After more or less 50 attempts, I've finally completed the blood moon ironman. I gotta say, after rewatching the run, I did get quite a bit of good RNG with this run, since I didn't have to deal with too many scuffed enemy encounters or poor interior generation (which was good because after about 5 hours of dogshit RNG in the same grinding sessi...

Yo, i havent played v80 beta yet so idk whats new in the update (dont spoil me), and idk if any of my mods are broken (lets hope its easy to fix) so if there is any issues please wait for like maybe 1 or 2 weeks depending on when ill play the update

@mystic coral Blood moon seems to work fine but there's some bugginess with cadaver bloom respawning. I haven't tested if the feiopar works but the gunkfish definitely respawns correctly

Fox idk, i did not managed to spawn it with imperium, but it should work
And for the bloom you are correct, this enemy seems to always be "on standby" by reading the vanilla code, and is invisible and will not interact with anything until the "Burst" function is called, where it will spawn for real
The burst code requires a player which makes sense as you can imagine
I can probably tweak something to make it work since i already managed masked enemies respawning in a similar way

Would it be possible to get an update where we can rename Majora Moon in the terminal / monitor to something less explicit? mainly for consistency with the vanilla moon design option
Something like Incoming, Deorbiting, or Crashing Moon
Hm complex, but what you can do instead with a bit of tweaking is: install Combined weathers toolkit and use it's config to create a copy of Majora Moon with a different name
You need to keep Majora Moon enabled or else your copy will never spawn, but it should work

They have interesting mechanics and are just fun

I had something written up about feiopars for someone else in another server who was having trouble with them but forgor to post it
Figure I might as well post it here lol
Some important notes for the feiopar:
-Staring it down will eventually make it retreat behind trees or sometimes just retreat altogether. Maintaining eye contact with the feiopar is important to prevent attacks. This is more effective if you have clusters of feiopars grouped up together but less effective if you're surrounded at all sides, during which case you will have to swap your vision to alternate between them to prevent attacks, which is a bad position to be in.
-Understanding how feiopar attacks work is also important. They are much more passive than brackens and will only attack you if they get close enough to you while you don't have eye contact with them. If you do have eye contact with a feiopar and run into it, they will always flee and run back into the trees. You can use this to your advantage by intentionally running into them to scare them off.
-When getting attacked by a feiopar, simply whacking them with a shovel/other melee weapon will always make them back off and retreat into the trees, so having shovels on hand while traversing the terrain can be beneficial. If you have no melee weapon, getting distance away from them fast or taking falls down into other areas (for example jumping into the vow canyon) can get them off of you.
-If you are getting particularly bad vibes from a feiopar and you have a melee weapon, you can intentionally wind up a shovel hit, bait them into attacking you by staring away from them but keeping them in your peripheral vision (similar in concept to a bracken, but instead they will steadily approach you instead of trying to flank), and then striking them as soon as they're up close. This will also scare them off and insure you deal a tiny bit of damage to them in the process as well.
-If you absolutely have to kill one, you have 2 effective options (as far as I currently know): baiting them into a shotgun blast, or luring them to the ship and trapping them with stun grenades, both options are last resorts and should only be utilized if you 100% need to.
World first Pacifist/Equipmentless Blood Moon Ironman has been completed (attempt counter was 15 to 20 attempts, maybe more maybe less)

Old run had about 775 at the final quota, this run had 836
And I beat this run about 10 minutes faster roughly
I wanna preface this run by explaining the rules of pacifist/equipmentless in order for people to understand the restrictions of this run:
Pacifist
1: I am not allowed to kill any enemies directly (killing with a shovel, stop sign, yield sign, shotgun, knife, easter egg explosion)
2: I am not allowed to damage any enemies directly

So there was a bug involving the new implementation of enemy infestations in v81
The new implementation is supposed to block rare creatures from spawning during infestations, that way things wouldn't become too unfair
But it was bugged before this patch, where this change would apply only to days where there weren't infestations, and the change would not actually apply to infestation days itself
Basically, this made it so that rare enemies could not spawn in on every single moon in the game unless you got a infestation, where the opposite was supposed to be true
Reason I'm explaining this is because I'm taking down the original Blood Moon Ironman Pacifist/Equipmentless completion video off youtube and redoing the run on v81.6
Mostly because I cannot in good conscience say I beat the challenge knowing that this bug was taking effect, and was making the run so much easier

keep in mind this affected like mostly only dine because the weights of every enemy in there is low
