Question: When will the game be released?

Question: What platforms will the game be on and where can I download/play?

InZOI is available on PC (Steam) and is later expected to be released on PS5 in 2026. Any other website/entity promising access to the game outside of these mediums should not be trusted.

Question: What’s the name of the currency and language in InZOI?

The confirmed currency in the game is called 'Meow'. This currency will be used to purchase items from the build mode and much more!

Question: What is Canvas?

When you create Zois and build houses in inZOI, you can upload them to Canvas to share your creation with other players. You can also download uploaded characters and houses to use in your gameplay.

Currently, the game supports 13 languages for Early Access.

We are currently considering various multiplayer features, such as the ability to meet up with other online players or invite them over to your home. But specific details have not been decided.

Question: What cities are planned for the game?

🔹Dowon, a city based on urban South Korea
🔹Bliss Bay, a city based on the beachside, United States
🔹Cahaya, inspired by Indonesian vacation resorts are all planned!

Question: Can I play the game on other platforms? Mobile, tablet, Chromebook, Switch, etc?

❌No ,platforms outside of Steam at the time of Early Access are not currently planned for.

🔹Not at EA launch but will be added sometime after release.

❌ No, the game currently does not support Steam Deck.

Gameplay Features & Mechanics

Question: What transportation is in the game?

🔹Cars will be available with an auto drive and manual driving option. There is also public transit in the form of a bus system in Bliss Bay and the metro system in Dowon.

Question: What is the name of the cats seen in the game?

🔹Psycat is the cat you most likely have seen. She is your supervisor at AR Company. Another important cat is named Cupid. He also works at AR Company and has a (not so secret) crush on Psycat!

Question: How will I control my Zois?

🔹Controlling your Zoi can be done primarily through WASD, with the option to point and click “go here” to move your Zoi as well.

Question: Can we adjust Zoi heights?

❌ No, Zois' heights cannot be adjusted.
🔹 Why? The game uses pre-programmed animations, and adjusting heights would disrupt interactions (e.g., handshakes or hugging).

Question: Will Zois be able to multitask?

🔹 Planned for the future, but not available at Early Access (EA) launch.
🔹 Many of the game’s single-action animations have been improved, but full multitasking is still in development.

Question: How many Zois can be in a family?

🔹 Maximum of 8 Zois per family.
🔹 If the household is full, pregnancy attempts will fail unless a family member dies.

Question: Will Zois have a memory?

🔹 Not yet implemented, but a similar recording system for major life events (e.g., marriages, divorces) exists.
🔹 The long-term goal is to create a memory-like system that allows Zois to recall past interactions.

Question: Will there be an active school system?

❌ Not at EA launch due to complexity.
🔹 The inZOI team wants a fully immersive school experience (e.g., cafeteria interactions, friendships, and conflicts).
🔹 It will be added later, but no timeline yet.

Question: Will pets be included in Early Access?

❌ No pets at EA launch.
🔹 Pets are a high priority for future updates but require extensive development for proper interactions.

Question: Will InZOI have fast-forward and what happens when your Zoi dies?

✅Yes, inZOI will have fast forward. You will be given option to "go back in time" when your Zoi dies

Question: Will InZOI have same sex romance/marriage?

✅Yes. InZOI will support same sex marriage and romance.

Question: What are the capabilities of the AI features?

The built in AI will be run locally on your devices’ system. The list of functions include, but is not limited to:

• Providing chat responsive functionalities to be able to ask "Psycat" and other Zoi's questions relating to the game.
• Generate texture images for clothing and building structure

Customization & Modding

Question: Can we use mods?

✅ Yes! inZOI has built modding using Unreal Blueprints (changed from the previous Lua iteration).
🔹 The inZOI team will provide modding guides and tools for easier implementation.

Question: Will we get more diverse hairstyles?

✅ Yes! Many new curly, coiled, and Black hairstyles have been added after your feedback.
🔹 These styles take up to 3x longer to develop than straight hair due to complex textures and will require a higher data load in actual use.

Question: Are tattoos included in the game?

✅ Yes, but limited at EA launch.
🔹 Facial and neck tattoos available initially.
🔹 Full-body tattoos expected around August 2025.
🔹 AI-generated tattoos will later allow custom designs.

World & Building Mechanics

Question: Can we build an entire city from scratch?

❌ No, due to the massive computational load.
✅ However, the city is highly customizable, allowing you to modify many of its roads and public areas to make it feel unique.

Question: Will Smart Zois technology apply to animals?

🔹 The team wants to extend the Smart Zois system to animals and other living things, but it's not a priority until the human Zoi version has fully matured.

Question: How realistic are driving mechanics?

❌ Not as advanced as other driving-centric games.
🔹 Driving isn't a primary gameplay focus, and car customization will be prioritized over driving physics. However, there may be improvements in the future where the driving feels “better” in certain circumstances.

Question: Will swimming pools & swimming be in the game?

❌ Not at EA launch.
🔹 The team worked on swimming but wasn’t satisfied with the quality, so it will be added later after improvements.

Question: Will hospitals be in the game?

❌ Not at EA launch.
🔹 Creating an immersive hospital experience (with diagnostics, treatments, and doctor-patient interactions) is a big project that will come later.

Miscellaneous & Fun Questions

Question: Will Zois be able to… have interactions that allow them to create a baby? (intentionally extended interpretation for our intended audience)

✔️ Sort of!
🔹 The "interaction" is implied but not explicitly shown (due to age ratings).
🔹 You will need to use your imagination.

Question: Can Zois commit murder?

❌ No.
✅ A completely off-topic but perhaps useful information is that you can start a house fire, and if a certain Zoi just happens to be in that house, they will unfortunately die.
🔹 Members of KRAFTON and inZOI Studio do not condone this behavior in real life.

Question: Why do Zois wear towels in the shower?

🔹 Due to the game’s ultra-realistic graphics, using pixelated censorship looked overly suggestive. (We actually tested this ourselves during development, so you can trust us on this 😓)
🔹 The team is open to Creators' suggestions for better solutions.

Question: Objects like laptops or sinks cannot be placed on tables or counters.

This issue occurred today, but it was resolved after restarting the game. Please try closing and reopening the game.

Question: How can I check my computer specifications?

Open Steam, click the "Help" tab in the top menu, and select "System Information." This will display details about your GPU, CPU, VRAM, and resolution specifications.

Question: I cannot enter Build Studio. The game keeps crashing or gets stuck in an infinite loading screen.

Please proceed as below:
Check Windows Defender settings
• Go to Windows Defender Security Center → Go to Virus & threat protection → Go to Virus & threat protection settings → Select [Ransomware protection] → Disable [Controlled folder access].
If it still doesn’t work after above setting change, please go to "Option" in the game, scroll down to "Game Information," and copy your UID. Then, submit an inquiry to our customer support center (https://support.playinzoi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?null)

Question: Facial Capture isn't working - What should I check?

If you are having trouble with Facial Capture,

• Make sure you are using an iOS device, as facial capture is only supported on iOS.

• Facial Capture is supported on iOS 16.0 or later.

• Ensure both your iOS device and PC are connected to the same network.

• Check your Windows Defender Firewall settings:

• Go to Firewall and change network from Public to Private.

Question: Seeing a "Missing File Privileges" error when installing via Steam?

This is often caused by Steam's download cache.
Here's how to clear it:

• In the Steam Client, click [Steam] → [Settings] in the top-left menu.
• Select the [Downloads] tab and Click the [Clear Download Cache] button at the bottom.
• Select [Confirm] to proceed. (Note: You'll need to log back into Steam afterwards!)
  If the error still occurs, it may be related to your system specifications or available memory.

Question: The game resolution looks off. How can I fix it?

If unexpectedly low resolution or stretched screens when launching the game happens, try adjusting the resolution manually using the steps below:

• Open the config file located at:

• C:\Users{YourUsername}\AppData\Local\BlueClient\Saved\Config\Windows

• Modify the values in the file

Question:Getting “Invalid request. [Error Code: RED]” when uploading on Canvas?

Error Code : RED may occur when the content you're trying to upload exceeds the allowed file size limit for Canvas.
This usually means the creation is too large to be uploaded. Please try reducing the number of included elements such as items, assets, or images to lower the file size.
