iirc there's a steam launch option "--nomod" other wise just open up the melon laoder installer, and click uninstall (your mods will remain if you reinstall melon loader)

I think a mod that would go really well with the More Company is one that allows the monitor and the terminal screen that u can pull up to view different players
because if u run the terminal command to pull up the spectating screen, if u change who ur watching, the big screen also changes. Having them seperate allows 2 different squads to go out, and there can be 2 people in the ship each watching a different squad

yes and no. you cant hear them, but if u go to the ship i can almost gaurantee that their voice will be inside the ship. When I stay at the ship to run the terminal I can hear some peoples voices in the ship no matter where they are or if their dead

In terms of 32 you will have some frame drop towards the start of each round and occasionally when people are dying to mines

Used this mod for the first time last night with friends I don't usually play with and it worked alright up until a point.
(More Company 1.4.1, Bepinex 5.4.2100)
When 2 people got disconnected (unrelated internet problems) it bugged out the host and put him into a pseudo dead state when he picked up a 'Heavy' Loot and made his camera third person and at a fixed location. From his pov he was 1ft tall, no torso, just arms and a head. It apparently still thought one of the dc'd players was still in the lobby (unbeknownst to us at the time) and our solution was to have him die. Which we then saw the ghost dead player in roster screen.
thought I had video of it, but shadowplay was not working at the time...
anyone else having loot table problems? For some reason we seem to be getting only half the loot spawned around the map and the other half spawning in the void around the map both inside and outside.

MoreCompany is designed for 8 players, but can host up to 32 players. BiggerLobby can host up to 40. As of writing this both mods are stable (but either may receive some more updates anyway), and essentially do the same thing, with minor differences. The stability may change when we get the new update from Zeekers, but both modders are still active, so I'm sure both mods will get updated as well.

So is it just me or does More Company significantly tank the framerate of the game? If I launch the game without this mod as host I consistently get 130-140fps on Experimentation outside and inside the ship, and if I launch it with then I get like 80-90fps outside and sometimes even 60 inside the ship, and it obviously gets worse on bigger maps

if you just play with 8 people itll be the same expeirence as if it were capped
Sure you can just start the game at the exact time you hit 8, but what usually happens in the large lobbies is that people that flooding in when they see there is more people in a lobby. A custom cap would be nice for public lobbies, if possible ofcourse. You'll also have to not use the late joiner mods or people will keep flooding in.

The cosmetic menu is in the main menu, its a green button on the bottom right of the screen. When you open it theres a checkbox on enabling or disabling the cosmetics

For testing, the host and clients only have MoreCompany enabled, but we're seeing this, and the host can't see other players' cosmetics. I think the non-host clients can see other people's cosmetics, though?

hey, as someone whos been using advanced company i got like 3 questions, can you config battery life of night vision, what can be configed, is it bugged majorly in any way
I'll try to answer to the best of my knowledge in order:
- It's is possible to change the battery life in the items config but also important to note that the perk upgrade for the ship [battery pack] also increases the duration of item batteries across the board as well. So try to keep that in mind for why the default time is so short.
- Lots of stuff can be configured and it'd take too long to cover everything so the best advice I can honestly give is go through the configs and read, there's a lot you can modify.
- Personally I've not run into any major bugs with this mod but keep in mind like any mod there can be incompatibilties with other mods that overlap if your not careful. With this it really is a matter of trial and error learning what does and does not work together but using common sense and reading through mod descriptions makes it fairly simple to navigate.

I did not fix that issue, sadly. The non-host clients cannot see their own cosmetics for some reason, but I've honestly put other updates as a higher priority, so I haven't spent a ton of time looking into that part yet. Sorry!

in my pack, MoreCompany is causing this. Manually went in and disabled each mod one by one, disabling MoreCompany fixed it

The player status is shown, just not in a top-to-bottom list like in BiggerLobby. In MoreCompany, extra names are to the left and right of the first 4 names.

If it does you could probably have the global directory be moved to the game folder probably or revert the location of it

I've noticed that once More Company updated to v50, anyone who joins after the default 4 gets their mic suppressed/lowered. I don't know if it was an intended change or not but I wanted to bring some attention to it. The mod works fine, it's just sometimes harder to hear other people in lobbies with more than 4 people. Tried raising them in lethal company itself but it doesn't fix it.
I think it's intended, Swipez implemented a change I believe due to Insym having a problem where the 5th person in his team couldn't be heard

Actually it could be a vanilla dissonance bug
I use Mirage which implements DissonanceLagFix
My work around for it currently when doing content is to just use the last version of More Company with the butler fix mod because while the desync issue is still there I can at least still hear everyone.

Did a test today with the DissonanceLagFix and unfortunately it didn't fix the issue I was having.
I tested the mod alone, no other mods installed and was still experiencing suppression.
Something with MoreCompany v1.9.0 / v1.9.1 lowers the volume of anyone who joins outside of the original player cap of the game.
You also cannot raise them in the lethal company menu.
I recorded my friend joining as the first 3 players and he sounds perfectly fine. I then had him join as the 5th player and you can see his volume was suppressed.
that makes no sense since it has the exact same volume code for everyone
and I did some testing the other day and all volumes worked fine

Well thats what i use instead of latecompany eversince latecompany gave us more desync issues
havent had trouble. You need to set the config to auto open the lobby if you dont wanna manually open it via commands

u can toggle cosmetics in that menu
it is nice to be able to toggle it without having to restart ur game (if u dont have LethalConfig which not everyone would have)

The player volume level of everyone in the lobby before i join is lowered and the volume of anyone who joins after is increased to the max. Happens only with more company. Is anyone else having this issue?

i found that morecompany in my modpack (60~ mods) causes fog to be see-through. it kinda ruins all of the snowy moons and foggy moons in general
morecompany doesnt touch fog

Add the ability to hide this icon if all cosmetics in it are hidden. It is not needed if cosmetics are disabled

I've done it via a comma separated list in the config so for example if i had https://i.1a3.uk/1725207749.png and wanted to disable bunnyears & 3dglasses I'd just do builtin.3dglasses,builtin.bunnyears
it's in the same pull request that adds this so it should hopefully be in the next update of MoreCompany if swipez doesn't have any issues with it (I don't see why he would have any issues)

In a game yesterday I noticed that a noticeable lagspike is generated when you put a player's body on the Company Moon selling shelf.
Disabling the cosmetics option in the configuration corrects this detail, but it is worth reporting in case there may be a solution

It uses vanilla audio logic for 4 players so that's why
It's not technically a bug, it's something that isn't worth the time spent to fix since we'd have to duplicate the audio mixer group 46 times then also rename the two parameters for each group as well then we'd have to separate it into different mixers for different player counts so there's less of a performance hit
It's just an absolute pain... it'd be so much easier if unity added support for dynamically creating audio mixer groups
