That's easy for me. Main Zoi starts as a kid. I grow up, get married, have tons of kids, my dad(or mom, or both) dies, then my hubby dies, then I die, then my kids continue playing (unless they change the max # per household, that means 6) each in their own households having kids too...

Now my serious games always crashed from some bugs back then (before 0.2.0 - way less stable then) so usually my games stopped around there, or close to 120 days, give or take.

An epic adventure over over a hundred days at 96min/day.

I miss that.

That makes for quick generations (21 days).
It also gives more days to play with with the other stages.
I probably want elder to start around 80

I think I've got it.
This seems a mix of all three... A quick generation, long younger years, still enough wiggle room to enjoy the late life.

Seems very unlikely. And if they do mess it up, they will probably walk it back when people report it, like they did with when they messed up the patterns. They know how long many players spend creating Zois, it's why they are introducing more options to create more dynamic Zois.

I remember when TS4 implemented an eyelash system that legit messed up EVERY Sim, from toddlers up. It was disastrous. Modders had to go in and fix it. I legit had a meltdown because at the time I was writing a story and it messed up all of my characters.

Did you update to the 5.6 beta engine? It's not compatible with mods. You'll need to revert back to the regular engine if you updated to 5.6

If you updated, you can't use Mods. The option won't even be visible. Go back to the old version if you want to use Mods again.

You put the food in or on a display counter marked as 'for sale'.
A customer will come in, point at the Kiosk, order something, then go and take it from the Display counter.

But you MUST put the item to be sold in the display counter that is the only way it will sell.

Here is a cute trick I learned.
If you have an employee you can click on that employee and select "Order".
Order something like a plate of cookies. The employee will hand you the cookies within moments.
Now cancel the 'eat' action. You will be standing holding a plate of cookies. Now click on a display counter and select 'place for sale'

You can do this repetavly and fill the counters quickly.

If you are edging like a good 50/50 mixture of settings, then I would do Custom. I personally said Custom because my settings lean mostly towards Ultra, but quite a few of them are changed.

im really happy a lot of people play on ultra, hopefully this convinces the devs to not limit the game too much in terms of things like buildings and distance culling! because ik optimisation is important but i hope they allow for people who have the hardware that can handle more intensity to be able to have more freedom with that. i think the rabbit holes, shells, and things like that should be up to player discretion for what they can manage
