It is a flag for Lethal Level Loader. I still pass in the configuration regardless, but it should be ignored if things are working properly.
Hmm, maybe it spawned the turret right on the edge of the nav mesh? I have nav modifiers in the walls here to prevent them from spawning inside. You know how the game is, it doesn't do a collision check to see if something can actually fit at a location, just has to be touching the nav mesh for the most part.
does this interior work for the new LLL version?
as far as i can see theres only small issues so unless theres somn big im missing i'll assume yes
Wait how do you get it to work with the new LLL? Config is disabled there. I have seen PoolRooms spawn once though, but it seems to be extremely rare

1.2.0 had a bug where the configs couldn't generate
1.2.2
You need to set the Enable Content Configuration to true for the settings to work

Iirc is says something like "config is handled outside of LLL"
Mine doesn't regenerate it, it's messed up
I actually deleted it a few times today to regenerate it, didn't seem to change anything. Other interiors show up though

Pushed version 0.1.21 which is more of a compatibility update for V50 and updates to conform to the changes to LLL.
There is a change to the entrance in this version, but the other rooms are still "cooking" 😉

GenerateAutomaticConfigurationOptions will be true and not use my config if UsePoolRoomsMoonsConfig is false, which it is by default.

Not really, I personally don't have that problem but those who have it recommends downgrading LLL to 1.2.1 to fix it
Okay, I tried that last night and people constantly disconnected when trying to join despite having the same profile as me.
TerminalFormatter mod fixes it for the time being
at least for me
Mimic is a mod which very specifically works with the contents of the factory or mansion interiors. For some sort of support to exist the mimic mod creator would need to work with us directly to support each type of exit prefab through some generic means. The best hope is Lethal Level Loader having a mechanism for us to submit our generalized exit prefabs for a mod like mimic to request from LLL to be used by the mod to inject the fake doorways.
There has been talk about this. I will support a generic exit doorway style if the time comes.

And it allowed Scarlet Devil Mansion to make mimics for their interior
Seems the mod itself now supports the idea and Lethal Level Loader will try to implement some support. I don't see any documentation other than conversation about the API.
I realize updates for Pool Rooms has been slow. It has been hard for me to work on it since we are in crunch mode at my studio trying to release our game. Hopefully I can bang out those new rooms this weekend and maybe look over this mimic implementation in Scarlet, but no promises. 🙂
Does anybody else have the issue of poolrooms being too bright? About a month ago they were really dark. Now they are way too bright.

@real spindle So ive heard you fixed the main entrance being ‘blocked’ when trying to enter with your interior, im having the same issue and dont really know where to start to fix it

sadly not, the entrance generates, just without a interact trigger
This only happens sometimes also, specifically on moons such as rend, adamance, and my moon, summit
I had it happen on experimentation once with Cozy Office
But yeah I'm aware it's not smth that happens all the time
I've seen it with a toooon of interiors, ever since the first ones were made

To generate it in LLL's config you need to go into a save

Strange. I do test it each release and it is working for me. I wish I understood this config stuff better to help out. There isn't any documentation afaik for best LLL implementation steps.

Well I tried reenabling it as a test and had issues with it lagging custom interiors in the past

i think poolrooms is causing dungeon desyncs issues on every moon i land, only removing it helped (unless it was just a coinscidence or lll issues)
I'll keep you updated if it ends up a different culprit, but removing poolrooms solved the issue instantly
Not sure if known but dropping down here without stamina makes you stuck basically. stamina doesent regen so you cant jump up
and i cant crouch through this to get up unfortunately

Someone needs to get Batby in here to help fix the file/ram usage of this one. There isn't that many tiles yet it's one of the biggest interiors around. Unless there is some other weird reason for that. But it needs optimization either way.

either way he's not responsible for every interior around, it's up to the guy who made this or a volunteer (with the consent of the creator)

i added more scrap spawns to keep things less spread out, ive optimized the filesize by 70%, improved some visual details like the water shader, and im planning on adding unique ambience, dungenplus support with generator presets, and more
also hoping to work with pedro to get some new tiles
also, maybe ill finally add that pool noodle weapon. i think it would be really funny if it just does no damage lol

my favorite tile is probably the palm tree connectors, i love the fake windows that generate on the door blockers

I always loved the idea of those windows. Because the outside of the moon sucked, you needed that fake portal to keep the spirits high.

hey all, haven't forgotten about this! been super busy with other projects but i plan to resume development on my end really soon
if you guys have any ideas for what I could add, I'm all ears! currently ive:
- remade the water shader using the one zeekerss uses for LC
- touched up the mirrors with a shader so they aren't just white planes but look somewhat "reflective" (i did my best)
- added a brand new stinger (which should work with revisit stingers)
- added extra scrap nodes to tiles that were lacking to keep loot less spread out
- made lockers more likely to spawn items
- made security doors more likely to spawn as they were very sparse
I think the apparatus room could use more lockers

I have the impression that unfortunately many recent mods that add interiors and/or enemies do not fit that well into the game

i wanted to work on this one specifically because artistically, this one stands out to me the most atm (other than lc office)
the fake windows and stuff and all the blues everywhere add a lot
again its just my opinion, but I for one for example find the ut99 interiors a bit too empty and lacking of that claustrophobic impression

Question, is there any way to affect gravity in a tile? Like, say, have a room with a pool - but flipped, so the water is on the ceiling (from out PoV) but still acting like regular water?
On the topic of potential for additional rooms, this strikes as an example for a two-tile-high connector, where a ladder or whatever goes into the water, but the water sticks to the ceiling on the lower part, so it’s like you’re diving into the pool but come out the other side upside down

put the water on the ceiling

Well that’s what I was wondering. If you just flipped the tile I assume the water will stay because game logic, but is it possible to reorient the player when they enter the flipped half of the tile?

Yes, so see the picture above - imagine like an hourglass, where it’s the same on both ends but top-bottom are mirror reflections of each other. The bottom half is just the same as the top, but flipped (so the ceiling is the floor, etc.)

The tile starts that way - either a two-story tile or two tiles that can only connect to each other - where the bottom half is an upside down mirror image of the top
you can parent the player to stuff, so you could hypothetically parent them to the ceiling when they reach that half of the room
and parent them to the floor when they reach the other half of the room
sorta kinda acting like switching gravity
If yes, then you could just do a full on Red Rooms tileset where you cross the threshold down and suddenly everything’s inverted
Easy way to increase variety, at minimum just change the ambient lighting to red and boom, double the tiles, double the atmosphere. Then you can tweak as needed
unfortunately (or fortunately for the case of the cruiser), I'm pretty sure gravity works in global space, not local, so you would probably also have to modify the gravity vector
I think the trash can in the bathroom should have a scrap spawn inside it
maybe these bits could connect better?
also maybe this pool could be filled 50% of the time

I am working on an update right now with some changes I wanted to make anyway. Trying to get the interior water from the mineshafts to work but still isn't working ack! Once it works ill push out a new version.

I got the water working and I am doing some other tweaks / checks before a release. Here are the current change notes:
* The Sauna room always has a light now and improved lighting
* Pool water added to main pool and fixed pool water in the bridges room
* Water in main pool room is sinkable / drownable and will hinder the players movement. Other knee high water areas will no longer hinder the players movement.
* Reduced dungeon generation path size which should improve loot distribution
* Reduced the number of bathrooms spawned
* Removed extra stalls in female bathroom for gameplay reasons
* Reduced package size by enabling crunch and ensuring textures stay at max 1024
* Assigned tiles tag to most ground surfaces and now allow tiles surfaces as a valid sinking surface```

Just a heads up incase you haven't checked, With the post-processing and resolution crunching LC uses textures set at 512 actually look super fine a majority of the time. I know a few authors have done 512 as a baseline then raised in the event they notice in particular texture looking rough. No stress if your happy with the current results though
and crunch compression 😄

I gave the pool ball a different kick curve, more of a lofty curve which holds in the air a bit

I could try. I suspect it just finds end caps with the fire escape global ID and places the fake fire escape. Since pool rooms uses a couple different variations for different wall types and doesn't have a hole on those end caps it doesn't work all that great by default. I will try the mod out and see what it is trying to do.

Is the water in the shallow hallway parts supposed to slow you down? I feel like it did at one point but didn't really seem to when I went through earlier. I think the full pool did though, which is why I'm a bit puzzled.
No it isn't, it is just for looks and splashing. It was slowing the player down at one point but most people hated it so I got rid of it. The full pool acts like the usual water in game.
