Oooh, I see your problem then. My laptop runs fine with my 3050 4gb gpu, but i have an overpowered cpu. I suggest upgrading your cpu to 32 gb ram! Its usually as simple as inserting a chip

Oooooh, that's your problem! Basically when you lack vram, your computer allocated the extra memory to your cpu. But since inzoi already uses your ram, it doesnt have enough ram to allocate and just ends up crashing

Which could be the issue as not every driver is stable. One thing you could try is going back to version 566.36 as that one is known to be 100% stable as far as I'm aware :)

So buying a laptop now with 8GB of vram can very well mean that most games that release a few years from now will have a lot of issues properly running

Inzoi runs on my laptop well on medium settings and will do Smartzoi but not the create a texture...so I use my desktop if doing a long play. However, it's functional on my laptop...just not as pretty. I keep a fairly good laptop as I do video lectures for my rl work and need things to be good quality even if I wasn't into gaming.

Correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC the downside is that HDDs show signs of failure. An SSD will just get Thanos snapped out of nowhere.

HDDs also degrade over time even if they're not in use so if you have one sitting in a closet or attic you better go back it up

Photoshop is really for manipulating images, large edits, drawing / art. And lightroom is really just fully focused on like photography stuff kinda with color grading and different edits

Lightroom is fully focused on photography so you can batch edit things and you don't have all the photoshop features you don't need cluttering your workspace.
They're both great, but Lightroom is just really good for color grading and just baseline editing. Photoshop is good if you really want to finetune all the details and pixels and everything

But I use Affinity now instead of Photoshop

Just haven't found anything that rivals Lightroom and it's features so I do still use that
