This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think games like this could really benefit from build guides for houses/buildings. Like, pre-set layouts, exteriors, and blueprint-style examples for people who want to learn how to make nice-looking builds.

For people like me, who are pretty dull in that area but still willing to learn, building from scratch can be really hard. Half the time I find myself alt-tabbing between Google Images or ChatGPT-generated images, and even then it’s hard to find references that look good and show both the exterior blueprint and the corresponding interior layout.

I’ve seen people saying the city-building genre could use some competition too. The best they got apparently is still Skylines 1 which was released in 2015. That said, it's a tough genre to make a good game in though.

InZoi will need a revamp on personality, but if they nail it, Paralives system could probably feel flatter. Not that there isn't a charm to a simpler system though. Different gameplays.

the simplicity of it reminds me of Sims 2. like i recently played it and made a Sims super playful and they were playing in the tub in game. it's a small thing, but it made their personality so unique

Honestly, I’m excited for inZOI updates and for more games to play. As gamers, we should just be thankful we live in an era where we’re no longer stuck with only one game representing the whole genre.

I dont mind early access games taking a few years to become fun to play anyhow. Like how Subnautica started out with only a few hours of gameplay and slowly grew into an amazing game over the course of 3 years. I just have very little faith in the understanding and patience of the people that are Paralives' target audience 💀

I play rotational! I added a house of criminals that all have different roles, one scams people on the boardwalk and gets them to sign up for fake stuff, another is a romancer who targets victims at night clubs to borrow money, another does physical extorts at night by the restaurant dock and alleys! I just fill their schedules to put them in different places and it generates natural crimes and drama 💀 giving them all kinda unique npc type roles is fun!
