the reason that error is happening is because one of the mods loaded uses EnemyAI the wrong way
its not an issue, just ignore it
probably either the snail or herobrine - since this hasn't happen before

the error does stop after the game is loaded
(in terms of, "hosting" a lobby and being in teh ship)

They're for the voice syncing feature
they couldn't use any of the other god damn library and audio mods? e-e
the snail enemy is instantiated when the game begins, instead of how other enemies are created
which fucks up skinwalkers because it expects EnemyAI to only exist in the game scene
i cant find that in its code

That could just be your pc, I know some people have performance issues with Mirage

it was originally just a masked overhaul mod
It was but it also works as a replacement for Skinwalkers, the dev wanted the mimics to sync the proper voices of the people they were mimicing
I can make suggestions if your interested but I know your a little hesitant to mess with skinwalkers code

I don't plan on changing the mod at all anymore, it's pretty much run its course
if you use Advanced Company you can remove MEO

Yeah inside of moon settings you can go and manually set the settings for Masked to spawn
I set them to be the same as the Flowerman(Bracken) for every planet

and with the few I play with - some never ever take a shovel.

I say it's not entirely essential if someone already has one. What use will it be if 3 of you has a shovel against one lootbug? you're more of a threat to yourselves than enemies
every other enemy isn't much of an issue
It's good to have more than one person have a shovel, especially if you split up a lot
I have been smacked more by teammate shovels than a swarm of angry lootbugs -w -
it's because the damn shovel seems to attack from behind
like if you're hugging right behind someone - they'll just smack you
instead of where the crosshair is for the user
you might just be in the aoe of attack at that point
why is it heckin' behind the person swinging
the aoe for the shovel is a bit odd
probably only happens if you're standing directly behind
that or a mod conflict doing weirdness

Corporate Restructure is a garbage mod tbh, General Improvements replaces it and does so much more
if you want the CR Weather feature then use WeatherTweaks or CorporateRestructureWeather

GI shouldn't touch shit with hotbar, swap speeds, etc
the game already desyncs naturally, don't up the rate
those features are disabled by default

It doesn't cause any issues with the hotbar at all for me

the scroll delay is changed by default

yeh, I use AC with 8-10 slots near the end of runs
you still aren't picking up or dropping so many things that scroll speed reduction is a must
I just set mine to 6 and disable the perk system for the hotbar
It feels the most balanced that way
if you're pedantic about dropping some item for a more-valuable item and you're using 8 slots at this point, you're looting inefficiently and are not breadcrumb-trailing your loot at the entrances of how you came in (but that's just meta-speak)
you should never be full and exploring.
Never, they’re generated and so there’s no real way we can link them because the configs don’t have to have the same name as the mod
You can also have two mods with the same name but by different authors, making it more complicated
I have it set to 6 just so I have slots for a flashlight and walkie
I hope to god mod devs look up their names to at least find out if someone else used it 😓

The only dependencies that only ever caused me annoying issues were LCSoundTool and CustomSounds
Most don't cause problems or affect performance

Well lucky for me LethalResonance was the only mod I had that needed those 2 dependencies before

mirage was basically a “zombie” mod
you can tell by other config settings
but when you died
you turned into a masked
and since you cant get the body back when you die
which is why death-to-masked thing is in the configs..
that means you have a penalty you cant do anything about
I set Mirage to have Natural Spawns and have the setting for turning into a masked on death set to 0

the game doesn't see their masked body as them and can't be teleported if converted from death?

So I prefer having that control whether or not someone becomes a mimic

Now that I think about it- that's a unique problem masks posses as an enemy inside
MEO has the same problem of being unable to teleport masked players sometimes
the outside enemy earth leviathan can annihilate bodies
but masks can basically hold your teammate (and in turn, 20% of your credits) as hostage
any other enemy that kills indoors can be warped in and save the 20% tax
(outside of.. modding said enemies)

once you see lights flicker, you know he's over "there"
you don't know exactly, but you know he has to come in from this one hallway
I'd make it so he flickers lights off randomly - across the map
yes he'll flicker the ones nearby off, but he also does it to random lights until he's killed
so you never know if he actually is coming from that room to your left, or behind you
I'mma actually put that in there to see if they could do that..

i mean i use mirage some ppl have been reporting bug but most have been fixed and it works perfectly for me
I wish there option for peepers rather than modded for all modded enemies. Specially since you usually get 3-4 stuck on you at time and they alert dogs to you.
skinwalkers don't alert dogs.
Peepers make noise on their own that alerts dogs
It would still be nice to have separate option for them. As one of my friends pointed out peepers were always talking thanks to skinwalkers mod as they had 3 to 4 attached to them.
One is nothing bad for the folder, another one is, at least was for me, an unsupported modded mob, like the shrimp from LC_Office, annoying that it spams, but shouldn't affect anything I think

how does this compare to that new Mirage mod that is out? I've heard that they are very similar, but mirage syncs all the voices. i can understand how that would be nice, but i also think its cool if there is only one person hearing certain sounds. what are other people thoughts on this?
Depends on how you word that. There are mods to give insanity of sorts, entities that cause hallucinations, you could setup mirage to never delete audio logs but it'd be desync'd - but they'd hear things others most-likely wouldn't .... etc .,.
I'd advise Skinwalkers if you want people to hear their own stuff o ,o

at best I'd recommend this to be on an SSD minimum - given one is gonna start writing often to memory, and the other to disk - and they're both gonna consistently read/write over and over as you play 😅

ive been using m.2 ssds for both my C drive till my D drive tho
cuz i lost my 2tb amount of files when my HDD decided to brick itself after not using it for a month when i was making my thesis
even after graduating university. i still have a grudge one HDDs
i was so pissed i smashed it with a sledge hammer.
because the expense on transferring it to save it costed more than a new SSD with more size

till they started making m.2s
so i swtiched to those m.2s
they are smaller and lighter

Kind of a weird issue to try to explain, but ill try my best. Im running into an issue where my friends audio is delayed by about 2ish? minutes. Its a constant stream of audio, not broken up into clips or anything, just simply delayed. I ran into this once a few months ago but thought it was just a once off, and that it had fixed itself. The only mod that i have enabled that i know of that records/ interacts with peoples voices is this mod, and i had this mod enabled during both instances. Clip for reference, i have his discord unmuted to see if hes actually saying it at that time, but as you can hear, the audio is not synced up at all

Yeah I get those two errors as well. It seems that the audio folder for this mod gets deleted when you leave the game.
And that means that the audio you'll hear skinwalkers say is only from this session, it can't use audio from previous sessions
is there not a way to have it save audio from previious sessions?

The Skinwalker mod is failing to load for some reason. I do have conflicting mods installed, but they should all be disabled, so I'm not sure what's causing this.... My mod profile code is: 01945398-e7d8-8e67-ccb5-0816d3fc84b5

Mirage is a really good alternative, however it doesn't work on the new v80
