Also, I mentioned this a few times, but I'm not against future-proofing the mod and swapping to LLL, I just don't know how to. LE had a really easy to work with SDK, so I ended up using that.
If there was an easy-to-digest tutorial or SDK for LLL, I'd be more willing to dive into that, I'm just fluffy-brained and don't really get it.

I don't have a module folder in the plugins section. I have another folder called plugins and that's where the files for fumo company and LEcore are
I think LE normally comes with that folder, but even if it doesn't, my mod definitely unpacks with it.

LECore goes in the plugins folder on its own, like normal.

LECore has its own folder, I believe. It shouldn't go into the modules folder with FumoCompany, at least not normally.

Make a special folder for all the files that came in LECore and put them in there. Put FumoCompany.lem in the Modules folder.

You don't technically have to put LECore files in a folder, but I do just because it keeps the thing tidy. The important part is fumocompany.lem goes in Modules, but LECore files do not.

I lean toward the latter, but there's always wiggle-room. I doubt most people would consider me a real touhou fan. I just think fumos are neat and played a few of the spinoff games. Most of what I know is just cultural osmosis.

Icon is the pack's picture on thunderstore. Manifest.json is the version stuff, and Readme is the description.
So you can ignore those.
The ones you want are LethalExpansion.dll, Lethalexpansion.lem, LethalExpansionCore.dll, and LethalSDK.dll.
Those are the mod files.

I think I'd like them to mostly be touhou memes, personally, like how most of the exceptions are either memes associated with the character, or phrases they actually say, such as Momiji's awoo, or Patchouli's mukyuu. Still, I'm always open to suggestion. I appreciate everything you guys have offered and suggested.

Ok, just did a quick look through the code. Long story short it seems like a big pain in the ass to do that. I could, but it seems like it'd be way more effort than I'm willing to do. My change to get LECore working was literally 2 lines of code, making it disable the original LECore would be a lot of extra work that tbh I don't really care to do. I updated the description to have all caps text telling people to disable it if they're using my patch

CreativeContentConverter and LethalLevelLoader are unfortunately unreliable at the current time. I'll keep an ear out to see if it becomes more possible in the future, but for the moment, we'll need to keep using the LE patch or preview.

I just wanted to play with some friends and don't know what to disable to make some mods work, saw that some mods got deprecated and changed from LE to something else but idk about Fumo Company because in the thunderstore page it still lists LE as a dependency. So, should I just forget about LE altogether or what should I do?

Yeah, just for the time being. I've got a working version of LLL-loaded Fumo Company that I'll put out if I have to, but it has some wonk shaders due to the conversion and/or unity update, so I wanted to fix that before I uploaded it. If it ends up taking too long, I'll upload it for the time being.

Put that in a 'Fumo Company' folder and it'll be loaded by LLL.
I'll work on the official one while I'm at work today to see if I can get it sorted out and uploaded to Thunderstore.
It works normally, although I notice the fumos sometimes look a little crusty with the shader issue. LLL sometimes spams about negative bounding boxes and other parameters, too.

Hey, so idk if anyone's actually played with this mod since it updated to the new dependencies, but @rotund siren if you were not aware the game softlocks whenever you try to leave the company building with the fumos enabled
i spent the last 3 hours turning mods off and completing quotas to have it softlock until finally i turned off the fumo mod and all of its dependencies and it worked with no issues. if its already known apologies for the ping but it ended up taking up my whole stream trying to troubleshoot so i'd like to see something good come of all that time spent lol

I used Photoshop to make a base, as well as a lot of editing to make it look 'real'. I used AI with two Fumo LoRAs to flesh it out. It was a lot of going back and forth to get the right look. I was tinkering with it when I wondered what Silhy'd look like as a fumo.
If I ever meet someone who is a good with textiles and embroidery, I might commission it.
And then, I will truly become fumo

So uh quick question is there any config file that lets you set how often the fumos tend to spawn? I and my friends seem to be having the issue of fumos taking a majority of the scrap spawns sometimes they straight up are the ONLY thing that spawns so we've been trying to figure out if theres a way to lower the spawn rates

their spawn weight each is also already 1 - 3 for each fumo
the other way i can see to make this even(which is faster) are adding a bunch other scrap mods to balance the pool
Yeah, unfortunately, I'm a bit on the simple side when it comes to mod-making. I don't really know how to add a config, although, even if I did, the sheer amount of fumos and other items (there's 89 at this point) would make it a very long list of single items you'd have to change the values of.
As Arterra mentioned, we did have a rarity crunch at one point, so every single fumo and item is limited to between 1 to 3 spawn weight, so they're already really low; there's just a bunch of them.
That said, even with fumos as my only scrap, I usually never have issues with finding vanilla scrap. I usually find them at an estimated rate of 1 fumo for every 4 vanilla scrap.

i believe LLL has a config helper class though i kinda made my own config stuff for immersive scrap, a lot of copy paste since its 40~ items, ChatGPT helped a lot lol

Good to know. To be honest, my thoughts toward rarity has been splitting fumos up between planets, so certain ones only spawn on certain planets. In my mind, this would make them less common, especially with their low rates, and give more of a reason to go to different planets.
I think the last time it was brought up it seemed people weren't keen on the idea, though.
Just cuz you'd then have to plan for custom moons and thay becomes a huge hassal for you
If anything, I'd probably just set all modded moons to the current values for all.

Yeah, if anything, people usually complain that there are too many fumos with just LLL and FumoCompany, so I am not sure what may be interacting with it to produce none of them spawning. If there's other configs affecting them, like Quantities, then that's probably the right direction to check in.

I use Lethal Casino as well, and it would be rather funny. That said, that'd be something they'd have to do from their side, I'd think, unless they have some sort of means for other mods to affect the probabilities of the games.
I think there are a few mods that add Blahaj already. That said, feel free to scan anything you want to submit for adding; the only things I guarantee are fumos, but sometimes we add other plushes, too.

I'd like them to be fairly short and nothing too abrasive. You have to remember that people are going to hear this anytime they pick up or swap to the item, and some people will spam it a bit.
That being said, toss anything you're interested in with it and I'll check it out.

Does this mod add all the fumos to the spawn pool with a weight? I love it but want them to be a lot rarer, right now they seem to be like 75% of the loot haha

Yeah definitely, min weight you can put is 1 but that would still have a big portion of the scrap as fumos

All the items in the mod have weights of 3, 2, or 1
They can't really get any rarer unless I just set them all to 1. There's 99 of them, after all.
I think it's the sheer quantity of them that distorts how rare they appear to be.
The only way I've really thought of changing it is to split them up so each set of fumos only appears on certain planets, which would cut down on the massive pool available on all planets.
Alternatively, making a sort of 'fumo gift box' that is the only spawning item and making it pick from a random fumo when activated.

Sorry, I was streaming when I was pinged. I don't exactly have a set date; I tend to move it around when my group is playing, really. That said, I'll try and move it up a bit and work on getting a new set of models prepared.
To be honest, since the next item is the 100th item, I was kind of trying to think of something special for it, but I can get another set of fumos added, too.
It had a bit of melting going on, where limbs were becoming difficult to distinguish and melting together or into the surface it was set on, which makes it difficult to separate cleanly. I also try to add fumos primarily, so it might have just been filtered by both of those happening at once. I didn't have anything in particular against it, though.

- The tip of Cirnonium Spear is smooth shaded when it should probably have sharp edges instead
- Cirnonium spear currently does not function as a weapon
- This mod doesn't seem to actually include a regular Cirno fumo - there's a separate mod that adds one but it'd be better to have all the fumos in one place imo

I didn't remove the hat from any of the models; if they're missing a hat, like Flandre or Tenshi, it is because they were submitted that way. Outside of getting a new scan, that's that. Regarding the Cirno Fumo, that is intentional: BadhamKnibbs made the original Cirno fumo mod, so I specifically avoided adding a regular cirno out of respect for him and so both mods could be used together.
I do intend to fix the Cirnonium Spear, though.

I am back in action. Working on fixing the Cirnonium Spear at the moment, actually. As for the questions, I don't think we have an Eirin, yet. The AmiAmi box would be great, as well. As for fumos we need, I think the Kasen one is the only fumo outside of the listed touhou ones, so anything besides her and what's there is definitely on the wanted list. Here's hoping for the day we actually manage to get all the fumos in the mod.

To be honest, the fumo tag on Sketchfab used to be just a handful of fumos, and now it has quite a lot, thanks to everyone's scans. I think that's really cool.

I'm working on a few things still, and I need to go through and test the changes, but I've got these lined up for the next version. I think I was able to get all of them except for the Elphelt plush, and that one was being difficult because it turned out to have somewhere around 1.3 million faces. I'll try to get the next version out soon.
I'm trying to work on the gift box idea, but to be honest, I'm not very familiar with the programming side of things, and while I feel like I've identified the part of the giftbox code that does this, I am not sure how to insert a list of fumo ids to make the copy exclusively produce fumos.
I'll keep looking at it. I might to ask some more experienced modders about it, though.

Which means that the object in the gift box is a part of the allItemsList.itemList defined at the start of the round for the current level, but I don't know if it is possible to make a static itemsList containing all the fumos IDs, that gets called in the case of the fumo gift box, with a random integer to get the fumo id in the list.

What's your policy on non-fumo plushies though?
Touhou fumos are the only items guaranteed to be added. In general, I want this to be a fumo mod, primarily, although sometimes I add others if they are thematically appropriate or if I feel like there's room for them. In the past, I've tried to keep a 5:1 ratio, but that's not a strict requirement.

To be honest, it might have even scaled better. The 13k has a bit of deterioration above the left eye, but at least from Sketchfab's preview, I can't see any on the 2nd one.

Sure, if you're willing to scan it. As Gasto said, we have an existing scan, but I have been having some difficulty getting it optimized because it has quite a bit of tris, as it is. Besides, we always accept new scans; they may not all make it in, but if we can improve models, that's always a good thing.

Is there a way to change the fumo's spawn chance/weight? I know it says they are all like 3 weight or lower but for some reason (maybe another mod?) they are extremely common for me, around 1 fumo every 2-4 normal scrap spawns. It would be nice to know if I could make them rarer so it's more of a surprise finding them like other joke/collectible type scraps I have in my pack.

probably 50? pictures of the body and then more detail pictures around all the undercut areas

her back is more decimated than her front since you cant get too close to the back
you can probably reduce the resolution of her textures to get a ton optimized as well

Hey, I know some of you guys messaged me about the updates some time ago. Without going into too much detail, I had a bit of medical thing and I'm still going through it. I got a bit of work done while I'm recovering. I have a playable 1.4.0 with everything tested.
I did have to revert the change to the HDRP pipeline that was originally made for compatibility with runtime icons; it really messed with the appearance of the fumos, so I prioritized Fumo Company. Thinking about adding icons myself as a compromise, but that's tabled for now.
Spear is fixed and working. All fumos were tested and have survived the assets being accidentally purged.
Honestly just thinking about there are any last second additions I want to add. I kind of feel the same about it getting a little out of hand with the amount of non-fumos, but I haven't made a decision yet on that.
No box in this one. I also need to give the SCP recipes a once over since someone mentioned an error.

I think Runtime icons natively supports all fumos now, they seem to work for me, they changed something about how it was rendered

I tried to find the "JAOOOO" sound effect for the Meilings but... I realized that the original one is covered with laughter (it's from M1 grand prix) so the isolated sound effect itself doesn't exist 😭

- The Cirnonium Spear should work as a weapon again. It had broken during the LLL transition.
- Fixed Typo in the SCP914 recipes, which should fix compatibility with Badham's SCPFoundationDungeon mod.
- The lethalbundle file is now called "Fumo_Company.lethalbundle" when it was previously called "FumoCompany.lethalbundle". This is because we had to rebuild the assetbundle. It shouldn't cause any problems so long as you make sure only one (the new one) is present in the mod folder.
Should be updated. There's some that I'm still working on, like Cirno Snail and some others, but they'll get there eventually.

Honestly, if there was a version of this mod that was just self-contained within the Touhou-verse of things, particularly ESOD, I'd 100% download it again. I have to be very selective with what I include because the larger a modpack, the more unstable the game (that, and having a way to just bundle every fumo into a lootbox type scrap item would help keep custom scraps and vanilla scraps diverse)
I thought that scrap mods weren't too unstable
The mod doesn't introduce any code whatsoever, only new meshes. At worst, several hundreds of fumos in one space might have some impact on fps, but should not affect game stability.
As for the lootbox thing, I'd have to figure out how to add it. It's far more complicated than adding fumos and ironically, would introduce new code.
I return back to Lethal company recently and I notice non of the new scrap was added, including the fumo company mod

LLL is a bit more of a pain to work with though with a mod like this that adds alot of scraps, as you'd need to manually name each item and specify a weight, and then copy + paste that for each moon
i personally prefer LQ, because you can set the weights for the items in the global config (as well as other properties like value if you want), and then have all the moons parent from global, and then just click to add each scrap to the moons you want (you dont need to know the exact names, it just tells you)
Though fumos should be spawning on your moons already

u can just share the modpack code
The modpack code includes all configs, including the LQ stuff
If you already have LQ, and the scraps are modified for any of the moons, that means any new scrap mods (or updates to mods that add more scraps) wont automatically be added to the pool of scraps in those modified pools
So you'd need to add them manually, or reset the LQ config etc.
THAT makes a lot of sense.

If you wanna reset it all, just delete the Presets.json file in the LethalQuantities config folder, then launch the game and make a new save or something
If you just want to reset the LQ for a specific moon, just untick the "scrap" part of that moon's config page

I was always concerned with modpack size being borderline unplayable for my friendgroup, which is why the Fumo mod's monstrous file size always scared me
I'd hesitate to call 120mb 'monstrous', but fair enough: it's pretty big.

How many verts are in this model? Lethal sponge's default limit to reduce verticies is 5k and even setting to 15k there's gaps.

I wouldn't recommend using any mod to remove 3d components like vertices from objects, personally. It doesn't take much to ruin models, and performance issues rarely end up being owed to them.
As for why lethalsponge is interacting with this model that way, I'm not sure. I don't use the feature.

The asset ripper returns 14k verts because of how Unity interprets and simulates vertices: 3d models have logical, true vertices in modeling programs like blender. For example, a cube as 8 logical vertexes, which is the true vertex count. But Unity interprets a cube as having 24 vertexes in a mesh because it needs unique vertexes per face, so it simulates additional vertices per each face.
Even so, LethalSponge shouldn't be producing gaps with a 15k vert limit on a model that has less than that, whether true or simulated (5k/14k). There may be something going on, there. I am not sure; I don't use LethalSponge because it caused performance issues.
I digress, though. The difference between the two values is really small. I'd say it is unlikely to be the source of any performance abnormalities.
my main concern was the gaps though i already notified lethalsponge dev. I was asking since out of the fumos i've collected, this seems like the one with gap issues and I asked them if it's something about their algorithm or something about this particular model.

But if you're using LLL or LQ to modify what scraps are on a moon, you can just remove the ones you dont want

In your case it should be pretty easy though
In LQ you just open the "scrap" tab for each moon, search the items you wanna remove, and then either set the weight to 0 or hit the X to get rid of them

For instance the mesh of fat Teto looked completely depleted, idk if it's a vertex collapse error
