it wsa effectively the equivilant of summoning exodia, the catch is that the game wasn't automatically over, you COULD still beat the moon
it was just really hard
so i figure that the buckshot equivilant of that mechanic is that if you manage to do something (again im trying to figure that out) then you gain full knowledge of the order of shells

"Ah... That shotgun an old friend of mine, despite being from another world, gave it to me as a gift of good will... I was thinking of implementing it into my game.... Now... Come sit down I have something to show you..." Then he reveals the new mechanic. You can play Inscryption WITH a side game of buckshot roulette. Getting a blank on yourself gives you a point, and shooting Leshy also gives you a point (don't worry, he's fine) but shooting a blank at Leshy, or shooting yourself not only takes out your eye (like Leshy's dagger) but also loses you a point and shooting a blank at Leshy loses you a point... Basically a thing of risk and reward, you can always pick up the shotgun and try your luck. Although in this version, you don't know how many blanks or live shells there are... You can't count... Thus making it even more of a gamble... Although there could be an item or maybe if you get the magic eye it will reveal the number of shells and blanks.
I also thought of a canon way the Dealer and Leshy could've met in the past if anyone wants to hear it

The company that makes the machines in Buckshot Roulette decided to make a video game version of the Dealer to play Buckshot Roulette with the players, and so they contacted Gamefuna and asked to license out some of the Game Works code to create the game, Gamefuna took the deal and in this small window of time, Leshy and The Dealer were able to meet in The Game works... Although this would also mean The Dealer is fully sentient and knows he's in a game because lore reasons.

nah i was thinking more for a multiplayer sense of gameplay, so i thought a good way of it working is that you can shoot the shotgun twice per turn, the second time you shoot is what declares the end of your turn
and shooting a blank gives the target an item
and shooting a live gives you 3 points after their defibrillator dispenses the battery it used to revive them (also the scale is 10 points on each side)

Uh so I might be understanding something incorrectly about this game. There are 2 lives and 2 blanks. Before firing any shots, I use burner phone. It says the 4th round is live. I drink a beer, remove a live round. I drink another beer, remove a blank. I can now deduce I have a blank in the chamber. I use the inverter, and shoot the other player. However, when the shotgun fires, the shell is still a blank. It is now the other player's turn. They shoot themselves, and it's still a blank? What the hell?

Yeah, phone basically works like this for now w/ the new bug:
1-2 shells: Unfortunate
3 shells: Accurate
4+ shells: Will tell you a random shell 2+ shells in the future, but you don't know which one it is despite what the phone tells you
So I guess using it on 4+ has marginal utility if it's like a 3 live/1 blank loadout and you see a blank, bc then you know the next 2 shells are live. But other than that, you basically get no info except on exactly 3 shells

-Time limit for every action: 10 seconds to use/pick up object (if time runs out, player will pick up shotgun). 5 seconds to shoot someone(if time runs out, player will shoot itself)

When it shows the bullets in the multiplayer and it's like X red bullets and Y blue ones, the red ones are not necessarily the live ones right?
it is just showing that there are X bullets of one type and Y of the another, but the blue ones may be the live shells right?

I was playing normally, then used Adrenaline into Magnifying glass, then was completely frozen in place. Could not interact

but it seemed to me that the amount of lives were different that the quantity shown in the beginning

I would guess that liars dice already has some theory out there, given that it's a game that already existed. Liar's deck on the other hand is very simplistic and original to the game, so I think it would be cool to find the optimal strategy for it. I've solved a couple of model games similar to it as well as the case for 2 players where each player is only dealt 2 cards
