, but if you go to the pavilion where they used to hangout you can pick up the book where it will be described
This place
Already read the book, and its really write there that m guanyin now live on changan?
Is that so how the book is on the pavillion while guanyin already in changan
I think it's only for us that we know how the story end
@fickle robin
Alright, so conspiracy time.
Apparently, one of the wandering tales about the cursed buddha doll takes you to the same emissary that you can give the half-burned letter to.
If we give the cursed buddha doll to him, he angrily saying that basically goes "Yang has been bullied so much by the other 3 clans. What one cursed doll gonna do? They're not innocents nor they deserve buddha's protection"
I feel like the way he's saying sounds a bit personal, so I was kinda wondering if his real name is also Yang. This is supported by another wandering tale that I asked about earlier (eternal flames of karma) that one of the clues said, "this half-burned letter seems belong to Yang family. Maybe someone in nearby town named Yang knows about this?" . It feels like the clue indirectly implied that the emissary was also named Yang, at least before he joined aureate pavilion.
In eternal flames of karma wandering tale, if we give the half-burned letter to emissary instead of the granny, he recognized it as family letter to which the mc adressed, "how did you know it was a family letter?"
I have a suspicion that this emissary is/was Yang lai (also known as A'lai by his family) due to the fact that the half-burned letter swore vengeance to the mercyheart town and when we give the letter to him, he recognized it and when we pushed, he brushed it off. While it's true that according to his family A'lai died years ago, aureate pavilion is known for their experimentation towards immortality, so it's either he faked his death or he got revived somewhat and chose to get revenge for his family.
Him being A'lai also kinda makes sense since the beginning of buddha cursed doll wandering tale is said that Yang the youngest saw the emissary walking around the fallen buddha statue. At first, I thought emissary did the cursed doll stuff to stir division between villagers. But that contradicts with his response after we give the cursed doll to him.
Alright, that's a lot

Forgot to add that both the half-burned letter and the cursed doll have the same writings, which Yang family members recognized it as A'lai 's writing
You can’t apply real life logic to a place that actually has timeskip happening during the map itself in general
So I think this is to get the information that is tied to a place and characters first of all
Upd. Looks like this is not a coincidence after all (see the discussion below)
Not at all
Chang An is have a chaotic period of time.
Remember I already posted that the Zhu Wen’s uprising is right after the Liangzhou Chapter
So Chang An is battlefield again
Also for lore people here, mercyheart town was pretty much controlled by aureate pavilion for quite some time and its direct south is blissful retreat. Why does aunt han have to wait until the first attack to finally order a move from blissful retreat?
Not exactly, the footman in mercyheart town using the same model as aureate pavilion
But it doesn’t imply the pavilion actually control the town
They are using the town as a field of experiment
We don’t know the exact reason why Aunt Han take any action to protect us.
As in, the devs just lazy to make a new design for different faction/enemy or we don't know if li zhuo or other aureate pavilion higher ups give orders to control the town?
I am feeling like there might be some division inside the pavilion
The question was about this book (and it goes on longer)
Where is the general chat ?
So this can’t not be Chang An at the storyline of Liangzhou
Because Chang An is a battlefield at that time
The description means it is way after (based on the age described)
The description are talking about the golden age of Chang An
Which is probably half century prior
And the years after chapter of Liangzhou in Chang An is a chaotic period
Because I have a wild theory that the supposedly aureate members in mercyheart town actually act on their own while still benefitting towards aureate pavilion goals in the process by brainwashing villagers to plant datura flowers
So even if the higher up knows, they could just make an excuse
After around 890 CE, the city of Chang’an—once the glorious capital of the Tang dynasty—had effectively become a hollow shell. Although it still functioned as the nominal seat of the emperor, real power had shifted to regional warlords, and the central government had lost control. Repeated conflicts, especially following the Huang Chao Rebellion, devastated the city’s economy and population. In the 890s, rival military leaders such as Li Maozhen and Zhu Wen turned the capital into a battleground, even holding the emperor hostage. By 904, Zhu Wen forced Emperor Emperor Zhaozong of Tang to relocate the court to Luoyang and systematically dismantled Chang’an itself—demolishing its palaces and relocating its population. This marked a rare moment in history when a ruling power deliberately abandoned and destroyed its own capital. After the fall of the Tang dynasty in 907, Chang’an never regained its former status, and China’s political center shifted permanently eastward.
Interesting, tell me more, please
It still refers to the same characters so might be an idealised dream that never came true
I think it’s a dream

After 890 CE, Chang’an witnessed a series of catastrophic tragedies that marked the violent end of the Tang capital. The city was repeatedly occupied and fought over by rival warlords, turning streets and palaces into battlefields. During the conflicts surrounding the Fengxiang Campaign (901–903), prolonged sieges devastated the Guanzhong region, causing severe famine—so extreme that historical records describe cases of cannibalism. The imperial court itself became a hostage, as Emperor Emperor Zhaozong of Tang was abducted and manipulated by competing factions. Civil administration collapsed, markets disappeared, and large portions of the population either fled or died. In 904, the warlord Zhu Wen forcibly relocated the entire court and remaining population to Luoyang, then ordered the dismantling of Chang’an—its palaces torn down and its infrastructure abandoned. What followed was not just decline, but the deliberate destruction of one of the greatest cities of the ancient world.
At this point, Chang’an looked very much like Sodom.
Sun Buqi and Li Zuo represent different factions within the pavilionand Mercy Heart Town was likely orchestrated by Sun Buqi.
It probably checks out as the author is herself
Sun Buqi is still alive?
Sun Buqi was the one who released the poisoned water beneath the Gleaming Abyss.
Probably, the CN server gave us clue
Interesting, I thought he's dead. What clue is it?
I can’t tell you, it’s spoiler
Awwiiee..
Hmm, the story so far has been good, so I'll wait until it gets released
Who are "we" here?
Guanyin and....? Bc liuli already dead
It’s a spiritual way of saying you are always with me no matter what.
Speaking of, why does li zhuo wants to cooperate with sun buqi, the one that poisoned his lover? Or are they enemies trying to gain control on aureate pavilion?
Li Zuo lost his mind.
He is pretty much crazy
For anyone can help him go further on his plan, he is gonna do it.
Even sell us to Khitan
Due to the death of qingyi or he got poisoned?
Probably both
He wants to rebuild a new enteral Tang Dynasty
For any price
By any way
So probably the main villain is sun buqi, but it's kinda ironic that his dream is immortality for all
That he ended up experimenting people
I mean sun buqi was able to find an method to immortality. It will be unwise not to take it up especially with that character of his
Basically every time Li Zuo appeared, I am feeling like the underlined sentence in the air is “Hi I am Li Zuo I am craaaaazy!”
The thing is, qingyi becomes immortal due to her unique body. That's why when sun buqi tried to replicate it to villagers, the failure rate is massive. So I thought qingyi was the only succesfull subject
I read it like dave from pvz TT
It made me think actually why would he be so fixated on it while he never witnessed it in its prime at all. He was already born while it all was in hell
Very similar to Hitler
Li zuo not working with buqi, sun buqi kidnap death half death qingyi put her on gleming abyss and experiment her and other ppl from village, li zuo track him to gleming abyss, but before li zuo meet sun buqi there, buqi already stop his evil experiment due to feel guilty, but he cant kill qingyi so he left her in gleming abyss, by the time li zuo reach that place buqi already gone
Oh crap forgot about that
Where's aunt han at
How the lore doing
0
Running from two governments probably

Running from EVERYONE.
In Kaifeng
exactly
am i the only one who thinks she is the veil lady before we enter hexi 😂
Yes you are.
- Hexi quest can be started during Ch1, while aunt Han is still actively present in Blissful retreat. She can do a lot, but being in two places at once isn't on her list of skills
- MC might be naive, but they have much higher insight into the world than people around them. If anything, their adopted mom would know that a disguise won't be enough to mislead them
- The Mysterious Lady is much younger than aunt Han (MC's age group, early 20s tops)
- [spoilers from
the other sidecn.version]
Could be anyone
so many twist
I don't get number 1 in kaifeng we searched for Aunt han? After kaifeng we went to hexi, why should she be in blissful retreat
It was meta-before Hexi [release schedule is metagame information]. If you create new character rn, you'll see that Hexi quest is accessible earlier than Kaifeng, indicating that it is independent of Ch2 timeline
So if you played before Hexi update, you won't know the "flimsy" timeline of Ch3
Sooo
Doy
hmm
I doubt about the 2nd point since a lot of people have said that the person who attacked us at the start of the game was jiang yan, but mc didn't recognize him
Does He Ran not know that the general is already dead in Zhongdu Bridge War (I assume it's the war in North that he talked about)? Also where do you get to know about this, is it explained in archive or you just conclude it yourself? I kind of want to find out the truth by myself
;3
Brief attack against long conversation + multiple tabletop games (but I can see your point, just imo not that close)
#📖lore-chat message Arda wrote an explanation for the related task earlier
Thank you
I still don't know how you guys know this much though XD
In-game quests + Dark Surge entries + anecdotes (exploration points you get from NPC dialogs) + Compendium entries + Journal (character stories) + Wandering tales
Don't forget to read cat compendium entries, each kitten has a paragraph or two about them

Yet all those immortality we have so far aren't true immortality, those who sayingly achieve this kind of longevity would ended up becoming soulless monsters, and can't be called human. That's why LiZuo got crazy, because one thing, he lived in hell for his entire life, the last straw was QingYi who grew up with him ended up in this state because of Sun BuQi, and died because of the pressure from the jianghu (the true reason is, QingYi didn't want to cause harm further, but part of it was bc of the pressure as well). QingYi warned him beforehand but this guy just snaps and says no, I'm going to create heaven from hell. Not to mention Sun BuQi is basically an irresponsible guy who just abandoned his researches (kaifeng's DtD & Gleaming Abyss), he's kinda similar to LiZuo in way but the only difference is Sun BuQi thew his kindness away since he stumbled upon immortality as an uncharted territory, and thought it would be interesting in pushing the limits
He gave his answer in Gleaming Abyss quest, his logical reasoning after discovering Sun BuQi's immortality research was that if there are no demands = no conflict -> peace & and a nation of pure kindness, so he brought the remaining records of Sun BuQi and established Aureate Pavilion
I think YM knew to a certain extend, I'm sure they knew the person didn't mean any harm, since he didn't actually fight YM with the intention to kill, and from how YM can still calmly tell the whole story to aunt han

Can anyone give some explanation of what's going on in gracetown 8 years ago? I remember a person called He (?) or Hong (?) betrayed gracetown and instead became the bandits. What triggered that betrayal, and how did it connect to what happened 12 years ago (when the bandits ravaged the zhengs?)
Yes, I remember that, but it doesn’t answer my question tbh
According to the lore gamer gfs are real.
Mannn
I didn't expect ||Ruby|| to die like that
|| But it's really cool the game decided to off the stereotype where the child, ignores the elder and tries to act like the hero, and instead of the elder dying, from the child's stupidity it's the child that dies||
I know
one of my co workers has a crush on me.
though due to policy I can't have romance with them.
That's company policy doesn't apply to me 🙂
Honestly, I hope she stays dead. Since there was a theory that ruby technically didn't die since we don't see her in the dreamscape.
Not that I hate ruby, but I've played a game where a character is presumed dead only to be revive later as different person
It's a clichè which I saw many medias failed to portray it as a good thing to the plot
I agree
His upbringing & past plays a huge role here. He was assigned as a puppet emperor when he was only 13, and had to listen to Zhu Wen for everything, as the last emperor of tang, obviously the responsibility would be solely upon him, he feels the need to restore tang even though it's unsavable tbh, it became his obession + this guy is kind in nature, but all the pressure upon him just made him snap (his kindness became twisted). We have a short story about him w LiZuo & Wang Qing in qinchuan which you could see the change in his mindset
What short story?
||Ruby's|| death is a huge and important point in YM's character developement.
I would be so cheap if everyone just fake their death and comeback like nothing.
Also, anyone?
I can't say much, because that would be spoilers, it's a quest in qinchuan
I see
There smth I want to ask abt Li zuo age cuz isn’t he supposed to be an old man but somehow was able to look like a young man with white hair when in uncle Jiang introduction. Do you think it’s might somehow be smth related to the immortality or game being game
It’s a discord event by official team https://discord.com/channels/1180042348755963924/1458720049220292640
Both
Technically it's likely the first, but you got a quest later on when you met some masters that's 80+ and look like in his 20+
Basically: Zheng E saved the poor shen yilun & gave him food, due to the chaos, shen yiren (shenyilun's brother) with the he guy you mentioned & xieyuanting decided to ravaged the zhengs by holding shenyilun captive. The survivors had to find somewhere else to live, while the farmland was givn to the bandits by the court (gracetown). That's why zheng e held a grudge against them
Just wuxia genre being wuxia genre
Ya might be that cuz I just remember that. Might explain why ym can look like a old man and still be 16 y/o
It was said that LiZuo acheived immortality, but we never know how, since he's supposed to be in this 70s now
You should play the lost chapter 12 years of feud (Sorrowfield village) and Zheng E campaign. It will explain that story.
Wait when did it say that? I been forgetting about the early part of the game
That's what happened 12 years ago, but then there's a rift between He and presumably xie to the point that He got kicked out from gracetown 8 years ago. Do you know something about that?
Done that, unfortunately, I'm a man with terrible memory
Okay Killer Blade has become my favorite character
🤗
I gotta say the cutscene had me on my seat.
It was a theory from players from how he had done all sorts of weird stuff, and since he got his hands on Sun BuQi's research, he had plenty of time, but nothing is certain
|| God they should put more of him in game ||
okay
Ya I mean that make sense but wouldn’t it’s mean he would have contract sun buqi if order to prefect it to the point of not needing a special body like his gf
Xieyuanting was in debt with the zhengs, so during the ravage, he helped neither side and just sat aside and watch. He did try to save things by giving back part of the land to the zhengs, but the zhengs obviously won't accept such cheap apology
Like it would be weird story wise to not have they Ben connected in some way of form
That's the mystery we are waiting for confirmation, because not even qingyi who has a special body can escape from the side effects, but somehow he was able to keep his sanity (even though it's twisted)
Quinyan was my favorite boss fight hands down
And I assumed He didn't like the way xie acts so xie kicked him out?
sunbuqi pretty much left all his stuff unattendend, with the immortal parasite & his notes, with his experiments conducted in his aureate pavilion, honestly it's not impossible
yep, the two had inner conflict
I see, thanks for the explanation
I look forward to it as I find his story quite intriguing still. I do agree he came from the place of good intentions. Interesting that Qingyi I think kinda saw the truth behind it all hence her choice, while he couldn’t. But he is a bit dense in general, given how he could not grasp the meaning behind her repeating his name over and over to overcome pain for instance.
||you can even visit her grave, it's on the hill above Flower Expanse..Yi Dao's also||
Okay, another question. Is there someone named Dou involved?
There're 2 npcs in southern suburb of kaifeng which you can eavesdrop to (surname He and Dou) and the man with surname He said, "We all know what happened 12 years ago and what your cousin did 8 years back"
Do we know qingyi's cause of death? If suicide, why, knowing well that li zhuo is just one snap away from becoming insane
just finished liangzhou and the stories are really interesting
we love liangzhou !
QingYi who endured the pain & also went out to cure those who were affected by SunBuQi knew too well the price of immortality, she never cried nor tried to escape, LiZuo was her emotional support for all this time (and vice versa). Yet for LiZuo who had his own wishes, that started from a good point, losing QingYi was his last straw bc QingYi was the only one who accompanied him all this time from his high and lows. Also, restoring Tang to its peak (or rather, hoping for peace to the nation/establishing a nation of pure kindness), wang QingYi & LiZuo's promise & dreams.
hello
I can't really remember about the dou person so, the main culprits back then were shenyiren, xieyuanting & heyuechi(?
She suicided under the pressure of the jianghu & to atone for the harm she caused when she wasn't sane
||Zheng E and Shen Yilun (the master of grain in granary campaign) are best friends when they were a child in Gracetown. Zheng family is rich while Shen is poor. Zheng family decided to give their grain to the poor villagers. Shen Yiren is Shen Yilun's brother, he is a ran away soldier, later joined the bandits. Seeing the richness of the Zhengs, Shen Yiren and the bandits robbed the village and killed the entire Zheng family. Zheng E is the only one survived because he was saved by Zhu Yu (the former River Master). In 12 years of feud quest we were in Zhu Yu's pov.
The survivor of Gracetown later moved to Sorrowfield village.||
You think those blue haired girls will love me now, that I resurrected into a Horse?
Aurete is name of qingyi favorite dance, later use by li zuo to name his crime group
wow
helo
story is right, but I think it's the other way around, Shen Yilun was the original master of grain. Zheng E was the one who took over that we turned a "good guy"
good morning
Why ppl keep spaming emote?
where
that's what I said, Shen Yilun is the master of grain.
Zheng E captured him and impersonated him (with the help of ||Aunt Han||).
well umm what will happen to my unfinished quest in liaghzhao town after it got destroyed

do the lost chapter bitter draugh or sth (I forgot the name) and interact with the golden cup, you can freely switch back and front.
ohh woah thanks
you're the goat
Halo evrenyan

I am pretty sure dev team is not the villain
There are someone else are the villains
scriptwriters ofc
Not them either.
The pressure of jianghu?
lmao
the last time i played max level was 60 how far am i? i am returning
it's 90 now
if you live far away from server nothing will resolve distance
because a lot of people were seeking for immortality (without knowing the true consequences), and during the experiments, she unwillingly caused harm to other people as well, that's the reason LiZuo used to convince himself about the death of QingYi, despite it was something she wanted
but you can use gfn to turn your high ping into input delay ping which is more playable
Where do you live if you don’t mind me asking? And what’s the server? Is it like aus -> sea/aus server?
Aynur has heterochromia 🙂
They removed the mobile chat channel?
Don't see it too
Wow
They really did removed it

?
I am feeling like this is an unnecessary removal. This channel should be back, it’s a terrible decision.
Effort puts on the wrong stuff
There is a lot of stuff that need to be fixed especially for the mobile version of the game
Totally agree
First the ping
I feel like the game’s operations team has been charging full speed in the wrong direction. They don’t seem to understand the player cultures in different regions very well, and language barriers have led them to make a lot of poor decisions. As a result, it feels like the number of players still sticking with the game is steadily shrinking.
Issues with the game’s storyline and lore can still be fixed later on, but choosing the wrong people to handle game operations is something you can’t really recover from.
No no
First is making legend difficulty available on mobile
That's true also the cross server ping in arena and the forest it definitely needs fixing
Hello, i wanna post my dualblade test against dummy target see what other players think of it, n i dont know which thread i should use, can anyone point me at the right direction ? 🥺
What the heck is this discrimination
Yeah bro ik the pain , them be please play on pc for better experience, bruh wuwa has great graphics, enfield has great graphics they don't tell mobile player to hope on pc instead
Honestly, I don't have much hope for wuwa either
The devs listen it's the size that's the problem
The optimization in 3.0 has been really bad and the storage optimization only comes recently
Media
I can play rina at 30 (45?) fps just fine. Anything past 24 fps in lahai-roi cooked my poor phone
Cooler is a game changer
True, why don't I think about that
This game might die soon
I think my problem is moreso on legend difficulty not available on mobile. What prompt the devs to locked it behind pc? If we play wuwa, you can still beat toa with quickswap shenanigans while being on mobile. Sure, qs is easier on pc than on mobile. But so does legend difficulty
I think with Legend difficulty devs are pandering to soulslike-crowd and so-called Elite Gamers™️ Don't Play on Inferior Tech. Listening to that elitist crowd instead of, yk, looking around the room or listening to your players is a major🚩
I played harder games than wwm , I can play legend difficulty on mobile

like what kind of games?
Like dark souls?
Byeeee leave the server too
only steam players cry about dead game on every game
I noticed they updated Wang Qing's face in the flashback to when he was young
At least in CN though
The quality/size ratio of wuwa is pretty bad, and the translation is genuinely terrible lol. Also story has no feels 🫤
Considering trailers can be inconsistent with in-game
I didn't know 💀
I think arena PV with him also changes, but I'm not sure what the trigger is
Steam is one of the most used client for PC gaming
After wwm it's hard to play those games, I mean for what are you wandering about aimlessly lol
What games ?
Gacha games?
Games like Genshin and Wuwa and Enfield
I started to gravitate very heavily towards realistic artstyle than those mainstream anime style stuff
A kind reminder this is lore discussion channel
Not #💬martial-pavilion or #💬off-topic or #🌱beginner-questions
Give back mobile chat channel
Yeah, I just remembered there was an NPC with the same set of hair and armour as Wang Qing
Please use #1435338461925081220
Continued on #💬off-topic
Damn they yassifed him
According to baidu, Wang Qing was 53 when he died
so if we try to calculate how old he was when he met jiang yan and adopted he would be around 43-42 (assuming he met jiang yan when jiang yan was 8-10) tho the new face looks quite young
.
it's oddly clean?
Is this a bug?
someone replied to me that it was a special event quest on CN, where the two of them got reincarnated as kids - Yan AnAn and Yan Guanyin, in Harvestfall Village. hope that quest comes to Global soon!
Cause we know Jiang Yan was taken under Wang Qing when his father Jiang Yuan died
Assuming his younger appearance in the pre-release trailer was like in his 30s to 40s
Nah
so where is Uncle Jiang now
did he fell into a well or something
he's out in the jianghu
Really tho?
Searching for new baby to save
In end of the game trailer
He left three years ago and then ran off in a disguise after stealing the Zhenguan jade from SDJ
Wang Qin is full of white hair
The reason why we have a younger version of him in game is because that’s a flashback
Tho he searched new widow to get a new baby to save
Im 35 now and single
So is the martial paragon
Too good too be true
It's always assumed Uncle Jiang stole the jade to conceal SDJ's actual identity and origin
How the jade ended on their hands
Hello friends
Spawned in holding it (iirc, Jiang Yan picked up the kid with Jade already equipped)
There's no way in hell the baby came out of nowhere, absolutely a chance the baby was dropped from a pile of corpses
that part of how SDJ was in the midst of battlefield wrapped is kind of still a mystery

Harlo folk im curious what happens to Guanying after the quest

When anyone talk bout Chang an in the game js know they’re doomed
Guaying is doomed

I know the truth is hard but the game is where tears meet
There’s no happy ending
Fah

So next region gonna disclose how Hexi went down? 🥀
Definitely 👍
Maybe we’ll get a story with good ending too

The devs should at least let us breathe 😭
