I really don't want to remove ship windows tho
I didn't fiddle too much with the ShipWindow configs, though I didn't really see anything in there that would be an obvious fix. Think it considers them out of sight upon spawning them in, but then it fails to update/render them for some reason. That's just my guess though.
MelanieMelicious 2 Story Ship came with some kind of windows, so we just started using that instead; it works fine, if you don't mind the extra space & the second floor.

I'm running older versions of both ShipWindows and BCM i think, and this issue is not happening for me

It is unsure since I'm not having this issue while running BCM & ShipWindows together with the versions I mentionned just up
But removing ShipWindows apparently resolves it according to messages above

Yeah, older versions of ShipWindows don't have the bug; 1.4.0 and below works with the latest version of BCME.

Would that version of ShipWindows also work with the two story ship mod? I have that one as well

Having to rollback until 1.4.0 version of ShipWindows seems very very odd, if you did not have issues until recently then it's coming from another mod that gets incompatible at some point
Maybe trying to rollback versions of BCM(E) instead? Even though rolling back ShipWindows is not a big deal I don't think it added features in a very long time
Yeah, it's pretty random . I did quickly test the latest BCME and ShipWindows on a new blank profile and still happened, so it's these two that are conflicting. I guess you can downgrade either to solve it, though with BCME, I'm not sure how far you back you need to go.
I previously ran 0.18.3, but that started having the same issue as well on my new modpack, so an older version than that probably.

Though I may be forking the mod if I have permission to do so to help maintain it on my pack and for future updates on the game.
How exactly do you plan on forking BCME? It has NO public github repository and to my knowledge decompiling a mod and re-uploading it to thunderstore is against their rules

It would be pretty awesome if there was the heat mechanic from the old brutal company (That way incase my friends go to the same moons over and over again it will be more hellish than the last)

Another alternative to your "abusive" friends would be to use the mod "Diminishing returns" but sadly it doesn't make the planet more dangerous

is there a way to have it be a rare chance (like 10 percent) or whatever per day, but have it only give like
1 modifier? rare chance of more?
In Difficuly_Settings.cfg theres an option Weights for bonus events
set Event scale amount to 0, 0, 0, 0 and Weights for bonus events to 90, 10 if you want only a 10% chance to get 1 event per day

Anyway you can manage the amount of events per day in the DifficultySettings config, allowing you to set the base amount of events and chances for extra events
i believe the panel always looked like that no matter how much events are there
Is there a way to blacklist a moon from having events trigger? Galetry from Wesley's Moons in this instance is another company moon like Gordion and I just had an oldbird event trigger, making me realize this was an active issue.
The mod should just check the SelectableLevel.canSpawnScrapAndEnemies
Doubling this, it'd be nice to have a way to blacklist moons but BCM is not being updated anymore so, either gotta deal with it or wait for one of the forks to do that

I don't think it's been the first modded company moon, but it's part of a popular enough pack to actually be used.
Yeah I had kinda realized BCM had slowed down, and I knew BCME was a thing, but I thought it was a fork, till I heard about BCMER and now I realize it just keeps getting handed off, which is fine, but I was using a 5 month old version (granted I haven't played much in 3 months)

Is it not possible to change the scrap that spawns with events? I tried to customize the scraps of GoldenFacility, or any other scrap related event, and the config always reset the scrap and ignore it?
@tired cloak I saw that you asked something similar earlier last year, did you manage to get a way to change the scraps spawned in the events?
It is, actually. If you look in the scrap spawning events, you can change the scrap which spawns to be whatever you like, but you must use its internal name.
Note that the config will refer to the item as what it originally was supposed to be. So, for instance, if you change Cash Register to a modded diamond scrap from another mod, you need to remember that whenever the config refers to the Cash Register in that particular event, it'll refer to the diamond you changed it to instead.
The same thing goes for changing entities.
Alrighty, thanks a lot. Have you ever stumbled apon the Masked event? Whenever we got this event, the masked ennemies are just straight up rushing towards players at the beggining of the game, even if they are inside they rush outside to players. Like they already have aggro on the player since the start

Yo, @ivory current. Ik the mod might be a little difficult to keep in maintenance with frequent updates and changes to everything, so it's honestly understandable if you've stopped with the updates on it;
is it okay however if you make a mod separated from BCM that only includes the More Entrances event?
It was such a good thing for adding more possibilities to make it out of the facility if we went too far in; I honestly think that'd make for a great mod to have even by itself.
It originally was a standalone mod but I scrapped it and put that one feature into bcm, I don't really have any motivation to mod lethal so it's unlikely I will do this.

You could turn off all events that are not the more entrances event. It does get rid of the other events but can simulate the idea you're going for.
