True, but there are some specific applications where image to video works the best. Like in my case I try to bring back historical reliefs, statues and mosaics to life using a photorealistic AI render of the original image and then animating that to produce a cool video that gives people a glimpse into the ancient world

only big advantage (for now, in terms of video) is the great image quality. VEO is the king at everything else, just the image quality for me is crucial since I want to use the outputs for commercial use and can't use if we don't see the details clearly

For me Its definitely worth it because I have a commercial use and I get more than $200 from the video outputs. But for anyone that doesnt have that kind of returns, definitely wait for Google to give us better image quality, VEO is a much better and smarter model able to follow the prompt more accurately and do complex movements

That might be the best AI "mini short film" I have ever seen. I actually find pretty much all AI shortfilm boring and lacking consistency, didnt allow me to actually feel like it was a real thing but this one is insane 👍 If you could make it an interesting 3-5 minute thing it would be awesome

Thank you so much. I think this is what makes Veo 2 such a game-changer. The consistency in the outputs is better than any other model. It gives you videos you can actually use. They must have trained their models differently. One thing I've noticed is that they don't have a large variety in certain characters or elements, but that's what makes it strong. For example, I just prompted "claymation Christmas Santa" and it gave pretty consistent character each time. Other models shoot out a different version of santa in each output.

Veo 2 vs Sora ( One try test, I generated one video with Sora, and I used the first video that VideoFX created instead of picking the best out of the four.)

The first video is by Sora, the second video is by Veo 2.

Neither of them seem very good with consistency, but I deffinitely prefer the second one.

It also wasn't a very good prompt for these models.

yeah like if you do something in Recraft, an ai image generator, but put in a zero width non space joiner, then it will literall generate text inside of the image you create that is ussually some sort of garbled mess that looks like "TEXTBOX CANNOT BE EMPTY" or something like that. i suspect a similar thing is happening. someone probably forgot to put the input text code part in the right place, so its generating that as text inside the video
