Electro piece is the top build atm. it is the normal "out of stealth" build
Heartstab is slightly behind EP, "in stealth" build
both need low ping to work

Bombard is the high ping spec, and very easy to play

EP and HS builds have similar setups with slight differences, bombard is just all bombard with a few poison specs

mist slash does increase your overall dps, but priority remains in keeping your venom uptime

you eventually get rid of mist slash in your kit for more EP books

soul takes priority as that one has the %dmg modifiers

you need both since mystichelps out with your kit

soul first, then mystic enhanced time bommb

I'd recommend you to do the new story questline

Once you're done with it, you'll have both badges

You can select which one works best. For EP, there's a single soul badge for it. As for mystic badge you realistically have 2 options

• time bomb reducing cooldown of your poison breath
• poison breath helping you recover 2 focus on ep/lp hit

Personally I'd suggest the first as it'll allow you to drop in more poison breath (which, at purple, gives you crit rate)

For the purples, you have the possibility of getting 10 selector with battlepass once you're done with it (the 10 coins at battlepass level 30 can be traded for those)

Mist slash is indeed better and venom is recommended as once you get legendaries, with 48GM on it, it'll have 9s CD which is enough to sustain venom

major issues with focus running HS without true timestream, need to run a focus recovery mantra, kick, time bomb badge and possibly leg PB to maintain dps. Attempted to run a bleed spec with lightning crash but the focus issue is too much. Need a dedicated bleed pt member if you want to run queens

in theory, you can stack more HS books if you run true timestream, but without it the maximum leg HS books you can run is 9, opposed to 10 for EP. You can technically make do without purple shuri and run 10 books to break even with EP book stacks but HS being reliant on venom stacks even on regular mobs is a factor- although this is a specific scenario such as queens and killing mobs and you might not have PB up. DPS suffers greatly without 5 poison stacks or if you can't get yourself in stealth.

Some other specific issues with HS include mobs or bosses that deal DoT which knocks you off stealth. Prime example is meganura, and another being the rocket launch phase in be ido at nexus lower.

probably the most important issue is ping. HS needs very low ping, as xeno had stated before

you'd lose a 12.6% damage increase potential on hs to gain a 3% crit rate chance and 21.8% damage increase on lightning crash

And since legendary crash has a higher ap ratio the damage difference would have to be recalculated

Otherwise the 2 main builds are :

• heart stab
• electropierce

Damage wise, can't say as there aren't many heart stabs in EU but the one I know is quite strong
Electropierce is kinda the go to for the majority of the players (and is therefore a bit more costly)

Badge wise, just take one that fits the build (at virtuous), and once you upgrade it to the next tier (sacred and above), they'll encompass all builds so you don't have to worry about that

Other builds include bombard but damage is non-existent and the others are worse
