Been playing with th age sliders a lot, and changing adult, middle-age and senior to 21 days each (instead of 10) is a real game changer. Even with keeping the way too long teenager phase at 15 days (which isn't so bad if you have them pick their hubby/wife soon and live with them in a small place until you marry on hitting young adult).

But the extra 10 days in each of the later stage was dearly missed and really improves the family dynamic IMHO.
Makes it possible for grandparents to meet their grandkids for more than a day, heh

In 0.1.0 it started breaking down roughly after 100 days.
I have not had the issue since, but only now with the age sliders am I starting to play longer games.
I still need them to fix farming so that "Do whatever ALL" has an ooption so the zoi actually does the option and not instant, then I am restarting my muultigeneration cahaya save... That will be the test then.

Most common then :

1. you'd get evicted from properties when the eldest zoi of the family died.
2. Some zois of played families would just become non-citizen and not be playable anymore.
3. Zois would quit their job on their own, run out of money then slowly die from hunger (instead of eating free soup).
4. Zoi's furniture would break down over time and they would die from whatever the effect was (usually slipping on the floor, but also hunger or not going to toilet/washing up).

I really don't get ppl saying they get bored with InZOI and there's nothing to do.
Playing the stay-at-home mom, I got up at 5.15am and I am JUST catching my first break at 11.15am, and that's playing 96min. And I did not do laundry or clean the house yet.

I did take care of the hubby before him going to work and my 2 children before they left for school, then cooked some treats (chocolate cookies) to put on the table for later, and stored the rest of the mango rice in the fridge for later as well.

Also had to fix the fridge which blew up, then the toilet.
Where and why do people feel bored ? I'm genuinely curious.
Are they picking a 09.00-06.00pm rabbit hole job and live alone in the smallest apartment in Dowon (Dowon Villa) ?

Some people like rabbit holes because they manage large families or multiple families at once, but there are options that help with that, some careers are active (you go with the Zoi to the job), and we have businesses that can eventually become passive income (manage only), and soon we’re getting freelancing and commissions from making music, books, programs.

The most active career imo is having a business as it has objectives you’re working towards to increase the reputation of your business. Some businesses are better than others, I have 2 and make about 20-30k per day 🙂

I think that overall when it came to the sims the only reason I played it in the past is because it gave me a reason to play it. I started on bustin out then 1 & 2 for console and I’ll be honest the console versions were better than pc. Pc gave me unlimited items but console gave a storyline a reason for playing. It’s like omg my mom wants me out of her house Malcolm is taking everything from everyone. I have to help them and I have to prove to my mom that I’m not lazy. Even castaway on console had a storyline to escape or stay on the island. I think ppl keep making life sims with no purpose and making games like stardew with no real story or reason that makes sense it’s the same thing on repeat and it’s boring.

Did a brief google search on this and this is what I found.

That message means the game is being forced to use DirectX 12. Fix it by removing the DX12 launch flag so the game runs with DX11.

If you use Steam, open Library, right click the game, go to Properties > General. In Launch Options remove -dx12 and -d3d12. Close the window and start the game.

We've had lots of new stuff since January (arguably, the age sliders/options were long over due), but there is a long standing "swarm" of mosquito bugs (pun intended) that are still there and as mosquitoes tend to be, make some aspect of the game annoying, heh. Doors you're gonna get told to change the direction of them, which IMHO fits into the "mosquito bug" category.
Town sliders not sure but it's been hinted at a few times in each patch cycle. But door permissions have been iffy since I started playing on the 13th of April... Last year.

I had to restart cooking a few times. I start working on mango sticky rice, one of my kids or the hubby starts a conversation, my Zoi forgot she was cooking... Can't click the bowl to continue cooking. Have to waste the ingredients by deleting bowl in build mode and start again. Very annoying.

I checked and it's on the (ever growing) list of "Known issues" on the forum.
Too bad, I wanted to report it, but I guess it's just back to waiting.

I also want to be able to lock the fridge behind a locked door only my cook can open.
It only works with either the hubby or if not oldest zoi in the house.
Which is rarely my cooking zoi, so I am unable to do it.

At least If I could, it would solve the faulty "what do I go for, I am hungry" code which always pick mangos and leave left overs to go bad.

When a meal went bad before 0.7.0 you could see green miasma around the fridge door, then you clicked the fridge and got the option to "clean". This would only remove the spoiled meals. I have absolutely NO idea as to why they removed this, it was working really well.

Now you indeed need to clean them one by one and you don't even know they are spoiled until you take them out...
Oh and your zois will eat them too... yuk !

And yes my zoi takes out spoiled food with flies hovering around it and I have to click to trash it, I also feel like the cleaning system is pointless now, before you could tell which rooms were dirty now you have to squint and check for dust on Tv screens

Now you cannot queue them and you can only plan one at a time.
