Most of their apps are designed primarily for PC-sized screens, but you can usually get around it if you put it in landscape and turn Desktop Mode on (at least in Brave/Chromium browsers).

I wouldn't recommend it. Lots of accidental clicks and hard to grab onto sliders and such, but if that's all you got...

The Concept: "The Living Tabletop" (See attached visualization)

While my first post addressed how we interact with the world, this proposal addresses who we share it with. I propose a "Director Mode" where Genie 3 supports asymmetric collaboration:

Screen 1 (The Director/DM): Controls the "World Prompt" and environmental variables (Weather, Lighting, Chaos, Monster Spawns). They act as the "Engine," generating the reality in real-time.

Screen 2 (The Player View): The resulting video stream.

Screen 3 (Player Actions): Where the party interacts with the world.

The Synergy: Imagine combining this with the Face/Eye Tracking I suggested in Part 1. In a D&D session, the DM types "The cave collapses," and Genie renders the destruction. The players, using Gaze Tracking, frantically look around the collapsing room on their screens to find an exit.

Why this matters: It transforms Genie 3 from a solo "dream simulator" into a shared social platform for RPGs, education, and collaborative storytelling. It allows one person to build the dream while others live in it.

It's going to be weird. But I do for sure expect this to become kinda a new thing for the games industry and more. You can already see the path. I think we're not far off from having something like that Matrix UE5 Demo running entirely on this AI. The real question to me is if this could somehow be converted to a UE file or game engine compatible build. If it's purely generative then it's only in the cloud. You would need your own server farm to do this locally for a while if that's the case

it is my assumption that you can think of the frames and control inputs as just parts of a conversation with a language model. you could save a sequence of 60 seconds as latents or some such but until Google achieves a greater context length, it will only ever have 60 seconds of short-term memory, and you'd need to rely on a sliding context window in order to not have things break down, but that would result in the world forgetting about things over time.

Can ignore doors in your worlds if you just um—don’t look at them. Turn the camera away from the door while forcing the character against it. When you turn the camera back you’ll usually be inside.
Had a world end abruptly when I popped through a wall.

Text in the Environment section is fairly obnoxious, but you can use that to name buildings ie all big box stores named “Goobis Store.”
Text in character section acts more like a thought bubble, but you can manipulate it into displaying character names above actors among other things.

1. Some worlds were black screened (like in the image).
2. The “Notify once queue is over” doesn’t send me any notification.
3. Sometimes if the world is generating and i switch tabs, and return after a bit, then the 60 seconds timer start from 0 (even though the world has passed a few seconds after generation), and ultimately stops midway (when the actual 60 seconds are over)
4. The world cuts off if it lags

Some feature requests

1. I wish there was an automatic World continuation System, where when the world ends, Genie automatically generates the next world from the last frame of previous world. This could create a continual world experience.

2. Multiple image input could be really cool if I could input multiple images (that includes the character, environment, and style) and then ultimately the preview generates a single image perfect for my prompt. Currently if I want to input an image with both character and evironment, then I have to externally generate it using image models, so if it could be done in one place it would be really cool.

3. I wish the preview image generator generated images which are not too complicated for genie, because sometimes it generates too much over-detailed or fancy images which makes the world quality significantly less from how it looked in preview.

4. A "Personal Library" for worlds would be great but I found an option called "Enable History" from the three dots menu.

I don't know about Genie in specific, because it might be a bit sooner since I'd hope some of the legal hoops overlap with Veo, but... EU is often last of major markets, because of all the laws they've put up.

remove mannequin, make sure image is large enough to be uploaded as a sketch and it shouldn't be too bad.
If you are wanting a specific vehicle, try to include that in the image itself, and make sure it is oriented correctly; ie if it looks like it might roll left to right, it usually will once the world starts.

had luck with this as a prompt (the GTA stuff). Added a section that specified which vehicle I wanted. Maybe this with your image can make something cool
