Depends on the game. Usually I play indie games or something old, it's fine. However, Monster Hunter World drains my battery. I'd still play it over my PC sometimes because it's so easy to access. (But it's much better looking on my PC).

Sims 4 plays really well on my steam deck (well last time I checked which might be a year ago). But it needs to be online so I don't play it as much as Sims 3 which crashes a bit.

The best feature of the steam deck is how I can just suspend the game. That helped me finish Persona 5 Royal. Sometimes finding a save point in games takes too long. Lol
