I still can't get the no default garment mod to work again. A few other clothing mods won't unsubscribe either. But I got some new clothes, so my Zois might be happy again lol, even though for now they'll have to wear grey default garment under some of their old clothes.
I don't really know where to find the file on my computer to delete previous no default garment, in case that's the problem, as even half an hour of Installing the mod, it hasn't finished, so it looks like it's not going to 😢

Sorry I'm not good doing this sort of thing, but I went to the link, and found the grey mod. Do I extract or bin? Then if I install the mod on the game it might install properly again? In my file folder the female no grey has the code B96B6EOF.

Fifteen minutes of installing the no grey skin overlay, the yellow bar is stuck at 40% along, again. So by me deleting it in files, hasn't worked.

I found the file that has 88849, then started the game back up, clicked subscribe, on that mod, then it began installing. But over ten minutes later it's still installing. I don't mind waiting if it takes ages, but other mods take a couple of seconds. There are a few other mods that do this since update too.

I'm playing on a macbook pro with m3 pro (11/14), 36 GB unified memory and still can't get this things to run smoothly with at least 45 FPS even with medium settings (only getting 38-40 FPS usually), 1440p. iirc my specs are higher than the recommended specs on steam. I hope the developers will, in the near future, optimise the game to run better on Apple silicon. I see a lot of potential for this game and I'm enjoying it so far, even with subpar performance! After extract the no grey folder into 88849, you don't have to subscribe or update again, it will have another name in the Installed Mods list and works without having to subs or update, it's a local complete mod files

In my Installed Mods list, I don't see it, so when I search in Mods, I see it installing. But never completes. If I restart game it asks me if I want to install, so I press continue. But never completes.

Maybe if I try a new game save. But same mods would be on old saves too.

Have done that, but I don't see that in my Installed Mods.

How long has it been? The bump isn't as obvious as I originally expected (from playing a similar game years ago). I see the bump around day two. Especially when she does yoga.

I don't know what you mean about clothes. If you expected maternity clothes, they don't have them. You would need to plan her outfits before trying to conceive if you want realistic maternity wear. My first zoi who got pregnant was wearing a lace dress for her everyday outfit, and it didn't look right when she was pregnant. 🤣 I like to have some outfits saved for her to plan real quick before suggesting to try for a baby. It's nicer than the other game I played that just assigned clothes to your character whether that's what she would wear or not.

There are no hospitals in the game yet, but when it's time to give birth, there's a brief moment where she has contractions, and then a cutscene in the hospital when she sees the newborn for the first time (though only baby's hair can be seen). It's a nice screenshot moment if you want a picture of the mom in her hospital bed with her newborn.

After that, a screen pops up to congratulate the birth and allow you to name the baby. The surname is available too, which is nice if the zoi should have a different last name than one or even both of the parents. (I play an Eastern European family that has gendered surnames, so I can give the right surname to the baby depending on their gender.) It's also nice if your zoi got married and you'd like the baby to have the other parent's surname.

Hello everyone, just wanted to ask if the ultra sensitive autonomy has been brought to the devs attention? I haven't been in the server lately to read since being super busy in my life lately. I usually turn my autonomy off because the actions performed by the zois are so counter intuitive to their needs. Also, the autonomy button keeps coming back on, even though I turn it off. Makes for a very frustrating gaming session.

How do I complete the notorious villain ambition/aspiration? I cannot pass level 1. In the second part my zoi has to push somebody to the ground three times but I never get the option. My zoi trait is outlaw. In order to fight somebody I need to get her very Angry or annoyed. But is almost impossible because with the outlaw trait and the malicious characteristic every time she does something bad. She finds it very amusing and that goes over her annoyed or angry mood every time. After a lot of trying I was able to complete the start a fight 5 times but I never get the option to push somebody to the ground. I need help. I was able to complete that ambition/aspiration before the October update very easily.

You can rearrange their order at the “move zoi between families”. I do this most of the time. Just use another family to temporarily move your active family there and manually put them back to your original family in the order that you prefer. Then click save.

Try playing around with different presets, I noticed some presets kinda influence the look of the eyes more than others. Unless I'm just going insane and that's not true
You'll want to focus on the areas around the eyes as well and in what direction you move them. The cheekbones for example have an effect on the look of the lower part of the eye if you pull them forwards a bit

Been broken since I started playing in April.
Top quality painting should sell for 1000 mew before markup, and even then it might still be too much.
Like how many paintings can one paint in 8 hours period in the 48min/day length, while being at 10 skill? About 15 I think.
I know from average the chance of a perfect painting is about 10-20%, let's say 15%.
So that's 2 perfect paintings in 8 hours using 48min day length. (never mind the fact that some jobs are 10 hrs long, and you can paint off of work... but I am comparing a work day).

That would mean in a balance patch for Paintings, WITH Pocket Market Markup, you should sell them for 1000 at most. Equaling the best jobs paying 2k/day (which ironically are from 09am to 03pm, so about 6 hours).

Once you have opened the character creator or the edit option for your Zoi, go to the accessories menu. There, you will find a “Face Paint” option. Click it and select the tattoo you like from the different options.

There can be any number of issues of why a zoi might not want to talk to you.
Heck there was a bug for a while .. certain modded clothing and no one would talk to you.
Also they may be waiting on another cued action to complete.
Ive seen Zois stand there and stare at one another for like 2 minutes while waiting on a 3rd zoi to join the conversation (un invited btw).

if it wont let you place them in front of the door, it's because you need a bit of clearance/platform for the stairs to work.
You might need to laydown same height floor in front of doors until stairs want to connect there. No other way of making it happen and yes, it's a pain.

Values do take effect all the time. Wording of that info is a bit confusing.
When through certain actions, if a value score goes above 60 points, then that value becomes the forerunner, a priority for the zoi. Hence more often than not, options related to that value are seen in the
conversations and actions. In case more than one value exceeds 60 points, then of these, whichever has more points than the other takes precedence, ie has more weightage for the conversations and actions.

Incidentally, you do not have to fulfill all urges or meet/execute suggested conversations. You can choose certain other conversations and actions and thereby influence value points all the time in the game. This way, even if you may start with a value that you do not appreciate in your zoi, slowly you can change their personality by influencing and changing the values. -- that was the core of the game when it was released in early access. I think it still is valid.

The 'busk' interaction is only available on some community lots, such as parks and beaches. You may have to place your own microphones and guitar stands as well, since the existing ones can only be used by NPCs for some reason. However, if you put down a guitar case near where your Zoi is busking, you can earn tips from passing Zois.

You have to actually 'man' the sales cart.

If I remember correctly click on the cart and start sales.

And you got to stay there and 'lure' customers in.
Frankly its a pita and I gve up on it. All that placing stuff one at a time is frustrating.

But now you can sell directly from your bag so actually sales carts are now just a role play tool.

It helps if you're on a lot with plenty of people, but you can also click on the sales mat / stand to directly call over passing Zois. You'll have a short conversation with them which builds your Rhetoric skill, and then they'll decide whether or not to buy from the stand. I think having high Rhetoric makes them more likely to buy but I'm not sure of this.

You are correct. Having a high rhetoric will make the conversatiosn more successful which in turn leads to more and better sales.

Another thing to note is that if you sell direct from your inventory you'll just get the base price, whereas using a sales stand allows you to set the price yourself and potentially earn a lot more. So there is at least some reason to do it.

Certainly for selling produce it doesn't really work because the prices for raw fruits and vegetables are so low. We really need a dedicated 'fruit stand' that allows us to sell in bulk.

I had a Cahaya save which got ‘stuck’ in a heatwave for days on end. My Zois were OK but their acquaintances were dropping like flies. I eventually fixed it by using a cheat code to start a rainstorm, which fixed the heatwave, but ruined my banana and mango trees.

Someone pointed out to me that the jewel watering can was the issue cause it can only water crops so I had to use a normal watering can for the tree saplings. So that wasn't the issue here after all 😊

I was reading the thing where it said some people were getting the wrong version of the game and I was trying to solve the crashes (which are less since I lowered my graphics, but the game will still crash when it exit out of canvas or the mod page)

On start up as well, sometimes it crashes 2-3 times then runs like normal

Right click on Inzoi in your steam library, go to Properties, then to Installed Files. On that page, the bottom option should be "Verify Integrity of Game Files."

Click on that and it'll check every file and reinstall any missing or corrupted files

If there is still an issue afterwards, then I'm 99% sure a mod is causing the problem, which unfortunately can only be checked manually

One of my girls was born with the characteristic "malicious" and I really don't like that - it really doesnt fit who I play her to be. I havent found a way, nor do I see that the trait goes away even if I do numerous nice things. Does anyone know about that?

Edit: I found out how to use the cheat for that. However, it worked on one of them but it doesn’t work on another Zoi. Her Zoi ID apparently has 4 digits, and I did literally the same as with the other Zoi and it didn’t work. Any idea how to manage that?

It once happened to me that I just didnt realise that one of my zois' sexual orientation made dating impossible. I apparently forgot to check that before creating her. Maybe check that! You can modify that in CAZ

You were probably using the wrong trait or characteristic ID. You have to use the ones from the second column in the cheat list, and they're not always the same as the trait/characteristic name (e.g. the ID for the Lively characteristic is 'Energetic').

Downloading mods can break your game every hot fix depending on if they are broken themselves and it can cause your game to crash depending on if they’re updated so you just have to be careful which ones you choose.

Thankfully, control over the age groups is supposed to be coming in the December update.
In the meantime there's the "Realistic Aging" mod, that makes toddler stage only 2 days long, but it's not really compatible with an already running game (though you can switch it on or off at your leisure). It's best used for a new game.

Guy does it happen to you that your Zois randomly lose their jobs?

All of my controlled Zois out of nowhere have no scheduled jobs! Some were even CEOs already =/ this puts me off from continue playing as I have to constantly apply and cheat my way back to the previous position...

They never missed a day of work ever... but from Sunday to Monday they ALL have no jobs... (only the kid still has school)

Firefighters are useless in this game. My apartment almost burned down to ashes while the firefighter was just standing outside the door. I guess we need to keep our doors unlocked so they can get in? But hey should be exempted in the first place.

I think we need more door locking options. I keep my doors and fences locked at all time that I also forget why some npcs aren't entering my lot. There should be a 'service npc allowed' lock for firefighters, babysitters, gardeners, etc

I went to edit the city just to see what there was and I think because my zoi was sat on a bench, when I was placing stuff done it moves the zois out of the way and it moved them into the building

I believe you still get it automatically, but only if you have literally 0 funds at the start of the game. If you start with even a tiny amount of money, you won’t get it - at least that’s how it worked for me. You can also refuse the farming and mining welfare packages.

Yea like Debbie mentioned you only get it if you are dead broke. And only once! Also you can use the addmoney cheat with negative number to remove funds (ex: addmoney -1000)

Hey everyone. I have an issue that I have mentioned before a while ago, but I recently came back to my save and thought I would see if there's any new information out there from someone who may be able to help me resolve this. A toddler in my household is stuck being embarrassed and also making the other members feel flustered or embarrassed due to her "not having pants on". I dont use any mods so I know that's not the issue. any other suggestions for how I might be able to fix this as she still has 5 days before she ages up and its quite annoying lol (albeit funny).

I take it thats an old playthrough. there was a bug where married couples would kind of loose track of all relationship aspects with their spouse.
Only way to 'fix' it is to start a new family Im afraid.

You 'might' be able to build their relationship back up over time with some effort.

I do know that currently there are some 'issues' with 48 min. Nothing serious but issues with need decay, sleep, and hunger. But that is supposed to be balanced soon.

Or at least put it back to where it was and re-set the 96min as default until they iron out all the needs for all the day length categories. I agree it was always too fast, but some players love it and I know some that would want a 24min day as well. I really hope we can all have our cake and eat it, even tho I am beyond frustrated about how messed-up the 96min and 4hrs are since 0.4.0 - granted the 4hrs was always borked, but the 96min worked like a charm and we lost that now.
