I'd have to pinpoint why exactly but using Diversity alongside some popular mod like LR, LLL, AC etc.. when I died as the host, it didn't made me respawn and was spamming the logs with a diversity patch start round or something x) is it known or should I try to get the logs and open a bug report ?

I know in Emergency Dice, there's a dice roll you can get that adds like 100 mines outside the map, and it breaks the codes on screen

With full darkness off theres some filter differences to be seen, but with full darkness on really low the game seems to be close to the vanilla
setting the true darkness setting to 0. so even if it does enable it's intensity is essentially off
but I kinda dig the new filter, nice change

It looks wrong no matter the settings. There's colour banding that is not present in vanilla.
Sure, you might think that it fits the pixel aesthetic. But underlying tech is still very modern and doesn't work well with limited colour palette. I bet it's an oversight though and not intentional.

I like it more tbh, actually now that I think about it maybe one of the vanilla shading bugs are fixed. Maybe you've seen the Infernis pixelated shadow in the middle of the screen at the left of the ship

Like the colorbanding is really obvious here, but I don't mind it as much. Also the game feels more accessible on some of the darker interiors, before diversity they were so dark.
If you like it, that's fine. But there's no justification for it. It doesn't fix or improve anything.
As I previously mentioned, no matter the setting the banding will still be there. Might as well disable full draknes as 0.01 will barely change anything.
I tried without full darkness thank you very much. Not my thing. I can see way too much when it's off.
I mean the dev said they're exhausted after finally pushing the 2.0, give them a bit slack they at least provided a hotfix to help with the problems.

It's probably due to the fact I'm grabbing the color of the entire screen then doing stuff to it rather than the color of the object. This means I'm also probably grabbing the other Post processing and reapplying them .

It's not about resolution. Anyway, the issue is that color depth is lower, which introduces color banding.
To put it in even simpler terms, it looks worse than vanilla. And I don't think we need LC looking any "worse" than it is already.

In terms of interaction between the two, I don't think SLAI actually improves on LEsc by itself. SLAI is more for spawns implemented by moon creators.
However I did just push out an update so that outside jesters don't break and go immediately and permanently aggressive when both mods are enabled :3

The HUD shouldn't conflict with anything since it's a whole thing separated from the rest of the HUD.

I just realized that "GetItOffMe" is only chance based, I thought there would be a prompt or some way to actually influence the chance like Diversity does with how many interactions you do on it but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case right now
I wish Diversity would offer the ability to remove the SnareFlea on your own head as well through some kind of QTE, like the one from the Zap-Gun for example, but longer and harder depending on a certain amount of players in the lobby maybe so that you still have to rely on others around to have a better chance to survive

I actually think it would do wonders for ghost codes to be more subtle. Whenever rapid mode goes off my ears get molested (yeah I know I’m the one saying that) but fr it’s too loud and too much of an event. I also think the door sounds should be very quiet when ghost codes are installed. The lights flicking should also be a lot less intense and instead be more eerie. Who knows tho that’s just my two cents
I mean to be fair this is all configurable what yall just said
And I have done said configs to make ghost codes less annoying
I've never even checked the config tbh. I had no idea you could quiet the doors and adjust the light flicker speed

TS tags are confusing.
Client side could also mean that it affects only those that have it installed.
I think having both SS and CS for a mod that everyone needs makes more sense. That leaves SS for mods that only host needs and CS for mods that only affect the individual with the mod and nobody else.
Client Side means nobody else needs the mod and can be ran without the host because it affects things only the client can control. Server Side means all individuals require the mod because it checks for the files and needs them to exist for the game to generate and run in sync (and function properly).
But the lovely part is some people don't tag it like that. Some mods want ONLY the host to have the mod.... which is a very dumb concept might I add. That makes code sharing more of a pain in the ass, makes people who leave one session with a friend be unable to host without one leaving the game to enable/add the mod and start the pack up again- etc etc
Some people don't realize that when a mod is truly "Client side" - you can run it without the host's knowledge or care. Like the hold-scan-button mod, the sell tracker, etc. Things that will edit stuff on your end because it can, and not care for the host because it sends no packets their way. ... Honestly, there needs to be a new tag.
I guess the best we can do is what @hoary forge stated. If a mod tags as Client-Side and Server-Side, it's a "everyone needs this" mod for it to work.

Diversity is technically Client-side. You can run it without the host. Though you will cause desync for everyone. On thunderstore they mention that server-side are meant for mods that ONLY the host is required to run and no one else.

how ive seen people do it is that if s mod has the serverside tag and explicitly mentions in the page only the host needs it, only the host needs it, but itll disable on the client automatically if its not the host (so that clients dont have to disable it if they're not the host)
