5. Add reactions to channel changes by another Zoi, and provide options to suppress TV interference
   or switch to watch together
6. Improve group movement so Zois move side by side, look at each other, and play conversation
   animations while moving
7. Support custom key binding for selected hotkey i really dont see how some of these are fundemental and so important ?

Yes Nexus mods too and I think the Nexus mods are easier to install than a year ago. But also be careful with mods, they really do cause instability. I was having issues with my game camera, never thinking it was my mods because I only use clothing and hair CC. I removed all my mods and the camera works fine again

Right now I think Curseforge is preferred. I think the reason we're seeing a lot more cosmetic mods and less furniture is the pattern system is pretty robust so the need for variety in furniture is less. Also there's a learning curve for Unreal Engine that seems intimidating to a lot of the modders who came over from Sims 4

The pattern system is where you can apply in game and external patterns/textures to the furniture and art. There is also the in-game 3d printer but I don't have much success with it lol And you can also craft some furniture but it's only chairs and tables, switching their legs and frames

I keep having the "Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource" popup when trying to get into the character studio or my save, I've tried disabling my script mods (all that are left are my CAZ mods and they're all up to date), clearing my NVIDIA shaders etc - I have the required specs, not sure what's going on. Can it only handle a certain amount of mods in general?

I had just dowloaded some stuff from canvas when it happened, fixed it yesterday by clearing my shader cache but that isn't working anymore

In Task Manager: Check GPU -> Dedicated Memory
If it is full while being ingame when the error happens it could be your GPU memory aka VRAM (not RAM).
Lowering texures could help with that.

Graphics settings are at a mix of high and low, but mostly high, dedicated memory goes up to 11.6/12 gb so not full but pretty close

I remember with the Sims, the mods most likely to cause crashes were the ones that changed gameplay. Cosmetic mods were less likely to cause issues unless you downloaded a crazy amount of them. That's not the case with InZoi. Clothing and hair mods will cause instability just as much as the gameplay mods.

I took all my clothing mods out and am going all in recoloring the in game clothes with patterns and colors.

to me basically any Mod 'may' cause issues so I avoid them for now. Have had very very few issues crashes etc. Games been solid performer for me.

The biggest difference will be noticeable when the update from UE5.4 to UE5.6 comes in June. Unless they have a team working in parallel, it's a huge improvement, but it's a challenge for the team, and that will mean big changes across the board: modkit, game, etc.

I have been very lucky with my game. Crashes are rare for me. Which is why my camera issue was so unusual. It was mod related.

I think the version and modkit will be released simultaneously, since releasing the version and then spending 3 months fixing what users can't modify is a hassle and wouldn't be a very good idea, although it would be practically normal for it to happen, but I think everything will come together, update and modkit.

No, it doesn't for me. I don't see that it impacts automony at all, it mostly just created very immersive Inner Thoughts in my game. I love Smart Zoi, it's one of my favorite features. That said I have access to a graphics card that is powerful enough to run it.

I kind of wish it would impact autonomy more but hopefully as the game updates, it'll work more seamlessly

Early access is really not for players who want a fleshed out robust game or are impatient about what gets added and when. It's best to play full release games where what you see is what you get if the fluid nature of early access creates frustration

Actually, no. I researched a bit into game development, and engines basically work by storing memory of a texture and then loading them in when the player views the scene. Having lots of different textures would cause lag since it has to load in each one individualy. However, if you have a bunch of copies of the same thing, the engine only needs to load it in once for all these copies to appear.

In terms of inzoi, the way it was built was by basically making a bunch of different objects they used as building shells in the game, causing the engine to have to load each one in individualy and thus diminishing performce. Now, when it comes to build mode, it's literally the same exact objects copied over and over again, meaning the engine only has to load them in once. So it makes sense why build mode buildings cause less lag

There are. There are also areas in the video buildings that currently dont exist in the game/they're "hidden". They might even be working on actually functional apartments, but i wouldn't put too much hope into that cause it's purely speculation

I like that the sleep in bed interaction is being worked on. I want zoi couples to snuggle together when they go to sleep. I have a couple of ideas for more features. Like zois having fight and negative interactions, because some aren't meant to get along. House robberies from NPCs should be a thing, but zois can get burglar alarms that will notify police. Also, I would like to see more pop-up events with notifications, and sometimes they should make players make a choice, with chances of a good or bad outcome. I hope you like my ideas

You have one license for your account and family share enables you to share it within your family/group and the owner of the game gets priority access so if your gf is playing a game that you own and you decide to play it at same time it will kick her out.

No way, really? I never knew that about Canada, and I know a little bit about Canada. I wanted to go to film school in Canada, but one rejected me because I couldn't do camera work because of my disability. It kind of sucked. I like poutine. I know the beer is stronger, and my brother got his car stolen on vacation in Montreal, but I still want to see Canada really bad.

And the best part about Canada? The band, Rush. I wanted to see them in Canada on this tour, but they sold out before I could snap my fingers. The shows where I live were almost sold out too, but the seats are way too expensive.

I really think the devs should have the "died from anger" for Zois who are elderly and even then it should have a very very low occurrence rate. I had a gameplay idea to have two roommates who don't like each other so as soon as I started the game I had then argue again and again to create that history between them. One of them died of anger. 💀

I'm going to try and play a mother and two teen family. My biggest difficulty with playing multiple Zois is I'm such a micromanager lol I am going to focus more on the teens and then have Mom more as a placeholder Zoi. That way I won't feel pressured to manage her life and the teens life as well. I'm so extra because I am modding a bunch of my own outfits for the teen daughter lol I am moving away from using anything but hair mods and my own mods

im not sure, they havent really spoken on controller improvements all that much

even now i catch myself essentially using dual controls (switching between controller and keyboard) in build mode and on the map because its just easier on keyboard sometimes. legit have no idea how to pan on the map with controller btw. i do know they said theyre going to implement custom controls im settings though so you can choose your keybinds!

My view is that a normal (even minimal) dev cycle for a modern game is about 5-7 years. It’s only been ~3 so far, and there’s still enough time until 2028 to make a significant leap in quality.

I’m not sure the roadmap is easy to complete considering our request to refocus on the fundamentals, and I wouldn’t rush it.

I just had my first look into the savegame folder, and it's really weird. Do they do it by date? What is with all of the pictures in the folder of people I don't know? Are those townies?

What folders and files are okay to delete if you're starting a new game and don't want the old ones hanging around?

I think InZoi should have waited until full release for mod creation tools honestly. Early access games experience a ton of transitions. Also inexperienced players never remove mods and then when crashes happen, they report it as a game issue and not a mod conflict issue. It's a lot for devs to sort through, even though they probably know how to sift through it all.

Most InZoi players are coming from Sims or GTA, both heavily modded games, so it's an expectation. But I also feel Sims players are not technically savvy and need a lot of hand holding and that mindset has crossed over to InZoi
