Unfortunately that isn't always the case. I can use the same prompt, multiple times, sometimes there's audio, sometimes there isn't. It's an issue at Google's end and they need to sort it out. Far too many people are wasting credits.
I had a good day yesterday, most of my videos came with audio. I've generated 6 today so far, all with no audio.

You see, this is what annoys me. Yes, we understand there will be problems that need ironing out with new models. So why can't Google refund wasted credits or reduce the subscription price until the model has improved?
This is happening with most AI websites. They're just taking advantage of people jumping on this new amazing tech.

I think you’re misunderstanding the context in which VEO3 was provided to you. It’s true that it doesn’t always generate audio. The way the AI functions is that it imagines sound. If the visual input doesn’t evoke or “inspire” sound, the model may simply choose not to add any, even if you explicitly ask for it.

Think of it like a tiny band inside the machine. If they look at the scene and find nothing to play for, they stay silent. There’s no guarantee that every video will have audio, and Google never promised otherwise. That means, technically, they don’t owe you anything.

I’m not saying you won’t get a a credit refund for those. Maybe the Google gods will show mercy. But more than likely, they’re sticking to the terms of service. And by that standard, again, they don’t owe you a thing. That’s just the truth. Im sorry. 😞

Yes, this is the terms of service they created. It doesn't excuse the fact that they're not addressing the issue. We all accept it's not going to be perfect, it is basically in Beta.
But, if people bought a subpar item from a shop, would they not be allowed to ask for a refund?
The main reason why people have purchased a subscription for Veo 3, is because of the audio. This is the selling point.

You can ask for a refund, sure. But they usually won’t return credits. In some cases, if you’ve used compute minutes, they won’t refund anything at all. A beta product is expected to have flaws, and as long as they warn you about them, that’s all they’re legally required to do.

When you accepted the Terms of Service, you agreed to that. So you see what I mean. It’s all written down, and you already signed off on it. That’s why there isn’t much either of us can do.

You better bet that Google is completely flawless when writing those terms. They have teams of lawyers. Heck, if they didn’t, we wouldn’t be able to use Veo3 at all.

Also credits and refunds are held by two different entities within the company. So you can definitely ask for a refund but credits are not put back into your account for no audio. They might award us all a few credits back if they see there was an outage. (hint hint Google) lol 😝 but yeah that’s about it. The people that work here don’t have much power over refunds. So I would email their support. I have personally never asked for a refund from Google so I don’t know.

You are completely right in what you say, and we as individuals are accountable when agreeing to something. But Google knew alot of people would sign up without really agreeing to have a high percentage of their videos generate without audio. But yes, we didn't have to accept these terms and ultimately it's our own responsability.
For most people this is an expensive hobby. All I'm wanting is for Google to step up and treat their paying customers with a bit of respect.
Google is huge, but this is how they do business.

You’ll need to be a little patient. People aren’t always available to respond right away. They have lives, responsibilities, and work. Also, if they don’t know you, they might ignore messages, especially with how many Discord scams and hackers are out there.

A better approach is to just engage naturally in the conversation here. If someone’s interested in connecting, they’ll usually let you know or ask you to message them. That’s how friendship tends to work.

I have a repo loading issue. I added my one GitHub account to Jules to test it out, and now I want to remove that repo and add another repo from my other GitHub user account. I removed the original repo but when I add the new repo to the new GitHub account, Jules askes me to authenticate, which I do but then it redirects me back from GitHub to Jules but it never loads the newly added repo? Its stuck in some sort of loop, if I select add repo I go through the same process again with the exact same result. Any guidance will be much appreciated?

The real way to test the AI is to have it zero-shot entire Operations from scratch.
All the tasks, subtasks, tests, etc.
If it can't do that, AGI needs to figure out what work needs to be done and then do it by itself.

From what I've been able to research up, Firebase made a silent update on their end that has caused the authentication tokens to be invalid. If you were running this on your own server, you'd have to modify the token creation code. But, if - like me - we're running on Google's platform, we can't access their backend. So, I guess every Canvas app is broken until Google fixes it.

Has anyone else tried to use VEO 3 Frame to Video and found that it's nearly useless because it shifts color, shadows, vibrance, maybe even exposure and becomes extremely contrasty? I've found a workaround that I do on my upresed versions of the videos. (I upres from 720p to 2k using TOPAZ Starlight Mini, it's way better than using the 1080p clips from google).
