Personally I don’t consider most location names spoilers since unless it’s obvious like ||Elpis since that’s used for both the flower and the place, and was hinted at being named after two things before you get to Elpis that’s very easily a spoiler imo|| but I still respect the not spoiling names anyway because you never know what information someone has or doesn’t have

That balance of timing is really the difficult point for developers. If they opt for a full fledged game bug free and optimized along with everything they are satisfied, that may take long. But the downside is hype will go down fast if devs too busy to give any updates to players leaving them guessing and spreading false rumors that game is dead. On the other hand, if they release soon, players may whine its incompleteness and bug fested...I can sympathize with the devs point of view. Plus, some players are really toxic and not understanding. And of course there's also bad greedy companies which uses scummy business models. I think Both game companies and playerbase all have bad apples in the mix which makes it worse sometimes lol.

Before, when I see "early access " games" I immediately thinks it must be bad as it is incomplete and may be a scam to get players donation support. etc. dragging their development and "fake" updates. But seeing how Inzoi handles the community so far has me completely see "early access" in a new light. The thought of able to participate in ideas and with almost real time communication with Kjun, it makes me feel really in tuned with how the developers behind the scenes are thinking, also learn alot about game developing. It's been interesting that I keep checking back everyday.😆

I feel that they are genuine and open with players that not alot of other devs are willing to share their concerns to. That's why I kind of trust Inzoi despite it being early access lol.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed because of the conversations we are having in #1246123416134877284 . they're giving us options based on feedback, which probably increases the scope of their work. however, what krafton achieved within 2 years of production is very surprising for me.

I think these changes based on feedback are really good, and will make the game better.

it gives me high hopes for a good quality game after early access. they're already changing things based on that feedback prior to us playing it 🙂

The people that don't create to earn a living of course would be the most happy as they are more than eager to have free stuff beside Sims dlc. So it's really only the creators is the most hurt. I guess the majority are not creators they don't really care 🤷

There are also ppl complaining about cc and mods being perma locked behind pay wall. Well, if the Sims had a good base aesthetic in the first place, they wouldn't even need it to be playable..this only tells me that they find quality in creators work rather than EA, but would instead support EA, such irony.

The best thing for Krafton to approach this is not be like The Sims, if they stay true and stick to a policy to begin with, they will be fine and even be the most powerful cc mod community with the possible creators from the Sims, imvu, and second life all gathered. If it's able to be monetized to begin with, stick to that, if it is not to be monetized to begin with but able to later, also consider to prevent change too much.

If Krafton gives monetization platform to creators, it will be the "first" life sim "game" that offers "true cc and mod support"

Modding generally is often free in games that are not life sims since people are mostly happy the way the base game already offers. They offer more competitive gameplay rather then focusing on creativity aspect. The reason why modding and cc for Life Sims or virtual worlds tend to get monetized by creators is the reason that they contain features that includes player creativity and expression. That may be one reason why Life By You failed, cause many people disliked how the character looked lol. That is why mod content for sims/avatars/characters/zois in a virtual metaverse is so important and such a big monetization incentive.

It really depends on their company monetization view..their policy often seems vague and kept being uncertain, making it cause all kinds of problems. And I don't even know if its intentional for them to make it vague, only to bait creators and then pull the rug..I can't really have a say. But overall, they seem like very bad at handling these issues by not addressing it clear and punish the undeserved just cause some are not abiding the rules.
