Hey everyone, I could use some help with my InZoi graphics settings.
After the April update, a bunch of new graphics options were added and I changed a few of them. Since then I’ve been getting FPS drops, lag, and the overall visual quality looks worse than before.

I’m playing on an RTX 4070 Acer Nitro laptop with 32GB RAM, and before the update the game ran perfectly.

If anyone knows the best settings for the new update or how to fix this, I’d really appreciate it.
If you also have an RTX 4070 laptop, it would really help if you could share screenshots of your graphics settings.

I click on save and quit but steam says im still in the game and even though i click on "stop" it cant stop playing so i always need to close steam properly then open it again. Does anyone else think the spacing threshold for items to stay functional is too strict? Like, even when you place two items with free placement, the gap needed for both to be usable still feels almost as strict as regular grid spacing, which kind of makes free placement feel pointless sometimes. Personally, I’d like Zois to be able to use both items as long as the game lets you place them in the green square while holding the free placement key, even if they’re closer together than the normal grid spacing would allow. That way, we could make functional builds with more creative freedom.

nw. in case you were curious, for example, say you have a bed on the right and a desk/chair setup on the left. With normal grid placement, you can’t put them side by side because the bed overlaps with the chair. But with free placement, you can scoot the bed a bit further right and the chair/desk a bit further left, so they visually fit on the same line.

The issue is that even though the game lets you place them that way, Zois still can’t use them because it says there isn’t enough space on the side. What I’d prefer is: if the game allows both objects to be placed using free placement, Zois should still be able to use both, even if they’re closer together than normal grid spacing would allow.

I get what you mean. I like to decorate by placing a bench at the edge of the bed. When I do this, the Zoi can't do the "spray fabric refresher" action because the bench is blocking the bed in the Zoi movement code I guess. It would be nice if that movement code aligned with the free placement.

Though they should fix the eating logic for choosing what they eat, that's annoying.
I usually start having real fun with 3-4 kids. Most of my games were families with 8 zois, now I can push anywhere between 9-12 usually, sometimes I reach the maximum of 14 I modded.

Also 2 new bug since 0.8.0,
1- Zois can have their needs locked all of a sudden and not require food or sleep, or even need to wash anymore
2- Many ppl are starting to report zois not aging to their next age groups even when aging is not disabled.

I haven't had any new bugs but I'm seeing older bugs I thought were resolved. Like every Zoi being sick. I raised the sanitation level in Cahaya so hopefully that fixes it. I'm also experiencing my Zoi looking around a lot and when she does, I can't direct her to do anything else unless I use the WASD keys to manually make her walk. I also have the clean the tub bug still. Nothing that would make me stop playing but definitely annoying. Ah, the joys of early access...

So I was looking at my Zoi's schedule cause its so fouled up. Somehow I ended up scheduling a promotion exam. Fine it showed up on the schedule.
But the sched was still a wreck so I clicked to 'turn on alll schedule items" off and game comes and says "You failed your promotion exam"!
Sched is still all fouled up.

I didnt have it right away, took a few days.
Also I noticed younger zoi do not get their homework on finishing a school day, they receive them at 5pm like older zois.
It's a bit nnoying for sharred computer time to do homework, before supper I usually had the younger zoi finish theirs, and older zois would do theirs after supper. Dunno if it's linked, by design, or a bug, but it's annoying to me

It affects big families first, so I might be the only one that has noticed it atm, lol

I like the new jobs and the fact you can have more than one.
Unfortunately every job I wanted to take has a day of conflict with the others, making the point completely moot.
At least I can take a (very bad) job on Mon and Fri now to fill the schedule to 5 days, but the pay really stinks.
