I thought that he was Ba Wu when he was a small boy living with grandma in the caves ca. 200 years ago and when she passed away, he went outside to the village and was adopted by pair in the village and returned to the caves when his adoptive parents started showing symptoms of the curse. Hiya! Yup, I thought what could the Void King imagined at that moment. First thought was that we reminded him about Li Zuo and the way how we looked at him when he fell down. It could be a mirage of the past events, where he fought Li Zuo in the duel to convince the Lost Emperor that he could be of use to him and lost so Void King received a punishment to behead 1000 trespassers first before going outside. Another thought was that he sensed MC's resemblance (I don't see it personally) to Li Zuo.
It's kinda interesting aspect what was inside the enemy's head at that moment~

honestly I find this game is quite bad in arange the order questlines.
basically there is no problem if doing the campaign before main quest, just break the immersion because some of the characters in campaigns appear in the main quest, but they're just in background.

When I was rather new I was lost at heavens pier and asked how to get to an NPC it gave me the directions and watch out for lanterns at the location. I thought it was just ai flavour text but I followed the directions and saw lanterns and really landed at my destination

That meant the npc ai bot knew where it was in relation to my destination. My mind was blown

Too much attention has been on the Three Kingdoms, Tang, Ming, and Qing period.

Like, Feng Ruzhi's letter that says "don't make Mom come to my dreams from afterlife, and bring wine for Dad", and Zheng E's story where he tells her to "stop coming here, if anything happens to you, I won't be able to look mom in the eyes" and she reminisces about possibly meeting him before all the traumatic events...

When the explosion occurred, and clearly Aunt Han pulled us back. We went from that to the Wanderer paying respects to Ruby’s grave (which I can’t find), and then a note shows up in our mail but it never explains…any of that.

What happened after Aunt Han pulled Wanderer back? Did they black out? Did they talk to her?

Where did the note come from?

How did they find it?

I think it's not the lore of mirage boat but It tells about the charas. Wen Wuhen (I think Yingying knows him?), he is from Weiyang and Jun Bujian (WoH, and it seems knows Uncle Jiang and and we have wind sense ability)
