the title 皇帝 translate into supreme imperial ruler. Its not gender based.
Yeah it is it's got wu in it
I've never seen it refer to a female
Wukong wuxia, wurr winds meet
once, for Wu Zetian
thats why if youve noticed i mentioned her
but the title itself isnt gender based, like Queen or Empress or Prince
But yeah wukong is a xanxia
||the fact that|| blade dies ||is sad||
He lives actually
Ah OK
He lives in our hearts
I don't think it's classified as xianxia.. It's more like 仙 xian without the 侠
Wukong is Chinese mythology
It's uh..
There isn't really a 侠 in wukong
Yes that's Chinese mythology
I'm gonna trust you on this
It's a movie
its from what? Ming Dynasty
it certainly has stuff from chinese myths, folklore and cultural history
its easy to see the inspiration from Wuzhiqi
He is Mythological Bedrock
Eh, yes it's a literature work. But it's setting is in Chinese mythology. It's not set in wuxia or xianxia cuz there's no xia
oh yeah i wouldnt conflate it as a wuxia
tho we are a couple of hunrdes of years away from the novel being written, based on game year
why we talking about wukong
Different genre , but Wukong is over qualified when it comes to cultivating immortality. He had like what ? More then 10 different immortalities ?
I think because I mentioned him as an example for "Following your own hearth" or something
oooh
Wukong didn't need to cultivate. He was probably immortal from birth
His jail sentence was like 500 years
When I think of Wukong, I just think of the Journey from the West cartoon I watched as a kid lol.
It's the same thing I guess
Well, the cartoon version becomes very Xianxia instead of Wuxia with all the weird powers his allies and enemies have.
when i hear people raving about Journey to the West i always think; man these people should read Investiture of the Gods
I grew up with Tian Long Ba Bu, now that was a wild ride.
not a big fan but its a great wuxia novel
I was too young to understand it fully, but I'll probably revisit it someday to re-appreciate it.
I'll have to check out Investiture of the Gods.
Wukong does have weird powers and things.
If anything wukong black myth nerf wukong powers so they can make a playable game. Otherwise the player will just curb stomp most things and wouldn't be fun
wukong is monke
It is Xianxia. They're reincarnations of gods. Even Guanyin was there.
Is there a reason all of the clothes have slits in them or is that like a physics problem
which slits
Check the clothes they all have slits in them either sides, front, back
All of them
Or did clothes actually look like that in song dynasty
are you talking about the hanfu?
cause its hard to walk without dem slits even viking clothing do be like that
ye
So Yingying wasn’t the one bought our parting tear?
She is
Hmm.
She's a crossdresser
She gave it to velvet shade after i think
this town is a nightmare bro. searching for every lore and even had to find 12 cats and the last 82th chest along the way.
Lowk what’s the saddest lore/story you’ll did or see in the game?
the gacha
Most saddest? The turtle grandma looked so happy to see her son coming back to hug but he was hugging her own mother behind her.
my poor heart
BMW mentioned
Wukong wasn't nerfed. Since we play as a "descendant" in a way so we grow from the start as a new monke. At the start of the game wukong was "defeated" by erlang. Planned initially by wukong and erlang cause they consider one another brothers. Wukong wanted to be free of the crown Buddha used to control him hence his "death"
Thats the tldr version anyway
Yingying took our parting tears and gave it to her shimmer of the south gege
You getting cucked bro
I believe the Chinese fanbase doesn’t like shimmer of the south because how he’s nothing like the real life guy?
btw guys, exactly 1270 years ago An Lushan rose up in rebellion against the Tang court
Li zhenzhen the moon goddess
Rl liyu was an incompetent ruler
Her legacy TwT
she's busy playing cards. Do not disturb.
Since we're just throwing out hexi spoilers now ||Li Yu is incompetent here too. But he's backed by Li Zuo, emperor Ai of real Tang, who is immortal and the true mastermind behind the Aureate Pavilion, who is the hyper competent intelligence unit of South Tang. Of course the two are also at odds since they're fighting for who gets to be in real power.||
Walking the blind girl home was by far the saddest moment. Besides the Chad yi dao going out like a g
Li Yu was a better poet than ruler
Tang and Tang 3
Saddest one is the old man you share a drink in Heaven's Pier whom says the made-up story of his youth and asks you to share sake after he dies at his grave
Tragedies dont resonate with me as much as these somber stories that go out with a slow note
Well, he had to be. Because other he would have been poisoned if he was ambitious as a politicon during his younger years
Also, even if he would have been a genius, his political situation was dire in most regards.
Li Jing failed miserable against the Later Zhou, then dumped Congjia all imperial affairs while he just started holding public office and had to deal with his own family poisoning each other as hobby.
Not really, a lot of the demons and mountain gods he faces in the Journey to the West already match him in strength, or use enough trickety to hold him off. What keeps Wukong in the fight is him being a dirty cheater and being almost totaly immortal
its important to watch kung fu hustle to enhance wwm lore
Half our mystic skills are just Kung Fu hustle
yes but watching it again enhances wwm
And all is right with the world
PEAK CINEMA
And i love it
What most people think: Wukong bullying his way through Journey to the West against minor local yaoguai causing trouble like a monster of the week
What really happened:
Wukong fighting off one jRPG last boss after another.
Yeah, and I honestly didn't think he was all that bad. You tend to turn out like that when you don't have anyone else to live for or fight for
Is there a good location to farm for those rice bowls? I've been running around that entire area for a while now and can't seem to get any
assassinating aureate mobs near the general's shrine boundary stone yields some. there's a group that you can assassinate completely.
Nice, thanks
On that same island as the general's shrine?
yeah it's the group of 3 near the stone. they aren't facing each other so free stabby
Do they respawn of you leave she warp back?
Even the local yao guai has some trick up his sleeve that either deters or completely wipes off Wukong by giving him some divine backpain or instant diarrhea
I think over some time? I just pass by there from time to time. dunno if there are other mob packs that are as easy or accessible
Looking to farm Aureate pavilion materials?
Hey!! I'm new to this server just wanted to share my love for the game's lore I love it soooo much... Just finished the first main part, and I miss Yi Dao... sniff
The lore is basically Dynasty Warriors levels of fanfic
Take his sword and stab it in yourself so you can remember him in your heart
FR!! I cried so hard...
I cry easily but still, made me very emotional, love when that happens
I saw someone adjust the positioning of the sword so it clips through their chest as a "side hip accessory"
Yeah this is my second run and my first run I got so eight bowls pretty quick but this time not so fast
Only three games before this have made me cry and this game alone made my cry like three times already
That last fight scene with yi dao and us hit hard, him getting to finally try parting tears, in the middle of the brawl made me really sad for some reason
I don't mind spoilers so if anyone can tell me do we eventually get someone kinda like Yi Dao as the story progresses? As in like, following our character around and/or serving as a kinda frenemy character, I loved whatever they had going on and I need MORE
Prepare for hexi bois, it's apparently more tragic then qinghe and kaifeng combined
If you're asking if we get more heart break, then yes
I have learned a new way of respawning and farming enemies.
So you go to build mode and choose wooden wall.
Then you alter it to make the half wall version.
Now you... Build it into a massive 60 tile tall tower(30 full wall tall)
Then at every step, you place a single carpet between the gaps of each half wall.
Same...
Then you crawl under the first carpet and clip through it and jump
NOOO I WANTED IT WITHOUT THE HEARTBREAK 💔
And you will clip through all the way to the top, bypassing the need for a warp respawn
Kaifeng, the 2nd part is less depressing
Like, damn, them sharing a final drink together was just ugh
It is a very lore accurate way of playing the game
But as a whole is pretty damn sad still
I'm about to dig Yi Dao from the grave and stick one of those weird aah bugs in his ear to get him back/j
I even thought the river master story was sad as hell
You don't got his body, it's burned up and maybe taken by the pavilion
Maybe we will see zombie yi dao if the writers really go down that route
No, we won't. Thank God
Poor fish man
But that is so cliche and low class they definitely won't do it...
But the way he went out was just heart bursting
Raging Tides seems like a good-aligned sect tbh but why are they outcasts?
Also wish we could have gotten Dalang as a mount...
I would feel sorry for the River Master but his daughter is cucking me
Such a beautiful horse
Fr, like, to carry the hopes and prayers of an entire ppl like that is heavy af
Because they're basically soldiers who refuse to follow military command. A rogue army.
Which one is dalang
Steroid horse boss
Yeaaa
Oh the magic horse
The magic is roids and drugs
I felt bad having to beat it...love horses
Me too, poor Dalang, but then I heard the EN voice acting and it felt horrifying
Yeah I didn't like that fight because why we fighting when we should've been ushering them to safety
Original CN voice acting: This messed up evil guy truly loved his horse...
EN voice acting:
This messed up evil guy TRULY LOVED his horse...
I felt like that fight overall could have been prevented but bud had to be terrified even though we didn't do anything, got his horse killed for nothing 😭
Uh, the horse tamer is a secret aureate pavilion agent
Yeah it was all so unnecessary
He very explicitly wanted to kill you for the pavilion
Like damn, why
When? And were we actually aware as mc?
If he liked his horse that much why even use it to fight..
Did he come with scythe Mommy
Did you forget you and yi dao were raiding an Aureate Pavilion camp?
And yes, he came with scythe mommy
Yeah but I thought they were prisoner or something
From what it seemed he was just there yeah
They sure didn't act like they were on the same team
And the door was locked from the outside
just learned that heaven quaker spear is low key similar to the staff from kung fu hustle, the eight trigram staff, which is a kung fu developed by the yang family in the song dynasty, were in the song dynasty
Nah, he's a high level operative given use of the blue glowy insects
Well at that moment I don't think he wanted a fight at all. And we as mc didn't
Wasn't one of the insects on a random dude we beat in the start though? In that fight ring thingy
I forgot the name
we will get alot of likeable characters, liangzhou gonna be peak
Li Zuo, last emperor
I vaguely remember something like that but I didn't know it was him and I know as mc, we had no idea
Is any of them going to call the mc pup though.../j
I feel like the best friend you have following you around is the goose
Every boss they're willing to come help for 10k coins
What a true bro
Wait what
Clip-Clop though...I would die for Clip-Clop
The goose can help with bosses?
It's part of the assist system, you can call in a goose for 10k
Of course, if you're really sick in the head...
You can Tai Chi the demon goose across the world to destroy any world boss
Oh I never seen a goose sign but I haven't been able to summon anybody one time yet
Well I haven't tried on this character but my first one I wasn't able to summon a single player or AI bot
Summoning player is wonky but summoning AI bot should be no issue.
Mobile or PC?
It either gives me some error msg or it just doesn't interact with any of my selections
I'm on console
if you havent triggered the cutscene for their intro they wont let you summon
On console the interact button is r2, and it doesn't respond most of the time to summon signs
Like it can't even click on them to open the menu
its the same for PC if youre using a controller
if its a bug for ps5 you should report it
Yeah so I didn't know what's wrong with mine because sometimes even the sign posts have the same problem for me
because it works fine with pc
I haven't tried on this new character I made on a different account I'll try next time but how do you even get the goose sign to appear, I've never seen it
@nova bluff
ye
R U ol
no goose sign. In the Companion Assitance option you can pick the goose as a summon. There is no such thing as a goose sign.
Ok I never seen it there either so I have to do a goose mission first
you need to hit something?
you have to beat the goose to be able to summon it. Same with the rest of the summons aside from Ruby
Yeah I've fought everybody including the goose
I also didn't know you can summon Ruby
she revives you when youre dead, best one
She calls you laoda 😭
What does that mean
老大
Is she available for every boss?
chief or boss orlike gang leader
during the family quest where we see the flash back of young MC with Yao Yaoyao, MC is a real menace of a brat
Is Ruby also a spirit?
Oh okay
Yi Dao comes as a spirit yeah
So she doesn't help you fight she just keeps you alive?
Damn I wonder why I never seen her on the list either
yeah, she revives you
I'm pretty sure these messages don't belong to lore chat
I guess Ruby's companion had more meaning, I didn't realize until I did her mission.
Damn, i was right with my guess just based on how she talks in CN lmao
Im glad i straight up used CN voiceover immediately, the personality of the characters shines more (?)
absolute menace
blad still alive?
its okay
Me looking over song history because interest in the game. Sees all the names “!!!!!”
You know, you guys are all talking about these big names but...
You know who is tragically overlooked? Jin Zilong, the random mook soldier you saw guarding a door in the Jinming Pool warship
i didnt get my bottom walloped, i only remember those that did.
forever in my heart wolf maiden
Oh, isn't there a lore about how he's actually like
Super talented and all that?
I think from a letter you can read
And he just decided to be a foot soldier
I forgot why, so please do correct if im wrong 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
Do lord shi actually know that basin is fake?
Wonder if it was explained anywhere how he managed to harness that into the power he got though. I know it was revealed later that he was actually a significant/prominent figure undercover pretty much.
That's pretty much his entire story, super talented guy who just became a footsoldier doing menial guard duty
Weiyang City proprietary martial arts has many methods of creating illusions using money
Lord Shi is obviously in on the plot - Everyone who jumped in to grab the pot was in on the plot, except you and Big Zhao.
Also. At the end. Did granny also finally remember that Yingying wasn’t actually Yingying
Yes.
Yes
Yes
So Ruby is responsible for breaking the illusion array? By making over to moonveil MTN?
Yeah
We have lost Ruby, and we have to protect Zhengran at all cost
It’s a Chinese novel trope where you line up things in a way that confuses the senses so you constantly lose your way while inside it.
So what you need is an third person objective view to help you out by giving you an outside perspective
Basically the banner gives a reference point so you stop being turned around all the time and confused
bruh
i saw aircraft carriers being made on the china servers
Kill southern Tang with air superiority
Actually khitans the real enemy
What’s the winning play go south against the Tang remenants or screw the Khitans
do you think we'll be young masters forever
what if the game lasts for another 20 years
will we still be young in lore
Is Yi dao dead dead?, i remember when we finished the boss and there was this weird horse pov for a sec, when we we're riding the horse there was some dude similar to yi dao????????
he is dead dead yes, ||you can "meet" him again by touching his sword under the tree in blissful retreat that takes you to dreamscape where he tells you to go on the jianghu on your own before you wake up||
yea i know that
but when we were leaving on the horse right after there was a dude similar to him just hiding in common fit
yea I don't think that was him
I mean, considering what the Mohist Hill have been able to create, and the fact that we get a vehicle update later, this could be entirely lore accurate XD
Both
we cultivate ageless bodies
It's not just a Chinese trope, if you go to Disneyland you will find that it is a lot harder to walk out than it is to walk in...
sounds like an american suburb, where everything looks the same
Who was Li Wa?
Disney world designer is a arrary magician D:
Lowk wonder how Yi Dao would have been treated like and done in Kaifeng if he had made it
Question for lore peeps, I know Jiang is seen as the killer of Wang Qing in the beginning of the story, and the opening cutscene takes place presumably soon after that since they talk about him committing patricide. But do we know who betrayed the 300 Well of Heaven disciples who came to help Wang Qing?
He's more experienced than us, but he's still pretty gullible and unused to schemes considering even our naive MC was able to trick him into fighting the entire bandit camp while we snuck in. He would definitely be more suspicious of Yingying, but I still see her being able to scam him, just with more difficulty. He'd definitely be pushing for GTFOing after the Treasure Basin goes missing - and would probably be very angry at the MC for offering to eat the poison in exchange for finding the Basin and clearing their name.
[Been drawn too much bread, so I quit and came out to make real bread]
it's actually really good btw
That's funny af
lol i thought the same xD
This doesn't look like it belongs in #📖lore-chat , now does it? 👀
sure it does, half of the story is about literally drawing bread
I blame it on bad translation
Elaborate on that, please 👀
It absolutely has nothing to do with "illusion tricks" as they say and everything about "drawing bread" which is slang for making empty promises
well there was some genjutsu like illusions involved but it ain't the drawing bread part

which is why Yingying spends half of the story drawing bread on letters
I'll move on, then
qianye and han should smash
but what about me and han
good thing I play girl
tru
dress up as quaye and u have chance
han probably talked to quanye
i wnoder if both of them cooked up this massacre
so the young master can have character growth
I did the disguise questline i can do it
Confuscian belief your body belong to your parents and cutting hair is disrespect, cutting hair is a judicial punishment and people can see you criminal because your hair is cut.
unless you monk
that's different. You can monk anytime
with good respect. monks are respected.... generally
miaoshan respected no monks hah
long hair men look gay
if he didn't have the bun and mustache and beart he would be good
depends on whether or not they kept facial hair
if u fight miaoshan first time he hard to fight
keep fighting him and he will be easier than the fkin void king
people often comment how modern men wearing hanfu look like eunuchs because people shave nowadays
hmm
bro i had so much hype for velecet shade
aesthetics swung kind of wildly between han to weijin to tang song yuan ming qing
i thought the hair for velvet shade would be good
and i was met with immense dissapoinment
Velvet Shade is really Tang coded in their clothes, surprised they aren't chubby
Tang likes their women slightly round
not like fat but like.... you ever seen the actress for Noble Consort Yang?
Thicc
no
i wonder what would happen if i bring a anceint chinese emperor into a the modern world and show him chinese beauties
notice the full hair dress and the forehead thing and how she wears her clothes, similar to Velvet, Tang coded
Depends on which emperor since different beauty standards
there's the opposite of this story, being released into a movie
i remember something
a girl put somethign in a urn
food and water went into
was originally a tv show back in 2001
it and fed the milatary
I think made by TVB
then the military gave it fake gold
Which dynasty, Tang liked chubby fuller girls, Weijin liked girls that are frail and skinny and dressed ethereally
i have seen a shrot of it
no clue
bro im having trouble keeping up with indian lore
Aunt han and chu were lovers so likely not
trying to find the descentants of the pandavas so i can find if there is actual connection beetween gita and fiction
Bro 5 Dynasty 10 Kingdoms is lore all in itself. It's like War of the Roses level complex cranked up to 12
but thier entire bloodline ended
Nah war of the 8 princes is thr GoT of china
the pandavas are kind of the very pitiful heroes
true
these guys fought evil and won, died on a mountian at old age and thier grandson was responsible for ushering evil into world back again the very same evil these guys fought
Bumwdgqd
everyone wants to do 3 kingdoms but there are so many interesting times in Chinese lore
3 kingdoms so overdone
cat dude rate how pitiful this story is
i wonder if there are going to be japanese ppl in ancient china like embassy of sorts
we see japanese girls
not sure about Song but they were very active during Ming
if you go far back enough, theres rumors of xu fu ending up in japan
Japanese piracy and Japanese claimed piracy were often on Ming records
i say claimed because there were Chinese pirates that claim to be Japanese pirates too
hmm
it look like sushi
They don't have to do my granny turtle like that 😭
Thank god she didn't die at the end
yeah but the way i see it she don't have much to live for either
she's old, by herself, not in best health, all kids dead
She made peace at least
yes i am happy for her
Yep. But still that fake out at the end made me burst into tears
Now I gotta hug my grandma again
reminds me how there's almost no happy endings in 仙剑奇侠传series
I see
Jiang hu is rough
i tried to explain Jianghu to my western friends, the best way i've said it was like it's like "Da streets" it's all about personal reputation, interpersonal relationships and sect/gang politics, over law and order. I am pretty proud of that anology myself
You should have just said it's the way Jianghu is just basically Wild west in a nutshell
Now I know wild west and Jianghu are really different due to how the wording of Jianghu means
Honestly
It's same same but different, wild westerners have their own code of ethics they follow doesn't matter if it's law abiding or not
Same with Jiang hu
@vague shoal
Hey so uh, holy turn of events first ||ruby dying|| then that fight that I was lowkey gonna cry because she's my baby and I regret getting mad at the start of the game THEN THEY ||TOOK OUT MY BOY YI DAO||
This isn't where winds meet this is where we weep
real
I think I cried a little lowkey
rip labubu
welcome to the Jianghu
I feel very welcome
most Jianghu story be starting like this
Any other sad things I should prepare for (I don't mind spoilers)
仙剑奇侠传 started with everyone one you knew a loved and everyone your girlfriend knew and loved getting butchered
honestly nothing as much as the start, as with all Jianghu likes
they need to beat you down and make you nothing first so then you can be somebody
That sounds like its straight out of "I'll make a man out of you" from Mulan 😭
Sounds like a wuxia for me
it is one of the defining titles of WX genre
This is making me realize I need to learn to interact with people in game so if I have questions I can ask
i really recommend it
Do her legacy before moving on to kaifeng
Wuxia is bittersweet
Anyways @vague shoal
I plan on getting as many side quests done first, I'll probably die a few times -
I left qinghe after completing all the stuff I needed, martial arts/inner ways/mystic skills
Brah why u pinging me without any messages
I need to do that, I just have to figure out how
Also, for higher leveled players who've gotten far, is there any other heart clutching I might cry moments to prepare for? (I don't mind spoilers)
And should I worry about Han?
The next arc isnt as sad, but I hear that the 3rd part is sadder than the 1st and 2nd combined
3rd part is in february though, a long wait
Thats not that far away
Google Ur best friend
But saddest one id gacha roles
Google is failing me 😭 I've gone to YouTube and TikTok
What are you looking for
For Yi dao you have to touch his sword in front of the big tower that is under repairs at blissful retreat
I'll try and find someone in the multiplayer thing to show me 😭
As for Ruby, go here and pick up a map in the brewery
Another problem, I don't know how to find maps
A lot of players ignore cries for help in finding stuff
Btw @vague shoal
Guys, whos the guy at the ending of chp 1? With x scar on his face
Dude im also curious, he looking like he knows the young master and has the same mark as the horse thief yidao killed when u first met him; sus
Which region?
The dude staring at u feom behind as u ride ur horse in the purple fields before heading to the boat for kaifeng
Sounds like li zuo
Doesnt look like lizuo, but the dude is sus
Have any screenshot? I totally forgot what was it since im at the end of kaifeng now
Damn
Aint no way some random npc gets a closeup without being important to some extent 😂 🤷♀️
You can see him while doing horse thief bounty near the ugly lady purple flower area.
He’s the bounty you gotta kill.
That guy look more like a main character than me 😂
I cant find him anymore after finishing chapter 1
He is under vendetta or bounty you will do every day in QingHe
How can you guys post photos here
If ur talking about the daily bounty board, the horse thief posted on there is just a random greenwood bandit guy, its not the same dude
have to earn enough level. Just chat like usual. If required we usually send images through private messages when someone asked for help.
@vague shoal is it confirmed the main story will continue on february?
Msq continues in season 2 so yeah
I see. time for temporary retirement then. I don't feel like gearing up only for them to become obsolete in less than a month lol. Guess I'll be back on feb! Thanks for the info
That's cuz u didn't choose the sponge bob skin. That's main character vibes right there
So I got to the end of Chapter 2, and I am massively confused about some things, but I'm not sure I'm supposed to know yet or if I missed it. So who is Aunt Han? I know she's Water Lady, but it doesn't give me much. Also Our "uncle", I got was a traitor in some fashion, but I don't have a bead on who he is either.
The Kaifeng portion was much clearer to me somehow, even though there's a lot left to explain, but the Qinghe portion, I'm super hazy
U right bro 😂
Actually, do you have a lore video to recommend to dive deep?
not sure how I can answer the "who is Aunt Han". She's your foster mom, a former jianghu wanderer with the nickname Water Lady, who is capable of performing face swap procedure. Background wise she is responsible for performing face swap on a lot of jianghu spies that are trying to defeat the khitan from the inside.
Uncle Jiang is the foster son of a general, and is your foster father (not romantically involved with your foster mom mind you). ||He killed his own foster father, the general, because the general got infected and turned into zombie by that zombie insect the mysterious brooding guy you kept seeing tailing you on the background. Hence why he is branded traitor and is on the run on the intro||
Okay so that's what we know so far. I wasn't that lost, there's probably a lot of lore left to discover in future updates I imagine
@vague shoal ik hexi is in the past, but are we playing a diff character? If its a big spoiler, no need to say
the backgrounds are much much deeper already, but most are found in books and tiny sliver info here and there, like the battle scars on the bell tower, etc
Still same character, but I have no idea how we travel back that far
We the infinite jianghu warrior surpassing time and space i guess 😂
I wish there was a book to soak in all that lore and story honestly hahaha.
There's some good lore videos on youtube
Can you recommend a youtuber?
Apparently the lore gets even more complicated in future regions; even if i played through these chapters i always need to watch videos 😂
get ready for tears lowkey.... was painful
I'd be down for in depth lore videos, I love those, watched way too many on Elden Ring and Hollow Knight
but they're generally not that important, and definitely won't affect the story for you. AND, even our main character failed to connect the dots and still doesn't realize water lady is not aunt han. So I think by the time we got there and it's important they will tell you again either way.
Unless of course you just want to soak in all the lore, then go for it.
Im not gonna make it 😭
Now I'm just sad about Murong Yong. This girl needed to be redeemed, and I'm all for destroying the thing 😛
I have no clue then. I only know he is a brother of the same x scar face
WWM Girl got some good videos in 10 mins that explain all the key parts
Murong Yuan already made peace with herself and move on from the revenge thing. She later travels the world to seek the Dao, you can find out about it in the wandering tales Lu and Mo debate, Masterwood hamlet 1
I can understand why Kaifeng is so clear and Qinghe was so hazy though. In Qinghe the lore is tied to the background lores and the heroes that came before us (pretty sure you understand all the lore related to the main character and ruby etc). In Kaifeng the main story is when the main character actually is the main story
Youtube Handle attached
@软软喵大人
Wait she's not dead? You just made me happy haha
Yeah you can see her again in the wandering tales quest I mentione
I can say 你好 and that's about it, though I'm trying to learn. Is it in english?
Yes subtitled English
oh that's great!
Alright thanks, I'll watch those two!
All the enemies with sad stories are not dead after defeat, except for the horse.
That's good to know, I'm hoping she can play a part later on. Loved the character
Murong Yuan is my favorite side character in Kaifeng too
Yeah, I'm loving Kaifeng a lot, but she's the highlight for me so far
You've done the soaring eagle encounter quest right?
she was for me, until I died 50x because people in matchmaking doesn't understand how to separate barrels.
Don't think I did! need to find those
Soaring eagle gives a lot of context about Murong Yuan, and the Lu and Mo debate in wandering tales provides the closure to her arc
@quiet wigeon She gets a lot harder in higher level raids cause you can't just tank the barrels anymore at some point lol
So true, one time my team didnt clear enough barrels in the yellow or orange area; was an instant W I P E 😂
The worst is when she lights her sword on fire and she does one of her moves that locks on a non-tank character
I actually missed that wandering tales, will definitely have to find it. I wish they made it easier to track those. Wanted to play but having to tab back in and out to do all the mini quests is pretty tiring.
So yikes cus im just a pocket healer 😂
I had to rush and do it to finish the rest of her story since someone told me she was still alive and I could find her again in that quest lol
dude, last time I fought her one of the player seems to think that the solution is to gather all of the barrels on the firebird side, and for everyone to run to the other part of the ship. I kept screaming on the chat asking him to stop lmao. Boom we all dead.
Oh yea, fun times when the healer is busy moving a barrel when suddenly Rongyuan jumps off the tank halfway across the map to swipe at you with a flaming sword and blow everyone up
As always, I just looked it up on the internet cause there's no way I'm doing wandering tales by myself
Then everyone leaves the room 😂 awk
That’s a poor 67 you did
I find the horse boss in sword trial worse people just can’t seem to dodge or kill the zombies not to mention it seems to lag more than any other boss
Just finished chapter 1... I'll remember you forever ruby
There were at least two instances I had where she was at like 5% hp and suddenly 5 indicators were around me and a cluster of barrels drops and she swipes her sword and goes ALLAHUAKBAR BOOOOOOM
Lil nitpick tho her surname is Murong. Yuan is her given name
does the qinghe dark surge cutscene still play after I beat tian ying
or is beating tian ying part of getting some of the dark surge fragments
Beating tian ying is not the end of fragments. There should be one more at least after that I can't remember the exactly how many
aight bet
But the end cutscene is not at the fight.
I dont understand the midnight blades. Are they an evil sect? do they kill innocent people or only criminals
No they're not evil-evil, they release people from suffering.
If you're willing to kill you should also be willing to die
And you inherit the sins of the people you kill
On the ground near you
That's why you kill the recruiter for Midnight Blades after you join
Relax, Ruby is not dead. Just implied dead.
yea theres no way she aint dead
For Hexi, ||no no, we don't travel back in time. the reason for how we get to experience parts of the Anxi Protectorate and An Lushan Rebellion isn't because of a time travelling.||
I can tell you how, tho it's a big spoiler
I'm sorry buddy even in CN ruby is still dead
||Is it through memories then?||
Nope
We're at her grave, I'm pretty sure we buried her. They just didn't show her bidy on screen.
Then go her grave again. There’s no tombstone at all
what theres grave?
The tree above your house
Go here
Remember during the dream sequence with Yi Dao, Ruby was there too
Among the rest of the dead people
here for the people who cant find Ruby's Grave
Can't make out what are the first 3 words there
go to the location ive sent and go there yourself for a clearer image
oh btw even in my global acc ruby 100%
i heard some people coping shes alive because it wasnt 100% for them
Where tho?
@foggy tiger this buddy
Ah OK thanks
i noticed the new kaifeng region has a new faction called xuanyuan and they have lunar powers that are really pretty and im kind of jealous. are they ever going to become a sect or faction we can learn martial arts from or is there any speculation in regards to that?
nope
in CN we currently have Lone Cloud, Raging Tides, Mo Sect and partially released Masked Troupe
aw thats a shame, their martial arts are really pretty and fit my aesthetic. knowing it exists in the game but not accessible to players is such a shame haha.
For players who play in CN server, which sect is the coolest?
Mo Sect. Fr Fr. Trust me Bro.
Okay why is it Mo tho? Do they have pretty outfits too?
uuuuh Mo Sect members have to masquerade as people from other sect
if you caught them, you can imprison them and force em to make a special divine craft that can only be crafted by their sect
so the more people going mo sect, the more people to bully divine craft out of

So they are baddies? 🤣 worse than nine mortal ways?
no no, theyre not bad guys
Lone Cloud is cool too
if you like the Monogamy approach. 1 Partner for life
if you break up with your partner you get heavly penalised
If I leave my sect will my sect outfit stay with me? Coz I am planning to get all sect outfits rly 🥹
yup the only thing you cant carry is your title
so if youre the chief elder of Midnight Sect atm and leave and join Well of Heaven you cant carry your Shakanda title
okaaaay
You play in CN server. Did you guys finally find aunt han there? Just curious 🫠
And are we going to get new weapons?
Im early parts of Ch4, Yingying will contact us regarding a lead
yup we will. 3 rope dart, 3 umbrella, 3 spear, 2 sword, 2 fan, 2 modao, 1 dual blade, 1 Fist and 1 Hengdao
Fist and Hengdao are totally new different Weapon types, the rest are just new Martial Arts for existing Weapon types
Okay and is big zhao the leader of china or something. Is he still in the game in cn servers
uh not leader of China. he is Emperor Taizu of Song
Song Dynasty. There are still other Kingdoms that exist during this time
yeah not alot of time will past for ch4 because ch3 is a filler arc (kaifeng is ch2)
He is the one in the end cutscene yes? In yellow robes?
Lololol I knew it
That plot twist. No wonder he freely roam in the kingdom and never get caught by soldiers
china is not unified yet, several other kingdoms coexisting
if you want to know more about the time period look up 5 dynasties 10 kingdoms or ask somebody here
helps with a lot of context about what's going on in game
here I made a list previously
5 Dynasties
Later Liang (907–923)
Later Tang (923–936)
Later Jin (937–947)
Later Han (947–951)
Later Zhou (951–960)
10 Kingdoms
Wu (902–937)
Former Shu (907–925)
Chu (907–951)
Wuyue (907–978)
Min (909–945)
Southern Han (917–971)
Jingnan (924–963)
Later Shu (934–965)
Southern Tang (937–975)
Northern Han (951–979)
The Tang Dynasty is from 705 to 907. Southern Song (北宋) is from 960 to 1127.
Some of the 10 Kingdoms existed together with early southern Song when Taizu was emperor.
Taizu will die without reunifying china proper
So some political leaders in the game are real people?
major leaders all are
for example Qin Roulan is a real person
the higher they go the more likely they are real
my wife btw
Is the young wanderer able to go through all that dynasties in the game? 🫠
nope
we're at AD962 in game
so you can see where we fit in
Song is the dynasty following later zhou
the 5 dynasties were all one after another occuping roughly the same region (sometimes bigger and smaller)
and they coexisted with some subset of the 10 kingdoms
Southern Han (917–971)
Wuyue (907–978)
Jingnan (924–963)
Later Shu (934–965)
Southern Tang (937–975)
Northern Han (951–979)
remaining kingdoms are these lol you'll see them mentioned in the story
southern tang is occasionally referred to as Jiangnan kingdom as well
These kingdoms go to war with each other? Will there be war in the game in future?
we will really only be able to go to Qinghe, Kaifeng, Hexi and Mohist Hill
Hexi takes place in the past. MohistHill is next to Qinghe
there's war all the time in this period, it's a time of chaos
in the quests you'll hear about some of the wars that took place
over the last few decades
thats why the goal of alot of people we meet is to stop or slow down Song Expansionism
Zhao wants to conquer everything, his neighbours dont wanna get conquered
@old beacon you finished the main story and the lost tales?
The soldiers that attacked Heavens Pier. Are they enemies of big zhaos kingdom? Are they from another kingdom?
Main story yes. Lost tales not yet
Why did they attack Heavens Pier? Thats what im confused
think of em as the big baddie of the story
uuuh explaining that will be really long and difficult
idk where to start
In the beginning of the game someone took our coin with our name in it. Is it them?
the Jade
they're a group linked to southern tang
no that was uncle
there's a puppet master behind the group
So uncle is still alive? Even in cn server? Is he our enemy?
|| white haired guy at the beginning with the bugs, the last emperor of unified Tang, Li Zuo ||
no he isnt our enemy and yes he is
btw the lost tales are really good for lore so take your time and enjoy them
How about uncle jiangs friend? The one who helped him in the intro with the fan. What is his role? And are we going to meet him?
Chen? he is alive
Sry for my questions im rly curious 🫠🤣
🤔 i dont remember meeting him in cn, or maybe i just didnt notice when i did
but he is alive for sure
could someone give me an explanation on who tian ying is? isn't he aligned with aunt han? and if so, why do we fight him?
Tian Ying is uh dark hero, willing to do bad things for the good of the many
he was alligned with Aunt Han when Han was alligned with the Hanging Blades and Northern Vow
as a Kid Tian Ying was saved by a Hanging Blades Elder. Later on he joined via the Invitation of Wen Renpu
Chai Rong and Wen Renpu established the Hanging Blades. Chai Rong made Tian Ying cosplay as a Monk named Miaoshan. To melt buddha statues for coins
im skipping some fine details, because he did so much stuff
I hate that boss btw
oh wow whats like one bad thing he did?
he left half of the jade cores to his allies as a signal to meet again (the stuff you get from ye wanshan and the dragon with Lucky Seventeen). But when went, it was you he met. He recognise who you are because a few years back Uncle Jiang helped him escape Tang
can someone explain what the heck was going on in the "River's Fury" side quest?
He hired/asked for help from Li Zhenzhen (Moon Goddess) to kill Jianghu Heroes (they wanted to kill the Khitan Envoys)
but for a big mission the Khitan envoy has to reach Tang territory
that was also the reason why Li Zhenzhen died, the friends and famillies of those Jianghu Heroes took revenge
you should really go read the whole thing. Im not doing justice to Tian Ying's story with my summaries
no i might actually have to LOL the dude seems so ominous and cool when we first see him
No, shes a Face Changer that helps with replacing the face of hanging blades and northern vow members
He looks like johnny depp 🫠
I think this is one of the new quests. I have not done it yet but I will later 🫠
Whaf do u mean by replacing their faces? And why do they want to change their faces?
They went to be a spy in khitan territory
Melting that Buddha was essentialy spiritual suicide in the eyes of the people
joined Chai Rong (later zhou emperor) as a hanging blade
apart from the buddhist stuff already mentioned, he was the assassin who killed the khitan envoy in southern tang
tldr
Khitan Liao want to ally with southern tang against later zhou
tianying is tasked to assasinate the liao envoy in southern tang so that the alliance will be dissolved
gets li zhen zhen to protect the liao envoy on the way to southern tang, li zhen zhen dies killing many jianghu people in the process and branded a traitor.
just so tianying can complete his mission
tianying is then captured in southern tang and languishes there, when he's finally out later zhou was already replace by song and his old boss chai rong already died of illness
What are the benefits to being married?
do all the lost tales and dark surge in qinghe you'll be able to piece together his story
Affection... (Blush) oh and some Emotes
Guys they say the game is based off 10 kingdoms period so did the sects in the game exist in real life?
The sects are fictiton
so that they wont get recognized when they infiltrate the north
for the ones we can buy in shops (not pearls), those existing ones plus a couple more. As for the paid ones (pearls) theres a handful of em. I dont have the exact figures
A bit hard to say, probably have to read the 10 kingdoms period to know what's different and what's not. For example 1 thing that's different is the last emperor of tang is still alive
its a fictional game based on a real time period
I see
you will see and meet historical figures but theyre not 100% representative of the irl ones
I see ok
you will see historical events but it wont be 100% accurate
its more or less accurate aside from the scaling
Like for for example moonveil mountain does that exist irl?
i mean real kaifeng is way bigger for one... even back in the day
What do you mean Big Z did not throw real chicken in Keifeng???
i cant speak for the all the georaphical features of the land. But the City of Kaifeng is real
geography wise kaifeng is also in the central plains ie flat ground
Oh nice
the devs tried to replicate alot of irl stuff with all the details
the layout of the city is good though just downscaled
Damn bro do u guys like study geography
palace location, design, the temples etc.
But did Big Zhao have a wife ?
Yeah kaifeng was built there to control the river routes. thats why looking at kaifeng its such a weird city
yes
understanding the geography helps understand the history too 🙂
That’s true
then it makes sense why the 16 prefectures of the north were so important to china
he has 2 dead sons, thats why its the prince of jin who will take over next
Miss Big Z :0
and why it was a big thing when it was given away to the khitans
Sad
they're not dead
zhao dezhao and zhao defang die in the next emperor's reign, relatively young
its theorised that the Prince of Jin had them killed at around 20 years old
thats not young
you get married as a teen during Later Jin
that's young enough
they died when he was already emperor
of course, it gets weird when your father was the emperor and your uncle is the next emperor...
yeah, to make sure no power grabs
uncle vs nephew happened too many times in chinese history. and world history of course
Can someone explain to me the story behind the river master/roaring sands story?
All I can grasp is that the lady (I forgot the name) might have turned into one of the “dragons”? But idk the correlation between her and the campaign boss
there's a whole joke about how basically almost every emperor with taizong as temple name all ascended to the throne with incomplete legitimacy, or outright usurpers. and it even applies to the joseon kings in korea 😭
yet
hey at least their descendants will continue the Song later on since Taizong's heir wont be able to produce any heir
dude got burnt out running too hard 🤣
ill wait to be surprised when it comes out then
yeah its soon anyway, just wait it out
Will the Yellow river flood ?
Yellow River flood event
it's really wild how much the yellow river could change course
Also will we see Chang'an ?
Gotta get some extra boxes of tissue for hexi
Also is this speculation or a real possibility
Wild Goose Pagoda
so far no afaik
city would be a shadow of its former self after the wars and massacres
Hexi would be further North West, no ?
I loosely know the locations of the Tang/Song prefectures from CK3 all under heaven
THIS IS CN's MAP. BIG SPOILER, this is to scale properly, i just sticthed it up.
changan would lose its strategic value forever, too hard to supply when the breadbasket of the empire shifted to the east and south
North West is Hexi, Next to Qinghe is Mohist Hill
kaifeng was way easier to supply, but geographically defenseless against the liao/jin/mongols
Hexi chilling by itself lel
Map is gonna be massive
there will be a reason for that, but yeah
it's far af after all lol
Hopefully player base stays high and whales keep funding game 😂 im here for the long run
Give us ...uhh I forgot the prefecture name the one with L in the south ... Lots of jungle white river Delta
Hexi is huge but relativelty empty even compared to Qinghe
lingnan? like modern guangdong*?
Is hexi technically now w the khitans? Its pretty north, if this is a big spoiler dont tell me
no
Yee that one, listen I have an easier time remembering the rivers
Hexi is China's road into Arab lands, Kithans are more pure north
Ty for educating my poor geography bum self 😂
ah it's pearl river
The Kithans where step people, kinda like Mongols
remember Hexi isnt current time. Go read about the Hexi Protectorate and An Lushan rebellion. Hexi will be more epic if you get the references connected to em
khitans are north/north east, there will be another power rising in the northwest. but not sure if we will see it in game
Song dynasty was really gimped in controlling strategic territory lol
Any good resources or just google about that? Man i really wanna get as immersed as i can
just general google, wiki is fine idk bout yters
W are in Division Era
dm-ed you a link to read @crimson cave
MC won't live till then lol
yeah. they are technically around already, just not their time yet
Just let me drink this quicksilver potion and I will !!!
I grew up in the states so know poop about Chinese history, was curious to see how my hometown contributes to this story but its so northeast i dont think it matters as much
me lying down on a river of mercury
which province? like modern day province
the khitans are probably occupying that region lol
Oiii Senior don't horde all that immortality, share some share some
bro you think you're the first emperor or smth 🤣
all the mercury belongs to me
Longzhou aka modern day changchun, this place originally part of three kingdoms of Korea; just looked up, i guess it was part of liao dynasty
But really far from the current story regions 😂
ah changchun
"You met me in a very Chinese time of my life" ah statement
it's like prime jurchen manchurian area lol
China had so many different cultures to fight back then
absorbed many and changed themselves too
Yeah i just checked, longzhou wasnt even part of the sixteen yanyun prefectures, but still controlled by liao dynasty
Like me and @nova bluff s mercury
we going transcend from being just Celestial Mortals with this amount of mercury
I guess after the 3 korean kingdoms split and tang and one of the korean kingdoms (more modern day korea aka silla) fought against the other 2, my region just opened up for giggles and grabs 😂
Rip man 🤣
Bummer was really hoping to see maybe how they portrayed my region in story 😂 too far and irrelevant
gotta wait till ming dynasty
No matter how Immortal, you are still in the Palm of Buddha
Bro i am chinese but know didly squat about my culture 😂 american high school taught me one chapter about chinese dynasties and then said mongols ate everything and boom
i mean. they're not wrong about that 🤣
it's all good man never too late to start learning anything
Beijing is a patch if grass or something at the time of the game
nah it's been settled for a really really long time already
capital of the prefecture usually called youzhou
You sure ? Hrmmm might confused it with h some Steppe land
also capital of the yan kingdom during warring states
Ahh
nah beijing is south of the yan mountains, northern central plains
Hello everyone how are you doing
Can't sleep
that's why song was kinda f-ed when the khitans got the northern prefectures. it meant they lost the northern mountains as a defensive line
There's a problem in the game I want to ask about it anyone know the solution or not
dw they probably butchered the rest of world's history too, not just cn's
horsemen come riding straight into the plains
@mental ermine is educating us at this late hour, i am soaking in the knowledge
North mountains where piss poor but he'll if a natural Fortress
i'm just yappin
im fine but i cant stop thinking about the Battle of Changping. Thanks for asking
how about u
i like how there was a reference to this in game
It seems like very excited
Well I have a problem
I can't run in the game you know like I'm slowly walking just walking
Did anyone have this problem before
Hold shift
🤔 for controller you can just toggle it
I'm playing it on mobile
oh idk about mobile, sorry
Thank you for help
Send a screenshot
Swipe further?
i am stuck in celestial sieze quest that noc is not interacting wha to do
That's not the correct channel
Please use #🌱beginner-questions or contact the game-support if you encounter a game-breaking bug wherewindsmeet@global.netease.com
press Z
wikipedia has pretty good pages about chinese history, the ten kingdoms to song to yuan dynasty parts in particular
Liaomao get bodied - khitan soldier probably
tanguts to mongols: nah i'd win
"It's berserkin time."
chronologically, do all the msq kaifeng events happen before we do those campaign quests like Ever-Normal Granary and Jinming Pool? Or is it all kinda mixed in together. The mood of the story feels like it's jumping a lot since I'm kinda just doing things as they come
Jinmijg is probably after, others during
Tfw clicked lore video accidentally spoiled myself like a fool. Ahhhhhhhhhhh I regret everything sobbing 😭
Relax, there’s more to come and spoil. Save your sobbing for the rest.
so those who know about the story in the cn server or from the cn server in this dc, do we get to meet zheng e in the future story or nah?? im missing that guy so bad
You want a spoiler? Will you sob afterwards?
YES pls i am prepared to sob as long as i get crumbs of zheng e
i already sobbed in the past cause my favorite characters died so im used to it tbh...
HIT ME WITH IT
What CN level do I need to read the game in chinese? At least comfortably?
ok i also need this cause im even planning to learn with hsk to understand but i think kinda high level cause this game really takes up historical parts and includes a lot of elements from it
HSK?
There's some classical chinese here and there
I have baby grade chinese
Cooked
it's a standarised chinese profiency test
similar to jlpt for japanese or topik for korean
I spent 6 years in chinese school, I don't know how to read.
My parents wasted their money Ong.
Where winds meet comes out, I bust out the dictionary and start reading 💀
tbh my parents also put me in chinese kindergarden cause they have chinese descent but i remember nothing from that so i get ya
HELP I can just imagine you looking at the dialogue and the dictionary back and forth
I speak and understand chinese without issue, main problem is not knowing enoug vocabulary. I can kinda guess tho
with the amount of chinese characters, i pray for your brain tbh 😭
Is there a story play back system? Or quest log? There are some stuff I missed. Also Big Z's identity I knew, but Ying Ying???? I clicked off that lore vid so fast and I am like shii gotta play the rest now.
It's not that bad
You only need like 700 ish

as far as i know nope i think
i tried searching for it to replay zheng e quest cause i DID NOT now he was going to be here but oh well...
oh 700 is not bad
i wonder if the lore drop is so bad that waynifer taking quite some time
i probably gonna sob all night if the spoiler is THAT bad...

Can someone tell me why zheng e decided to steal his bff's identity?
Idk either I was a bit lost too.
I just know he went from spoiled brat to bad guy
||After his fam died. It doesn't make sense to me why he'd want to be Master of Grain||
oh ok i will try my best to explain
wait did you guys know about all the backstory between shen yilung and zheng e or do you guys want me to go back ALL the way from the start of when zheng e and shen yilung relationship started to sour
i can give a tldr but i don't mind explaining the long way
cause he's a fun guy
tldr please
for a tldr, he decided to take control of the granary to ensure that the people didn't starve in his own way. it become twisted ever since because of shen yilung's brother betrayal and the role of granary control (which was used to be zheng family) was handed over to the very family that killled his family
so there we go i guess
not sure if i have to put spoilers tho
But didn't we find out that ||there was no grain in the granary?||

does anyone have the screenshot of a letter from wen wuque to aunt hant. It's already gone for me
We will meet all of them again
If you can read chinese mwahua, then you can play cn game
i thought he actually distributed them to actual places where it was needed(?) or maybe i also missed something...
time to open an alt account to replay i guess
YES YES YES THAT IS ALL I NEEDED TO GATHER MY STRENGTH
Yes he smuggled it all to ghost market
Ohhh makes sense. Wow i have a crush on him now
oh yes! that was the place i think. one of the reason i like him sm rather than hoarding he sent to the places needed
HEHE welcome to the zheng e fan club
Well it was ember of the east's plan though, for the most part
the plan we learnt through the letter in the house when we first met him right? i had to read sometime to get it. though im not sure whether he was motivated by vengence or still have a bit of his hopeful ideal when he was executing that plan he's kinda like a changed(?) man now so imma be his supporter still lol
my delulu ahh
Does anyone know when will the nameless general be added?
Maybe a mix of both
He seems connected witht he river master too and his wife, still don't know their full lore
perhaps i really want to know more of his lore tbh but i am willingly to be patient
I think next month, when the last legacy is released
oh i haven't done the river master quest so i WILL defintely be opening all my ears and pay full attention to that
thx for the heads up!
Yeah there's some Zheng E lore and he's actually quite close to them
Mostly in the updated character bios
ZHENG E LORE MENTIONED
i always go to the character bios everytime i login to zheng e to check him so will definitely go read them too
zheng'e was actually adopted by the feng family in roaring sands (one of the 2 the river master clans) and after zhu yu died he kind of had another mental breakdown
Can someone explain to me the story behind the river master/roaring sands?
All I can grasp is that the lady (I forgot the name) might have turned into one of the “dragons”? But idk the correlation between her and the campaign boss
What's the jianghu exactly?
I still dont understand the full Zhu Yu story
it's kind of like an underworld, but instead of being associated with negative stuff like the mafia, it's more like a "separate world" or a martial world defined by personal honor instead of the imperial law
please zheng e please my young wander is kinda homeless
It's like an afterlife then?
What do some people mean when they say they have dreamed of the jianghu?
no not really, it's not a literal world you can step into, but a metaphorical world
I think the closest thing I could say is like... it's like the hood? HAHA
Jianghu wanderers could be legendary heroes or people consumed by avarice, it's just a secret community filled with martial artists that exists alongside the surface/daily life
Think of it as a different way of life
When governments fail to do its job, people from the jianghu will come up. Delivering their own personal Justice.
Thats why the jianghu is more relevant when the government fails to do its job.
for westerners, murican; when ur local government is bad and aint doing nothing? you go to the Corleone family and ask them to right the wrongs done to you.
for uk, idk call Mr. Shelby lmao
without the crime anotations ofc
That personal justice I assume could be either negative or positive? As in, too extreme or not.
Considering what's mentioned above about some people from the jianghu could be ones consumed by avarice
Like , it's not always "good" people
yep, a huge theme in this game is that nothing is black or white
what may be deemed good as others could be bad to another person
Yeah it is personal justice after all. Tho usually its a "Hero" who sees something wrong and tries to do right; even if by helping they make things worst lmao
yeah no black and whites, this aint a comic book where we have clear lines of who is good and evil
The defining aspect of people in the jianghu is that they seek freedom and honor
The freedom to do what they please and to follow their personal code to the fullest
So the jianghu is more of a path of life some people can follow
oh and being strong yes yes
doesn't matter if you're a beggar on the streets or a widow, if you've got martial skill, people will respect you
Remember when Li Zhenzhen was protecting a Khitan Envoy because Tian Ying asked her to
Jianghu people went and tried to kill the Khitan Envoyu
which means Li Zhenzhen had to kill those Jianghu Heroes
because they didnt know Wen Renpu has a plan for the Khitan Envoy to Die inside Tang Terittory, not en route
which ultimately caused her death too
So the goodness of actions becomes more subjective
yup, personal justice and honour
Li Zhenzhen will do whatever Tian Ying will ask her because Tian Ying saved her as a child bride
The Jianghu Heroes that Li Zhenzhen killed were trying to kill the Khitan Envoy because theyre the enemy
I have never seen a game with as many depressing stories as this damn game 😭
😔
Blind to the World
Li Zhenzhen waited for 3 years and Tian Ying couldnt wait for 3 days 😭
I rlly wanna know the story abt the river master but I haven't connected the dots yet
I only did the campaign and the river lost chapter story nearby
Wasn't she already dead for 3 years?
yeah, She waited for tian ying to come back even after she was dead, thats why she wore a wedding dress before dying
and finally when Tian Ying saw her in the wedding dress it reminded him of who she was (because she was wearing a wedding dress when they first met)
but she was already dead 😭
I dont want to spoil anything....
Main story is a 4/10 for me
They expect you to instantly connect with the NPC in the 1st few chapters.
Like a cruddy mass produce murim manwha
The mc is stupid too
Gameplay 10/10
Story below average
L take but I respect your opinion
Maybe expound on why you think its bad? which NPCs? what makes the MC stupid? to see your views better
Not enough story time with ruby to feel an actual loss when the village is destroyed and she got killed
Also think L take but not everyone would find this genre interesting so I understand
MC is too guillable
Mc is 16 years old
yup
I like murim.
Manwha murim does a great job..
But manhua...
It's too over the top. Too many over exaggerated names to the point it's cringe
explicitly mentioned in game btw
Mc also grew up in a bamboo grove without Internet. Being gullible comes with it
well that's how murim manhwas are if you don't like the genre it's ok
yup and aunty han + uncle jiang kinda sheltered him in blissful retreat and heaven's pier to ensure he's safe so it's a given
not everyone is born intelligent and street smarts
I'm still invested in slop.
I'm even about to read another slop called
"I licked a dog inappropriately to become a billionaire."
tf?
Fair point.
These are in dark ages where Education isn't common. So I guess I can understand why everyone in the story feels so. Below average
Education still isn't common today
Well saying the MC is dumb without knowing he'sonly 16, sheltered his whole life means you don't really understand the setting much to call all the characters dumb lol
