In The Sims 4, if I'm not mistaken, you can also take an object from someone's house with the mischief trait, or something like that. In inZOI, it could be something similar, or, as seen in the recent video, just approaching someone on the street and 'politely' asking for their money.

Cyberpunk 2077 was hated initially because of how many bugs were in the game, to the point that it made it unplayable. However the difference between Cyberpunk and Starfiled is that the Cyberpunk team actually listen to their players and didn't blame them for not being able to fully enjoy the game. Instead they listened to the player base, aka people that make them the money, made changes and improved the game drastically from what it was.

And seeing how there's a ton of it and the fact they continue to add to it If you thought it was overpriced for how much it provides that's a you issue. And how did it flop when it sold 12m plus in the first week of its launch. That's complete nonsense. Just like you claiming that it's hated by millions yet you have millions still playing and enjoying it. Referring to your statement to Vinz. If they aren't listening to player feedback why have they literally stated they're listening to players and adding requested features the community's been asking for? They have plans for 10 plus years of DLC which will add more features and updates to it making what's probably the biggest SP game ever made even bigger. If you wanted to get your 100 dollars back assuming you bought the game (and not talking nonsense like you've consistently displayed) you would have done so when you had the chance and not waited. Not doing so is on you and no one else. Just like your display on lack of knowledge and fabrication on things you know nothing about. When the game was first announced, there was a promise of 1000 planets available for exploration, which initially sounded amazing. However, upon playing the game, it became apparent that many of the planets were repetitive, lacking unique features or engaging content. The game also suffered from missing key features such as a map and included multiple loading screens despite earlier claims. As a result, I find the game to be boring and slow, and it has definitely been a letdown for me. Has nothing to do with opinions. Everything I replied to is based of factual data. The promise of 1000 planets available for exploration were kept. There are literally a 1000 planets to explore. Seeing as the planets are literally based on being randomly generated anything being repetitive, lacking unique features, or engaging would be due to your game. Since that random generation means everyone's playthrough is unique. But since you didn't even like the game because you wanted your money back I doubt you explored near enough of the game to come to that conclusion. You're just repeating things on hearsay from people who never played it. As for key features such as a map that's been remedied since as of several months ago they were implemented. There were never any promises to not have loading screens. Anyone who thought a game this massive wouldn't have that are naive. You find it boring, slow and a letdown. Don't know what to tell you there. You can question the player count all you want. That doesn't mean there isn't a significant amount of players. And there are metrics to prove it. Anyone that wanted a refund probably would've received one. If they didn't that means they didn't actually buy it and are saying they did to make it seem as if they have legitimate complaints and issues when they don't. Or they didn't want one because they enjoy it. Actually yes they have addressed player complaints. The fact that they are/have done things to remedy that is proven by updates and added feature requests. But what you're saying sounds like a person who actually played the game. With legit opinions. Having very little experience with the actual game (if any) by playing and not keeping theirself up to date on things going on with it. I.E updates to the overall game. Anyways not every game is perfect and not everyone's going to like it. But what irks me is when you can tell someone has little to no experience with something and they base their opinions around that.

I have played the game for over 100 hours and explored numerous planets, many of which were just rocks. They claimed there would only be loading screens during fast travel, but I've encountered many loading screens while playing, such as when landing on a planet. I want verifiable game metrics from a source other than the game studio. I requested a refund, but it was denied. The refund policy only allows refunds within a certain playtime limit. The denial of my refund request serves as evidence that I played the game for a significant amount of time, and this policy would apply to everyone, as you can only request a refund for a game you purchased. Despite giving the game multiple chances, I only found it decent after downloading mods, which I believe speaks poorly of the game.

The reason I bought and downloaded No Man's Sky was because I disliked Starfield so much. This is very good advice, No Man's Sky has some limitations but at least you won't get a loading screen as you land on a planet and you can fly with your ship around the planet you just landed.

Oh yes, my biggest issue with some space games is the loading into planetary bodies

Star Citizen has taken my heart however, this is my own opinion but its probably the best space game out there

Its ambitions and plans for the future is MASSIVE and even expensive that many companies probably wouldnt be able to afford but the developers of this game has funded so much that i believe they topped being the most funded game for a year once (i cant remember exactly)

Yes, when games announce too soon far from release, it becomes the waiting and patience game...which is most annoyung. I am on the dream house discord, and one of the most active member joined at November 2020...think about how patient he is lol. I joined last year and there was a point where I felt so disappointed in the lack of news that I left, but rejoined again later, still the same. They are indie and apparently they have alot of internal issues with their publisher, and keep switching projects..so they keep delaying dream house. It was only until I started following inzoi that I stopped keeping tab on that game.

there's no point in arguing about if a game is good or not, it's simply preference. I've seen long novels of debates in forums about game mechanics and features, the story, the devs etc all factoring in a players opinion. I often think they just go around in circles and then back to step 1 lol.

I think we now get to see that players are starting to realize the power of refunding as a way of showing their voice of disappointment. Hell divers was massively refunded as well when Sony forced them to make play station account in order to play the game. The game initially was well received, but because of the change, player was frustrated and negative reviewed bombed, and they won the battle in the end. No more play station acnt required to play and reviews were changed to positive again. The massive refund from players may not always be because they dislike a game. Though because the reason includes different issues, we get very mixed reviews. I guess things are not always black and white.

I think you're right. I think making a simulation game is complicated and requires a lot of thought and ambition, and energy. I doubt that EA has ambition to keep its monopoly with The Sims. EA may launch The Sims 5 but there are many criticisms and comparisons with the old Sims games and new competitors in the future.

Yeah but the Sims have pretty much monopolised this whole genre... to my knowledge there has never been another game like the sims for the past 25 years. Now there's 2 other games entering early access within months of each other, both of which have unique selling points that the Sims don't have. I think of Might and Magic... an open world RPG that had been going since the early 80s. Now they weren't exactly the only ones doing this genre but they were doing pretty good for what they had. I remember when M&M9 came out, it was just a few months before Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. I got both of them and WOW the difference between the 2 was multi-generational... needless to say Might and Magic as a franchise went under and never recovered.

There's a reason they were shutdown. There wasn't any leadership and employees weren't doing anything so they were moved to other Xbox studios. And the original guy Shinji Mikami instead of staying left soon after to go open another studio. Doesn't make financial sense to keep a studio open if there's nothing happening. Because you're paying people to just sit around who aren't working. It's not like Sony who would've just fired everyone. Least the people from Tango are still employed. Microsoft didn't just close it down to do so without thinking about their options. And clearly they thought it made more sense to relocate people and shut it. Which in the end doesn't matter because they still retain most of the IPs and people still have their jobs.
