If you did it with a player, you can always work it out. The AI option to write with them is quite nice, and probably fulfills the solo rper just as well, but they become repetitive and bound to their stories.

Plus I think you can build your own idea of a town or village, what with housing being so free in one's lands.

But anyway yeah - in a "role-playing" channel, even AI stories could be shared, for with writing they do improve and pull some ideas based on what you write.

also the AI interactions are nice because you can figure your character just from answering those. Different characters will respond differently even to the same bit.

Ever-Normal Granary is basically office of ministry of agriculture of Kaifeng. Jadewood court is "outer" palace where nobles and emperor's family hold meeting and do business.

I just did all wandering tales and bothered by whats going on in mercyheart town. Are they planting datura? There's also the stuff about unorthodox teaching and anti buddhism edicts with A'lai Yang etc.

the village economy was all based on Buddhist statuary, then the previous emperor (Chai Rong) cracked down on Buddhism and Tian Ying started manipulating the faith in the guise of Miaoshan, he led a bunch of people away from the village to the Bodhi Sea and they never returned
the villagers lashed out at the Yang family blaming them for all the losses, they burned down the workshop and started abusing all the Yang descendants, in revenge A'lai turned to the Aureates and helped them infiltrate the town's faith, calling datura "Buddha flowers" and using them to weaken everyones wills to control them

The trigger is in mausoleum of Zheng Family, the bulk of victims are buried in the ancestral mound there. By magic logic, the most resentment about the events is concentrated in that location, so the memory "crystallized" there

If it was fully xainxia, we could def say that the trigger to memory domain forming there was Zheng E's grief [the fungus he has some control of is there, the memorial tablets are carved by him, if anyone's grief is concentrated there it'd be his], but it's technically wuxia, so we can't point to a specific "cultivator"

Methink an unnamed Zheng clan member, someone who saw everything or Zhu Yu. If you read her story, she did go through the town, slaying bandits, and run into little Zheng E. It's not stated if she did or did not kill the leader, but it's not the focus of that story

Like the letter we pick up at thousand buddha village which appeared recent. Granny yang said it was A'lai's handwriting but insisted he died along with the many sculptors who went with miaoshan to bodhi sea. And died following ye wanshan's escape. She doesnt know A'lai is alive. Or doesnt believe it.

Personally, I think big Zhao was a bit on the fence at the start of the Main Story. It seems he believed that a fast a strong attack would solve their external problems, and all internal problems can be dealt with afterwards. I think he came to people open for options, and about halfway through (probably after watching lord Shi interact with Forsaken Quarter crowd) he was settled on decision. I do believe that his involvement with Zhao Er's business upcolse was more of an improvisation, but it worked out in the end

He xi is divided into 3 parts and you would realize jade gate pass & qinchuan is connected, while liangzhou (gansu) is separated from it. From the rl map, qinchuan includes xi an, baoji, xianyang, weinan and tongchuan. Xianyang is approximately the center of qinxhuan region, the middle part between Liang Zhou and qinchuan is called longyou. Irl the distance between the two regions is around 885km, so in game, you would see that liang zhou would be separated from the other two. YM is 16 and fairly sheltered/idealistic so a lot of the panicking is just nerves and not wanting to fight cops

Yeah that's fair. The whole Kaifeng arc is really as if we are a opportunity victim. Right place right time for people to manipulate us into taking down the bosses that we did. Maybe I'm just on this whole other kind of mindset where maybe we'll turn out as the villain instead of the heroes we think we are. Like Tianying is literally the hero - and I don't think we killed him during the fight, as his lore is super in depth and him dying to a wanderer would be kinda moot.

the former just told outright in the prologue, then in Kaifeng there's an encounter quest The Winter Gambit taking place in... winter

All current emglish wikis suffer from souls-like disease of "combat tips and walkthroughs", so you won't have much luck looking into the story there
