Ya the issue i'm seeing is that the intro videos aren't even part of a scene, so it would be a differant implementation thatn what I've been working on. Unless of course it could be injected right before the Online/LAN selection. However there are mods that skip this stuff rendering it all un-used
Another option would be to simply add the video right after the Online/LAN selection inside the mainmenu scene, there aren't any mods that skip the main menu

Ya emblem doesn't touch the old one besides hiding it, the othermod modifys the original. Try toggling the bool enable see if that helps

That's probably why I can't recreate your issue, try a new profile with just AC and emblem and see if the bug persists
From there you can add mods back until one recreates the issue, let me know which one it is and I can try to find a workaround

I mean when you go back from setting menu/lobby search, the header stop glitching(in the main menu). but it work again after you leaving a game/save file
If you try to change the size or position of the header in real time while Glitch is enabled, the change just applies for a split second and just resets

After a bit of research I've determined there is no easy fix for the mouse being slighly off the wrong position. Could attempt to make a math correction, but then different screen sizes will be better/worse since we'd be calculating based on distance from the center of screen. Best possible option would be to reduce the intensity of the distortion effect to make the issue less pronounced.
What I'll do is play with the scaling on the lens distortion so the mouse positioning isn't offset nearly as bad close to the edges of the screen, that should make menus a little easier to use while still getting the distortion effect.

What kind of colorblindness? I was thinking of making an option to recolor the red submenu backgrounds. The way it might work is you would pick a main color and the 3 or 4 halftones like border and background would auto-calculate themselves. That way the feature wouldn't need like 5 config entries.

Background images only stretch to the vertical height, you gotta give it a wider image. If you turn on Experimental radiant taper, the edges will at least blend with the background color. The highlight background colour should have an alpha value as part of the color setting, it would be the last number of the 4 so 255,255,255,0.5 would be 50% transparent white

Put it in your config folder
Read the instructions file that is in the emblem zip, you need to upload your theme to the thunderstore. Using config folder will not work because profile codes have a file size limit and an mp4 will easily go over that.

Well with ffmpeg it's very easy to get below the limit. Especially since the resolution is very low

No fix currently, the loading screen isn't really a thing we can adjust the timing for, just the way unity is setting the game up
Try setting up the typed loading text slideshow and see if the text continues to type out during that pause, might give a little bit more engagement right before dropping into the ship

Yepp, that was a rabbit hole. Can't override styles because it's global and will affect in-game stuff.

Well theres one issue we are facing rn
If you use LR or any kind of audio mod that has menu sfx in it it’d overwrite our empty sfx that silences the OG menu music
So LR music would play and the background music would also play at the same time :/

havent really messed around with the soundapi to try to do that not sure how i'd disable it through my menu (i've got a vague idea but havent actually messed around) but i think theres still a possibility that one overrides the other since both use Bongos api 🤔
LR has a config, pretty sure they had a setting for main menu
well yeah thats one thing but some people might not mess around with configs since they just want to enjoy the game after downloading the mods and if theres annoyance regarding two mods overlapping in sfx they'd just delete one of them and im fairly certain menus would be the one to be disabled since LR is an ingame mod mostly.
tbh idk how LR set his config up - im using my own audio mod 😅
You could ask Bongo to add a way of detecting if an emblem theme is active. That way LR can automatically turn off menu music

Alright, so I've made a change where the normal menu color config can be reused for all submenu buttons, now users can be tortured with even more horrible color palettes

This way people will be able to reference mod pack changes and also have an in their face Bug Log.
I ask you for this as I would love the test and hover coloration from Emblem to work with it. The only options I can see are you add it or someone else creates it and uses your mod as a dependency and ties into it.
This is a pretty cool idea, Imagine the most optimum would be markdown format if possible, just a flat file. Configs could be boolean enable/disable. string for a menu item title and the path to that file. The tricky part is how to do multiple files and how the config for that would work
I mean for those plus menus should be a config where you can disable them too.. i wouldnt want an overcrowded menuscreen tbh 🤔 not a bad idea tho! Its deffo very useful, but i’d also like to have a clean menu 😅

I think I have stupid
been rereading the instructions thing and I just can't get the headers to work
Trying to get it to select from a random pool of images but I get nothing each time
Kinda got it working but I still don't really get how to make it pull froma pool of images
you just need to have /Header/Header1, Header2, Header3 and at the end of the config theres a way to have them as a slideshow
So no way to have it show up as a separate image at launch?
Cause what I'm trying to do is have a different Header image show up randomly from a pool of images at game start
You can do that with Watermark Remover but there doesn't seem to be a way to use that as a dependency for a pack which is why I was trying to use Emblem

The path is relative to your emblem folder
so that means you only need to put the part of the path after /emblem/
the same way that the defaults are setup
so just clear everything out after that?
if you want multiple images selected at random then you need to just specify the folder

So if you put a bunch of differant header logos in a folder at MyModnamestuff/Emblem/Header, then all you need in your config is Header
then as long as all your images have the correct prefix they will be chosen at random

The amount of times I've been asked to fix the driftwood because other mods did something they weren't supposed to was way too much, trust the mod creator when they say its not their fault, they usually know what they're doing

I'm guessing so, logs only save every couple seconds so you wouldn't get the actual log unless u had the console pulled up (MAYBE)

yeah the backwards compatibility is breakin and a couple of error msgs will show, but it should still work
cuz the mod is still depending on 1.2.0 where as emblem is at 1.3.2 now
im going to make an update next weekend hopefully Emblem will have its next update done too, but i dont want to rush DarkB either
by then the issues you had with it should be gone, and also the colours are coming and a couple of extra loading screen stuff too hopefully ^^

As you know the og colour is orange - but when you leave the game the screen there is green
Maybe you could go with the inverse colouring route there
So the colours in game for my scp theme is green and the inverse colour would be for the quit screen is like purple (iirc?)

Both those screens id like the borders to be consistent on, and follow the config for main menu. Also the menu items would be consistent with main menu

FYI LCBetterSaves appears slightly borked since it hasn't been updated for 4 months I dunno if I'd be using it. This is while launching vanilla so if anyone wants to poke the dev for that mod to fix this, please do so.

I mean it's cool, I enjoy the renaming feature but I don't want to break the UI for people that still use it, it has over 2M downloads
was thinking about trying to recolor it too but nah, we will leave it as is
Main reason I use it is for having more than 3 saves

I think the errors in the log are just because it's looking for gameobjects immediatly instead of after the mainmenu scene is actually loaded
Also it doesn't remember the last used save and kindof doesn't indicate which one is going to be used if you jump in without selecting one

Do not add or modify the Darkbrewery-Emblem/Emblem/Defaults folder
Instead create your own folder that Emblem will use
You may name it anything you wish but it must reside within BepInEx/plugins/
Ex: BepInEx/plugins/Custom-Plugin-Theme/Emblem/MyTheme/
The organization structure beyond /Emblem/ is up to you!
In your config, point to your files relative to your new Emblem folder, ex:
- MyTheme/Header123.png
- MyTheme/Background
- MyTheme/Video/Awesomevideo.mp4
You do not need to include BepInEx/plugins/Author-ModName/plugins/Emblem/
The final structure being uploaded to thunderstore should look similair to this

Just added LobbyCompatibility support for the next update
Still working on a few bugs LobbyC clones some objects but the listeners do not clone so theres some visual issues to fix
Not doing a hard dep though, i actually despise forced mod downloads
Fixed the bug with the refresh button but as it turns out, LobbyC doesn't actually mess with it until you click the join button so thats gonna be a pain in the butt
