I just finished the Jinming Pool Campaign and was entirely shocked about how awful the EN translation is. How come it can never decide whether to call the 五牙大舰 as 'Quintadent Warship' or 'Five-Toothed Warships' lol. Overall the localisation for that particular campaign is weaker than anything else in Kaifeng and Qinghe, and it's very obvious they relied on an AI translator to get things done.

In the revelry hall quest which i asked who is the woman, before we enter the hall, we speak with a nine mortal way disciple right, it mentioned something about lists, Faceless Ones, and the jiangnan this that and I think the gist of it is that they're hunting Aunt Han?bso starts the quest where we had to infiltrate and find this jiangnan envoy inside, also at the end where we talk to the pretty girl who escort us to fireworks, MC said "ah so you dont know the faceless ones? The less that know the better"

No... the faceless ones are spies and the list is a list of spies that travel north to Khitan. Aunt Han used to work for the Palace of Annals by helping people change their faces. Those who suceeded venture north to become spies. Those whose procedure failed were forced to hide underground which we also encountered while exploring the underground area of Blissful Retreat. The Aureate Pavilion attacked Blissful Retreat because they want this list of spies. Allegedly the list is now in Velvet Shade hands and our MC wanted to destroy it so the spies will remain anonymous and protect Aunt Han.

However, over a decade ago, General Wang Qing died because he was turned into a zombie after He Ran unknowingly sent him the Dawn-to-Dusk poison. Jiang Yan was forced to kill him. But the Aureate Pavilion spread rumors that Jiang Yan killed his father, which led to him being hunted. For some reason he found the MC and the jade. He ran away afterward and met Aunt Han. He then raised us in Qinhe for over a decade before he was called to save Tian Ying.

He's not a real historical figure, but he's a pretty famous guy in WWM.

However, at one point she had a disagreement with Chu Qingquan, likely because she didn’t want him to leave for the north to become a Faceless as well. She and Chu Qingquan fought at the tower, but Tian Ying used that chance to steal the Water Lady scroll. Feeling betrayed, she cut ties with the Palace of Annals and with Chu Qingquan. After that, she met Jiang Yan and the baby MC. Seeing that Jiang Yan didn’t know how to take care of a baby, she offered her help and became our second parental figure.
