everything you are asking can be configured in coderebirth config file
so if you feel like something is spawning too much, you can chnage its values
I mean it can be configed but still would be nice to have good defaults

the defaults are way better than they used to be, esp for inside traps and enemies
outside traps could use some work imo, that's the only weak spot
it's also really hard to find a place for so much content when basegame only has 11 moons. very easy to overcrowd each level
i mean fuck, I have issues making 6 entities insert themselves subtly into the already existing moons I can't imagine finding a place for 38 traps and 57 enemies (hyperbole)

What i'd do personally is do manual weights for vanilla moons and for modded weights either do really lenient and subtle tag weights or ask moon devs personally what CR content they'd like to see show up in their moons
For example I think mistress and that bunny fella are cool asf and they should show up on Dreg uncommonly
so say like, 15 weight bunny and 10 mistress
10 is alot, we have mistress like 3 on most except mansion
that is v tedious tho so tag weights is probably for the best?

In running lgu im noticing that we wont seem to heal above 100 with any methods of healing within the mod (ie scp nurse lady, the bone saw blade weapon whatever it is called healing with r, etc) as the nurse stops at 100 regardless of charges, and then with saw if you are above 100 then it just wont continue to the players max health (which in our case is 160)
also, is oxyde counting as a day on sell or no? i noticed in testing to see how it worked it did not count as a day when we tried
it was loading the save and then immediately going there so i could learn how the planet worked
oxyde is sell moon so no it doesnt count as day (same as gordion)
Also the healing with LGU is cus most mods capped healing at 100 because thats the vanilla cap, and not to cause overheal i think

Been playing a bit with a friend.
Found some bugs with this mod besides the wallet misplaced on hand:
- Autonomous crane no longer makes your body disappear when crushing you, but it still gives you the crushed body scrap
- If 2 players try to open a metal crate at the same time, or while one is opening it and other interact with it, the door no longer open, but you can pick the items through its walls.
oh, one last thing, idk why, but on client Oxyde costs 24, and it can't be found on the vanilla moon list

They turn back on after 30 seconds
And you can change their spawn curves in the config so they spawn less or more often on specific moons, and in less or more amounts
or at the very least make them VERY RARE

They’re fun on specific moons, but it sucks in places like offense where they often just camp the ladder and you can’t get to the fire exit

I just translated and compiled the mod, and the file size decreased by 10%. Why is that? ( coderebirth.dll file)
I think it would work great if it was an 100% chance on the start of the second quota, as my issue is sometime it can just appear right after you land on first day
It would still give the player a single quota to see some other bits of content before Oxyde jumpscare, and would also make it a bit more impactful as after first quota your crew is likely planning on going to harder moons or just jumping to paid moons (rend, titan), so to now have this option to go somewhere new off path after you expected no new moons

The biggest issue I had was reading the logs, it has the same issues the base game has with trying to read the manual, if you could log logs into the terminal to read the way Wesley's Moons does it, it would be nice
This does not fix the main issue with no one wanting to read, I'm not sure how to fix this as Wesley's Moons also has this issue, the tapes work wonders for telling everyone lore and stuff, but the audio logs get dismissed so fast like normal logs
I'll I can think of is to move some of the logs to a tape form like the guide to Oxyde tape, maybe move ||the safe opening log to be a video tape of some workers trying to open up a safe or security footage of a Scrap-E being taken (like in the og log [I think it was a Scrap-E?])||
Also if anything, it would be nice if the Cactus Budling was unable to spawn cactuses in the house on Oxyde, but I also don't know how hard that is so it would be nice if possible

I think the night shift mechanic kinda shoots you in the foot there
It discourages people from visiting outside of selling day, by which they're gambling their entire run on whether they can handle the oxyde spawns or not
If they dont feel up to it, they sell at normal company / galetry
I almost feel like it should be inverted, with the Night shift appearing on selling day and allowing enemies to spawn, and selling being forbidden on other days, so visiting it outside of final day is for the shop/gals, and whatever else you may add
Also gives people time to learn the moon layout and explore at their own leisure, without fear of enemies spawning
With that, you could also introduce a mechanic whereby the first visit to Oxyde on selling day will not have a night shift, giving people a chance to learn how to sell there properly
In mine, i made it a 100% chance on Embrion specifically
So that if people wanna consistently unlock it, there have somewhere they can go to for that
there is incentive, but the lore in CR is completely optional which is why people don't read it
I don't think it should be made obligatory to read BUT I also don't know how it could be made more prominent
w/ Wesley's you're basically obligated to at least take in some of the lore

quickest solution that comes to mind is adding a "speech bot" that was (in lore) meant to give speeches to company employees, it has a mechanism you can feed text to and it'll read it out of a speaker
you can use that to expose written lore pieces to a lot of players at once in a somewhat diagetic manner
it also wouldn't interrupt gameplay, probably
but that depends on if you have a dedicated room for it or if you have the announcement come out of every single speaker on oxyde
you can even make it a beautiful woman if that sells you more on the idea

@wise stag I got a question for you in regards to Seamine Gals functionality; as I understand it, they can ping hazards and other things on various layers and have them appear through walls with a conspicuous texture, As long as an object has a valid layer, would the Seamine Gal be capable of highlighting it even if it has a completely transparent material and no collider?
it uses the renderer so collider isn't needed, as for the transparent part im honestly unsure, the scanner went through like 5 iterations, one of them which did pick up transparency and im not 100% sure if that's the one i ended up using
