Anyone knows if Cahaya will ever be updated to have a school lot? Having my teen disappear off of the home lot and not being able to hang with classmates at the sports field after a school day is a bit of a let down. I know Cahaya was meant as a vacation destination... But people do live in places like that too.

Just out of curiousity, has anyone had zois who have had both sons and daughters (naturally in game)? In my experience my zois have multiple kids of the same gender so far, so I am just curious if anyone has experienced differently.

they can have both genders, though we dont know how the percentage for the randomizer is like so some people may get all girls, all boys or some will get boys and girls

Yes most likely you forgot to set your own zoi's preferences at creation. Its okay you can still change it using a mirror.

Ive noticed that setting your Zois preferences can have a huge impact on gameplay and the uhh 'society' that is generated. So its still best to do at creation / start of game.

But I have forgotten a 'few' 🙂 times and did not have issues with changing it.

Now travelling to other cities can be a issue.

24hrs means 24 in real life hour. i liked the 96min one but alot of people like 40 something one which is one of the reason they changed it to be the default time

your best bet would be to test the different times to work out whats the best length of day for you

Did you reenable mods? They got disabled after the hotfix. Make sure to go to "Installed Mods" and make sure it's enabled.

My Zois have jobs. It's not thought bubbles, it's permanent description above their heads. Even in Neon Tides nightclub it says Member, Member, Security Guard, Club Staff above their heads. At least when I use camera mode, the words go. Seems to be over NPC only.

I could be wrong, but i thought there was an interaction or way where you can officially move to a new city indefinitely but I cannot remember if this is true and if it is, how to do it. I just travelled with my zois from Cahaya to Bliss Bay, and one of my zois wants to live there because of a job opportunity. Is there a way to set it so we are leaving the old city behind or are we essentially just in limbo?

You can live there. Just don't go back to the old city. If you get a new job date get married etc in the new city eventually I think the relationships from your previous city will go away. The way they have it now you can pretty much live in any city for as long as you want or travel to another when you want. In one of my saves, my zoi owns a home in all 3 cities but considers bliss bay her main home

Yes, on public lots click edit lot and click the blue circle with a pencil in it at the top of the screen. You can add up to 8 NPCs per lot. You can also of course make a family of people, move them into a lot, and turn aging off.

When someone else is in the way, it loops because they're waiting in line. Like at a restaurant when someone else is ordering at the menu. But if it happens without that, it's a glitch, you gotta cancel the interaction.

Absolutely. They show up while the family is at home, and they almost never leave of their own volition.
They used to work okay before 0.20, and I remember running into this issue from 0.20-onwards. It's gotten worse now.

The collection is owned by the household so no you wouldn't lose it. The stuff in their inventory gets sold I believe, at least their vehicle does

If you have a save with the family you can just use the customzoi cheat to get into Caz and save their presets then take note of all their traits, skills etc to use when recreating them in a new save. Unfortunately there isn't an easier way yet

hey guys! I realized curseforge hosts inzoi mods so I looked around but didn't download anything. I opened inzoi hours later and it said something about uninstalling all mods bc I opened curseforge, so I did. Issue is, now I can't find krafton/use it anywhere, but curse forge can't locate my inzoi game either.

If you haven’t already try doing this
Try to manually find and delete any leftover InZOI mod files from their folders (especially in %localappdata%/inZOI/User_data/88849 and inZOI/Mods/88849), then restart your PC, check OneDrive settings, and if issues persist, reinstall the game as a last resort as InZOI mods are managed in-game via the CurseForge interface, I believe you could also head on over to the forum to report or see if your issue has been addressed

I had that want in the past. I can't remember how I completed it but I think it was tied to a specific mood. Try getting your zoi elated (happy or whatever) if it's not that one it's one of the other moods. Just save first then try eating each max mood donut and reverting to previous save if it's not the right mood until you find the right one

This may seem like an obvious question but you’re trying to place it in a wall, right?

If so, you may be trying to use the wrong size of door. Only ‘small’ doors will fit in the lowest wall height, while medium and large doors can be placed in taller walls.

What do you mean reset... Like bring them back as they where at the begining of the game ?
If so the only way we can do that is with "CustomZoi".
Basically make a new game in Bliss Bay and immediately pause the game.
Activate cheats and type "Showzoiinfo true", you'll see zoi's number over each of their head.
Go to each family and "CustomZoi 000000" where the 0's are the zoi ID, and export each one as a preset.
Later or whenever you want, you can make a custom family in "manage families" and add them back as they where.

The only issue is that you cannot export newborns or toddlers, so you wont be able to save those (I think this affects only the Collins triplets, but I could be forgetting some).
However you could save them as Childs (by letting the simulation run and checking every night after midnight to catch them as soon as they reach the age), and import them as child then.

Good luck, and I cannot wait to be able to save an entire family regardless of their member's ages.

Hi, I have a gameplay issue since Cahaya updates. Does anyone has this issue when travelling Zois travel to another city they always landed up in the default map of cities they travelled to. For example, travelling from Dowon to Bliss Bay always landed up in Bliss Bay map with default families. But the map loaded with game updates of added lots. Travelling to another city always load default families of that target city and not the saved world progress in my game of that target city. I tested in both old saves and new saves.

You had the lucky bug. Basically, the 8 slot never registered full and now you can have as many babies as you want with that family. I wish we could exceed the 8 limit already... definitely not enough.

look on the second floor, there might be a wall there that goes over the stairs.
The only fix is to delete bugged stairs, push the wall backwards (temporarily, or delete wall), replace stairs, redo or move back forward the wall.

I had to re-export a house of mine on canvas recently, losing all likes and download markers because of that specific bug myself, it was introduced in 0.4.0 or thereabouts. We really need a way to update our creations on Canvas without having to re-upload, it's a HUGE issue IMHO.

There are some issues with needs duration and game 'time' setting.
Specifically if you change to a 48 hour day there is currently issues with sleep eat etc. decaying too quickly.

They changed how long the needs decay according to the game day lentgh you choose and gond some things 'wrong'. Should be fixed soon.

Hello! I looked online about this and what I found has been pretty discouraging, but I wanted to check one more time before giving up.

I checked my computer specs against InZoi's requirements, and they all check out except my graphics card. My graphics card is an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770, which wasn't mentioned in the specs. Would InZoi work at all with this graphics card? I could just buy it and hope for the best, but realistically I don't want to be out the money if it won't work

I'm just getting back into the game and had an idea for a comparison. There is an audiobook called "Backstory" with some interesting characters - all aspiring writers. They all have vastly different personalities, and I'd like to create them in both InZoi and Sims 3 and see how they interact in each game.
I want to create Veronica, who is an activist - heavily into the environment and human rights. However, she's very heavy-handed and critical of others, whether it's for eating meat, or having too much wealth for her taste, of doing anything she thinks is detrimental to the environment. She's a killjoy, argumentative, and has a history of bullying her classmates when she was younger.
Any suggestions on how I can make her close to the description above in InZoi? I tried making her an innovator with a life of contribution, but she comes off as a nice person, and Veronica is not nice. Thanks in advance for your input.

You can choose not to share it to canvas yes, as most zois can be saved in presets, however saving it to canvas sometimes helps when there’s a big update that requires a new saves, so you can use that same zoi again

Not necessarily, however it will be them basically at the age they were when you first made them. Saving them to canvas will share them however I believe the devs said they’re working on making it so it doesn’t have to be public on canvas.

Plus you can always delete the post once you re add them

You don't have to save it to canvas! Just save them as the new age, and then you can load it in customzoi. Click the big white circle with an arrow in it in the Zoi Presets screen. No canvas necessary!

I had that issue in the first release of the August update, but it hasn’t happened since then. Sometimes they do take a long time to arrive. I think the most likely reason is that the other character gets ‘stuck’ somehow.

why does the crafting table charge me 300 for making a gold pickaxe, when I have all the materials already? it should cost me nothing to make it

Crafting in general is horrendously unbalanced and needs a major rework. It’s maddeningly difficult to get hold of raw gemstones for jewellery crafting, for example.

finding stuff seems to depend on the quality of the pickaxe more than anything else. on one character I have a diamond pickaxe... it finds a lot of stuff! but then I haven't quite figured out what to do with cut gems. they seem to have zero value somehow?

The zero-value thing is a UI bug - you can sell them from your inventory or at a shop or stall, and you’ll receive money for them. You’re right about the pickaxe quality seemingly being the most important factor in finding gemstones, but even a jewelled pickaxe with high skill and concentration doesn’t guarantee finding good stuff. Like I said, the whole thing needs a big rework. I might propose some specific improvements in the feedback section when I have time.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for help with Ghost Play. I have completed all of the ghost stories (i think) except one. The Injured Pianist in Lumiere Lobby won't appear anywhere. I think this is a mistake as Lumiere is the Art Gallery and does not have a piano. I have also tried the Elegance Hotel Lobby (has a piano) but the ghost does not appear. Has anyone been able to complete this yet?

If you can successfully create a curseforge account from curseforge website then it's supported in your location.

For in game mods you only need to enable mods in options -> Mods to be able to download them

If you're talking about the "propertry markers" there's a setting for this in the "settings>gameplay"

And while in the game you can just hold or press "alt" button to show or hide those markers ig (idk if it's changed or not)

And sometimes they are kinda stuck on the screen, so disabling and re-enabling the setting might help
