I’d recommend that for anyone worried about their specs, just try it. You’re not in a lose-lose situation, and you’ll only know what to expect until you’ve tried to run the game. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, then at least you have an idea why it won’t work. Or if it does work and even after changing some settings it’s still runs not well, then same scenario applies.

Check GeForce Experience for any updates, if it's running in the background you should see an Nvidia logo on your start bar and if it has a white circle next to it, that means there are updates available

I would be hesitant to get a gaming pc. I say this only because it is not upgradeable to future proof.

The graphics card is just under the recommended, The laptop has a RTX 3050 but the recommended is RTX 3070. The processor is what is concerning to me that does meet the minimum...but that could create bottleneck for you when playing... RAM is at recommended but being that recommended is 16GBs and the laptop has 16GB you wouldn't really have any room for much else to run while the game is running.

It's got a good card imo, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, 16 GB of ram (planning to up it with another 16 GB stick), though it currently has a AMD Ryzen 5 5500 Processor

I'm thinking to get a new processor because mine's dated, so that I can run Inzoi proper (hopefully) amongst other games. What is recommended? I myself was thinking of the AMD Ryzen 7 7700x

Is it recommended and will it make much difference?

Ryzen 5 5500 is probably absolutely fine. If you wanted to upgrade to 7000 series you would also need to change motherboard and RAM which will make it ver expensive.
The 5700X3D would be the ideal upgrade choice if you really wanted to.

That has an iGPU with no VRAM. It's using part of your RAM as VRAM and that's probably why it was (wrongfully) displayed as having more VRAM than your Nvidia GPU.

The RTX 4060 is an entry level GPU. The 5700X3D performs very similar in gaming to a 7000 series CPU due to the 3D V-cache and would work great with GPUs up to the 4070 Ti so I personally wouldn't recommend to go for a 7000 series chip unless you're uprading to a 4080 anytime soon. You would also need 150USD + 110USD for new RAM (because you can't use your DDR4 ram on AM5) while the 5700X3D is roughly 200 USD and you can buy another 16GB of DDR4 RAM for way cheaper (just make sure you have enough free slots and buy the same exact ram kit.)

And yes, 32GB is more than enough for the next couple of years.

Depends on price but I highly suspect it's overpriced looking at that cooling and motherboard. And most importantly I wouldn't currently recommend buying high end Intel 13/14th Gen chips due to instability issues caused by voltage (spikes) and degradation.

Honestly the last 2 generations of Intel CPUs pretty much all suffer from the same hardware design fault and could potentially become unstable and degrade after some time. I would either buy an AMD 7000 series CPU or wait for the next Intel generation which is supposedly launching in mid October.

Also, the game is not that super demanding. The 4070 Ti in your previous post is quite overkill for example. A recent Ryzen 5 and RTX 4060 would be fine for the game and a 4070 would be ideal. Anything higher is probably unnecessarily spending money unless you want to play other very demanding games

Well the best possible GPU would be the RTX 4090 but thats completely overkill. Which i5 do you have exactly? An RTX 4070 (super) is above recommended specs and would be more than enough for the game. Alternatively an RTX 3070 if there are still availble ones or RX 7700 XT / 7800 XT. You also have to check your power supply because it might not have enough watts

I'd play with the pcbenchmark. Your cpu may limit your performance as well (mine does). Even if I get a better GPU, I still can't play on high unless I upgrade my cpu. But hey if I got a better GPU I can throw it into a future computer. Lol

You can change your GPU but there are 2 things you should check first.

1. What CPU you currently have. Your graphics card will not be fully utilized if your CPU is holding it back.
2. What power supply (PSU) you have. You cannot upgrade to any GPU potentially. You need to check how many watts your PSU can supply and how many PCIE connectors you have.

Ok so your CPU is still quite good. The PSU has 600w which is also decent. The PCIE connectors are the specific cables that are meant to be plugged into the GPU. Do you happen to know the specific PSU model? Then I could check how many connectors it has.

You could definitely find out by opening your PC and then you could probably also just check how many PCIE connectors you have.
This is important because of the following:
The RX 6800 is the most powerful choice but it uses 2x8pin and has a 650W minimum recommendation officially. You could very likely still use it if your PSU is good and has these 2x8 pin connectors. The same applies for the 3070 (Ti).
The RTX 4060 would be a decent choice as well and would 100% work because it's very power efficient but the 6800 is 40% faster and thus better value for your money theoretically.

And currently the AI features are only supported on Nvidia GPUs so that's another thing to consider, it could take a while until these are implemented for (older) AMD GPUs.

Open task manager and then click on performance. Then look for GPU, there might be 2 GPUs where one is the integrated GPU like Intel UHD and the other one is the more important dedicated GPU like Nvidia.

Eh, it's below minimum requirements but the game will run, at least the demo runs for me on my laptop with similar specs and it's relatively playable but you need to turn down the settings. I also recommend to disable Raytraycing in settings. The demo is only playable until tomorrow so just try it out
