Hi everyone! My name is Paul and I’m studying Computer Science at USC. I’m currently doing a course on Applied Natural Language Processing, and I’m working on a project that helps improve the performance of LLMs on low-resource languages like Hindi and Arabic. Last Thursday, I met with some of the labs.google team members at The Jacob Collier DJESSE Experience in LA and I was thrilled to find out about this community.

I’m huge fan of Jazz, R&B, Soul (Cleo Sol is my favourite artist right now!), and I love to explore different genres and styles of music. I love to sing, play the guitar and I’ve messed around a little with writing songs. I’m eager to learn more about music theory, production and more recently, about how generative AI can be used in the music creation process.

I recently came across this paper "Unsupervised melody-to-lyric generation" by Tian et al (https://aclanthology.org/2023.acl-long.513/). It looks at how Generative AI can take in sheet music, and a lyrics prompt to generate lyrics that fit in with the rhythmic structure of the song. It seemed super interesting, and I’m wondering how feasible it would be to implement something like this myself. I’m going to spend some time looking at this and similar projects this spring break. In case any of you have any inputs on how to approach a problem like this, I’d really appreciate it!

Hello all🌟 I'm Yufan, I'm an artist/designer working at the intersection of architecture, computational design, media art and music. Generally I call myself temporal architect/spatial musician cuz I use spatial musical structure to fine tune immersive experiences and environments, arguing accessibility and cognitive process. It's in VR, and the moment I've found out about quicker ways to generate images without losing too much quality with the various new models that came out in the last 5 months, I knew that I wanted to incorporate it into my project.
The main idea being, using image generators to make images in near real-time, and then make a VR experience around it, by creating textures and images that fit to the actions and choices of the player, hopefully creating feedback loops.

Hey everyone. I'm Vilden.

I'm super glad to be invited to be here. Google's AI has blown me away ever since I tried it. I build websites and apps. My most recent app took 2-3 hours following a Gemini web app guide. It's a python script to text my twilio number anytime an important update occurs on a RSS Feed at a particular website. I had to use Vertex and Google Console, and I also had to do some training in order to select what is considered an important update.

Right now, I'm working on integrating CarPlay with Google Gemini. The device is a Carpuride w901 plus (which has an independent, internal android 12 installation). I spent a lot of time toying around with a Carpuride device that had no internal Android, so Gemini flat out wouldn't work. So, I bought another device. This particular model can download apps on its own. It can do anything an Android 12 + wifi + BT touchscreen can do. My Google Pixel mobile phone isn't needed!

With that in mind, I'm working on having the first AI CarPlay in my car (powered by Gemini). First I want to replace Google Assistant with Gemini's. Then, I'll see how far I can take it for a 9" display meant only for navigation, calls, and music (without breaking any rules of the road), haha. Some examples: sometimes I get ideas while driving and need a sophisticated notetaker... or I need an email summarized quickly and read out loud to me.

But I've always wondered the idea of a browser agent that does it through a simple prompt. Today I found Project Mariner on a Fireship's video. I was awestruck by it. Hey everyone! I'm successfully using AI video to convert leads into clients. I'm excited about the future of this space and potentially using this video generation tech for more. Veo 2 looks promising. I work with major studio VFX supervisors and some technical Academy Award Winners.

I've used AI to update websites, generate landing pages, etc. Of course I use standard LLMs for copy. My work kind of runs the gambit across Arts & Humanities. My company digitizes museums, art, and artifacts so that data must be interpreted as well. It seems I'm going to help revive some lost languages in 2025, so I'm excited by one of Google's upcoming tools which could be helpful in this department.

I'm also building AI Agents for myself & others, so I have to stay on top of the latest tools. Early access to other tools has helped me gain a competitive advantage and land more clients. I'd love to make Google's list.
