Yeah, I’ve run into this in several Discord servers.
The biggest problem with systems like this is that when a conversation naturally drifts slightly off-topic, the rules expect everyone involved to immediately move to an off-topic channel, finish the thought there, and then return to general. That expectation is completely unrealistic.

It's just causing frustration and ruins the mood for everyone.
