I don't think you can because technically it wouldn't be Herobrine anymore
if I understood it correctly, Herobrine has a chance to use the Minecraft skin of a player
it can be set to 100% according to the thunderstore page

does allowing other players to set their ragdoll skin influence which skin Herobrine uses in these occasions? or the host has priority in that case
yeah there is a section on the player skin part of the config to set the percentage of chance that he uses a player skin

You can manually set your name by using the config setting
And then use this to increase the chance to 100

the code provided tho might have 2-story ship enabled, which in this clip is either disabled or wasnt actually in the pack yet
That mod can do funny stuff with the ship nav mesh byeah
Similarly there is problematic pilotry which causes random ship landing locations, but again in that clip it hasnt taken effect, its a default location
I wouldnt bother posting if it was from that
its a known issue with that mod
i've definitely seen it on moons other than Solace tho, and solace is normally pretty good

Yeah there's a special nav mesh that I am using from the ships, that some modded moons seems to not pay attention too at all

it is important to mention because it does affect the navmesh, and is in the code i sent despite not being in my pack during the clip i sent 🙂

Hey is it a know issue for herobrine to follow you through moons? I've been having an issue where it doesnt correctly get rid of the entities in the moon, and herobrine seems to usually be one of them.
It even followed me to Gordion, along with some eyeless dogs.
something im incredibly curious about, burning query
so i read some patch notes, read config variables, everything, and ive found in-game myself and through the configs (in-game first by complete surprise) that the mod has the capability to read your minecraft skin through user lookup
however, something's bugging me; how does it do it?
if it reads my steam name, it should try "wario" or "gamerdick69", basically any name that isn't "sherb"
my mc username on java is sherbasherb and one of my previous names on steam was sherb, but i also looked and there's an account with an alex skin called sherb (which i ended up encountering after the skin for my actual account showed up.)
tl;dr: how does it do the skin lookup? first skin-swap encounter i had used my actual skin despite the fact it then used an account skin afterwards that matches my older steam name and never used my actual steam name
(my normal skin is a peppino skin, i ran into that first. i have a clip of me running into an alex skin, the skin of the "sherb" account afterwards)

hey i found a bug with the herobrine mod where if you pick up an item shortly before he takes you to the nether it empties your inventory but the game internally thinks your still holding the item bc its still attached to your hand, which breaks your inventory and you'll be unable to interact with anything until you rejoin the lobby (might fix if you try dying but i havent tested it bc i was going solo when this happened)
Does herorbrine ||listen to your voice and respond on the signal translator? because I asked for a tp as the only one left alive and got a "no" from it while being haunted by herobrine lmao||

still got this burning question, my partner had the same happen to him and his steam name doesnt match his mc username yet it still showed his actual mc skin
(it also replaced his ragdoll with his skin too since he died to herobrine)

Is there a way to make Herobrine spawn only on certain maps? I tried adjusting the LLL spawn weight, but it doesn't seem to work (he doesn’t spawn on a map set to 100 but does on one set to 0). It looks like it's only using the values from the mod's main config.
This mod is absolutely bonkers, in a good way, I always felt ghost girl was a neat feature but it could be so much more... and then I found this mod. Lots of shifts were made with Herobrine and he still finds way to jumpscare us or do new things.
This enemy may seem overpowered at times, which is the case really but in a "I could end all of you whenever I want" kinda way and toys with us most of the time.
Really well made mod, I would be curious how many hours were spent on this project

You probably found a solution already but by default Herobrine spawn rate depends on moon difficulty (shown in his .cfg file) and you can adjust those)
There is also a multiplier if played on a Minecraft tagged moon
Haven't tried to set manually since I like this feature more than the regular spawn% for each moon
Glad you're enjoying my silly lil mod, about the hours spent I can't remember. I just know I was working on it every day I had some free time
You're too humble, Herobrine has been a Top 5 LC mod for a while. The AI is just seemingly remarkable, it never fails to surprise and scare me.

@lusty mauve It seems like whenever a Minecraft corpse is spawned it destroys the player's headcam which causes ManualCameraRenderer.LateUpdate() errors to go off every frame, I would hope it's an easy fix

Yeah I only pieced it together cus I saw in my log that someone died as a MC skin right before it spammed lol
Have you tested without other mods too isolate the issue?
Just tested on a profile with only Herobrine and Kill Bind
Dying as my MC skin caused it to go wild

I even tried setting the multiplier to 100 for the Minecraft map, but even that didn't make it appear

Found some errors in the console while testing in my modpack for brine boy here (Along with the don't touch me mod), thought i'd let you know just in case.

I'm gonna blame Imperium here since the errors come from Imperium
Herobrine ones prolly need looked into though
but the first stack of errors is all Imperium
How it feels when the mod designed for testing stuff/troubleshooting has trouble:
